Fiona Hill, was the star witness for the Democrat Representative Adam Schiff’s impeachment show trial.  This State Department employee was BFF of the Steele dossier’s PSS, and is more Russian than most Russians.

CNN started the interview by claiming that the FBI and CIA both are reporting that Russia is attempting to interfere in the 2020 election and prevent Biden from winning.

Massive election fraud is on its way – watch out for State Secretaries

But it is the Secretaries of State that control how voting takes place and certifies elections. Here is why we need to worry.

The real deal are the State Secretary offices. Think it doesn’t matter? Look what happened with having Mark Ritchie Secretary of State in Minnesota and the Al Franken win. Who is Mark Ritchie?

Ritchie in the 1990s had been a member of the now-defunct socialist New Party.[20] Moreover, he has ideological ties to the Communist Party USA and has been described by communist Tim Wheeler as a “friend” of the Party.

It gave us Obamacare with the 60th vote.

Minnesota’s November election for U.S. Senate, Republican incumbent Norm Coleman finished 725 votes ahead of Democratic challenger Al Franken; the thin margin of victory, however, triggered an automatic recount. With Mark Ritchie presiding over the recount process during the ensuing weeks, Coleman’s lead gradually dwindled due to what journalist Matthew Vadum describes as a long series of “appalling irregularities” that invariably benefited Franken.

As USA Today reported at the time: “The political battle for control of the federal government has opened up a new front: the obscure but vital state offices that determine who votes and how those votes are counted.”[11]

The Secretary of State Project (SoSP) was established in July 2006 as an independent “527” organization devoted to helping Democrats get elected to the office of secretary-of-state in selected swing, or battleground, states.

One of the principal duties of the secretary of state is to serve as the chief election officer who certifies candidates as well as election results in his or her state.[2] The holder of this office, then, can potentially play a key role in determining the winner of a close election. Funding included George Soros. Other players were Mark Ritchie.

To establish “election protection” against similar disappointments in subsequent political races, SoSP in 2006 targeted its funding efforts on the secretary-of-state races in seven swing states: Colorado, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada, New Mexico, and Ohio.[10]

Democrats emerged victorious in five of those seven elections, all except Colorado and Michigan. Politico.com would later characterize SoSP as “an administrative firewall” designed, “in anticipation of a photo-finish presidential election,” to protect Democrats’ “electoral interests in … the most important battleground states.”[12]

In 2008, SoSP supported Democratic secretary-of-state candidates in Missouri, Montana, Oregon and West Virginia; all four Democrats won. These results represented yet another high return on a relatively small financial investment for SoSP.

Brunner went on to make her influence felt in several significant ways two years later, during the 2008 election cycle:

  • She ruled that Ohio residents should be permitted, during the designated early-voting period extending from late September to early October, to register and vote on the very same day.[15]
  • In a separate matter, Brunner sought to effectively invalidate many of the approximately one million absentee-ballot applications that Republican presidential candidate John McCain’s campaign had issued. Each of those forms had been printed with a checkbox next to a statement affirming that the voter was a qualified elector; Brunner maintained that if an applicant failed to check the box—even if he or she signed the form—the application could be rejected. But Republicans noted that state law did not require the box to be checked as long as the voter signed the ballot. The Ohio Supreme Court subsequently overturned Brunner’s directive on grounds that it served “no vital purpose or public interest.”[16] 
  • In October 2008, Brunner refused to comply with county election-board requests that she turn over approximately 200,000 voter-registration forms in which the name did not match the driver’s license or Social Security number.[17]

Another early beneficiary of SoSP support was Democrat Mark Ritchie, who, with SoSP help in 2006, defeated a two-term incumbent Republican in the race for Minnesota secretary of state. Ritchie acknowledged his debt to SoSP when he said, “I want to thank the Secretary of State Project and its thousands of grass-roots donors for helping to push my campaign over the top.”[18] Other contributors to Ritchie’s campaign included Heather Booth, Drummond Pike, Deborah Rappaport (wife of venture capitalist Andrew Rappaport), and George Soros.

Wayne County, Michigan, leaders want the Secretary of State to intervene after there was chaos while counting absentee ballots on primary election night.

The Detroit News reported:

Recorded ballot counts in 72% of Detroit’s absentee voting precincts didn’t match the number of ballots cast, spurring officials in Michigan’s largest county to ask the state to investigate ahead of a pivotal presidential election.

Without an explanation from Detroit election workers for the mismatches, the Wayne County Board of Canvassers requested this week for Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson’s office to examine the “training and processes” used in Detroit’s Aug. 4 primary, which one official described as a “perfect storm” of challenges. The board is charged with certifying election results.

Michelle Obama’s Chief of Staff Tchen refuses Subpoena in Smollett Case

This looks like the typical Chicago collection of best pals. What do Michelle Obama, Tina Tchen, George Soros, Kim Foxx and Jussie Smollett have in common?

Nothing that money can’t buy apparently. Yesterday a Chicago judge ordered the court records regarding the sealed Smollett records unsealed.

Who was behind this idea of transferring to the FBI and why did whoever think this would work better than a Chicago investigation? Not known as the bastion of honesty. What is it she doesn’t want to tell? Does she really think she can avoid a Subpoena?

Let’s take a look. The fun begins.

Chicago attorney Tina Tchen — who was in contact with Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx before the charges were dropped against former “Empire” actor Jussie Smollett — refused to be served with a subpoena on Wednesday, according to the process server.

Tchen, who previously served as former First Lady Michelle Obama’s chief of staff, refused to accept a subpoena that was issued by former Illinois Appellate Judge Sheila O’Brien.

O’Brien is petitioning for the appointment of a special prosecutor to look into the state’s attorney’s office’s handling of the Smollett case. She is calling for Tchen to attend a May 31 hearing at the Leighton Criminal Courthouse and bring with her copies of “any and all documents, notes, phone records, texts, tape recordings made or received at any time, concerning [Tchen’s] conversations with Kim Foxx in re: Jussie Smollett.”

Edward Ryan, who operates a private investigation firm in the southwest suburbs, said one of his process servers went to Tchen’s law firm in River North on Wednesday, but she refused to come to the lobby to accept the subpoena.

Ryan said the security guard in the building’s lobby would not let the process server upstairs. The guard called Tchen in her office and “she said she knew about” the subpoena, but refused to come down.

A Super PAC is a fundraising group, created by the 2010 Supreme Court Citizens United decision, that can raise as much money as they want for any candidate or cause—as long as they don’t coordinate on any level with political campaigns, which have much smaller campaign limits.

George Soros, the billionaire of progressive-slash-socialist and globalist causes the world over, has been busy buying his way into local district attorney campaigns in the United States. He has found he can get a lot of bang for his bucks in these races.

Talk about trying to turn the judicial system into an activist camp for the left.

It’s one thing to exercise one’s First Amendment rights to support candidates with similar political leanings. It’s another thing entirely to try and collapse a limited government republic, from the bottom up, and implement, in its place, a judicial branch filled with people who twist the Bill of Rights into something it’s not, the Constitution into something it was never intended to be, and the rule of law into a mocking tool for far-left gain.

In California alone:

He was referring to the big money that Soros, via his funding of progressive-minded California Justice & Publicly Safety PAC, is tossing into several local D.A. races. In Contra Costa, a Soros-tied PAC has kicked in $100,000-plus to support the leftist candidate; in Alameda County, more than $550,000 of Soros-tied money has gone to a hard-core civil rights attorney fighting for the comparatively conservative District Attorney Nancy O’Malley’s seat. Another $400,000 or so of Soros money’s gone toward the Sacramento County district attorney race.

But the real deal are the State Secretary offices. Think it doesn’t matter? Look what happened with having Mark Ritchie Secretary of State in Minnesota and the Al Franken win. Who is Mark Ritchie?

Ritchie in the 1990s had been a member of the now-defunct socialist New Party.[20] Moreover, he has ideological ties to the Communist Party USA and has been described by communist Tim Wheeler as a “friend” of the Party.

It gave us Obamacare with the 60th vote.

Minnesota’s November election for U.S. Senate, Republican incumbent Norm Coleman finished 725 votes ahead of Democratic challenger Al Franken; the thin margin of victory, however, triggered an automatic recount. With Mark Ritchie presiding over the recount process during the ensuing weeks, Coleman’s lead gradually dwindled due to what journalist Matthew Vadum describes as a long series of “appalling irregularities” that invariably benefited Franken.

As USA Today reported at the time: “The political battle for control of the federal government has opened up a new front: the obscure but vital state offices that determine who votes and how those votes are counted.”[11]

The Secretary of State Project (SoSP) was established in July 2006 as an independent “527” organization devoted to helping Democrats get elected to the office of secretary-of-state in selected swing, or battleground, states.

One of the principal duties of the secretary of state is to serve as the chief election officer who certifies candidates as well as election results in his or her state.[2] The holder of this office, then, can potentially play a key role in determining the winner of a close election. Funding included George Soros. Other players were Mark Ritchie.

To establish “election protection” against similar disappointments in subsequent political races, SoSP in 2006 targeted its funding efforts on the secretary-of-state races in seven swing states: Colorado, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada, New Mexico, and Ohio.[10]

Democrats emerged victorious in five of those seven elections, all except Colorado and Michigan. Politico.com would later characterize SoSP as “an administrative firewall” designed, “in anticipation of a photo-finish presidential election,” to protect Democrats’ “electoral interests in … the most important battleground states.”[12]

In 2008, SoSP supported Democratic secretary-of-state candidates in Missouri, Montana, Oregon and West Virginia; all four Democrats won. These results represented yet another high return on a relatively small financial investment for SoSP.

How to win leftist friends without really trying

I’ve been trying to figure out James Comey, 7th Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation.  According to my understanding, Mr. Comey was, for most of his adult life, a registered Republican.  That changed in 2016 when he stated that politically, he is unaffiliated.

 

So, what happened in 2016?  In the news …

*Bernie Sanders was utterly destroyed by Hillary Clinton, after which she handily won the Democratic nomination for the presidency.

*Hillary Clinton seized the Democratic National Convention, and then drove that organization toward bankruptcy from such shenanigans as paying for a fake Dossier on Donald J. Trump, which from all accounts, cost the DNC millions of dollars.

*Black Lives Matter made it in to the political mainstream, which clearly must stand out as one of Barack Obama’s principal achievements.

*Elizabeth Warren challenged anyone to prove that she’s not a Native American.  If she is, then she must be one of the richest Indians on the continent.  Her Middlesex County wigwam cost multi-millions of wampum.  Later testing revealed that she’s actually 1/1,024th part Native American.  In making her claim, no one is quite sure which part she’s talking about.

*Bill Clinton met surreptitiously with Loretta Lynch, who was then serving as Attorney General of the United States.  As Attorney General, Lynch was Comey’s boss.

*Not long afterward, James Comey announced that he would not seek an indictment of Hillary Clinton over the now infamous email controversy.

*Four weeks before the 2016 general election, Comey drafted a letter exonerating Clinton for any wrong doing.

*Two weeks before the election, Comey stated that he would re-open the Clinton investigation.  Democrats claimed that Comey sabotaged Clinton’s chance of winning the election.

*Donald J. Trump surprised everyone by winning the general election and Hillary Clinton started hating Trump even more than she did before then —which, when you think about it, is an awful lot of hate for one person.

Of course, we can only guess about what was really going on.  Comey, a long-time Republican, suddenly unaffiliated, refused to ask for an indictment of Clinton in the face of overwhelming evidence that she willfully and intentionally violated federal law respecting the safeguarding of classified information.  This was after Bill’s meeting with Loretta.  Then, Comey did a 180 and “re-opened” the investigation.

Here’s my guess: Barack Obama did not want Clinton to succeed him.  Why? Because George Soros didn’t want Clinton to succeed Obama.  A republican in the White House for four years gives Georgie four years to look around for another Manchurian candidate.

What has Soros to do with Comey?  As my friend at Bunkerville keep’s reminding me, if you ever want to find the truth, follow the money.  I would like to know if Comey has an off-shore bank account and whether a very large sum of money was ever deposited there … oh, say, between two and four weeks before the general election.

 

Getting back to the Clinton email snafu, I heard today that a federal judge has ruled that Mrs. Clinton must answer questions under oath during a further inquiry into the events of the email escapade.  I presume that Judge Royce C. Lamberth will schedule a judicial hearing in the not-too-distance future.  If true, then 2019 should turn out to be a very happy new year for conservatives.  Removing this case from the halls of Congress to a federal courtroom seems like the right thing to do.

If there are any competing theories out there?  I’d love to hear them.  I love conspiracy theories.  There are so many possibilities about how this affair will turn out, and so little time.

The “Open Society” and George Soros – Just what is it?

The notion of an open society was first conceived by the French philosopher Henri Bergson in 1932.  An Austrian-born British philosopher named Karl Popper developed it further after World War II.  How we should define a closed society, according to Bergson, is one closed to open-mindedness, either in law or religion.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Popper defined it as a society that evolves from its tribal instincts (social tradition) to a depersonalized society —one where we dispense with face-to-face transactions and one in

which the government must be responsive to all our demands and operate based on transparency and flexibility.  This may almost seem like utopia.  The notion of transparency seems reasonable, but should citizens demand that every government action be revealed to the general public?  Politicians like to talk about transparency, but only when it suits members of congress personally.  To me, “Open Society” seems several steps beyond the collectivist (i.e., communist) state.

 

One further note about Popper: he believed that no one could suppress the ideas of individuality and humanitarianism once people became aware of them —so that it would be impossible for an open society to return to a closed society.

It sounds nice.

Yet, as with all really nice-sounding ideas about how we can all find ways to get along, Bergson’s and Popper’s notions can be and have been corrupted.  Today, the primary advocate of the Open Society is none other than George Soros, who founded the Open Society Foundation.

There are clearly two sides to George Soros: that which he heralds, and that which he indeed supports.  On paper, Soros embraces a vibrant, tolerant society whose government is accountable to the people and open to their participation.

He claims a desire to strengthen the rule of law in such areas as respect for human rights, minorities, diversity of opinion, democratic elections.  He wants a civil society that helps keep government power in check.  Toward these goals, the Open Society Foundation seeks to shape public policy toward assuring greater fairness in political, legal, and economic systems.  He wants to safeguard fundamental rights.  These are George Soros’ stated goals.

What George Soros actually does, however, is something quite different.  Some have claimed that Soros organized and funded as many as 206 organizations.  I’m not able to say that this is true, but he has funded more than a few organizations, either directly or through his Open Society Foundation.  Each of these have published seemingly worthwhile mission statements, but all of these are committed to goals and projects that support the progressive/neo-Marxist agenda.  The Open Society Foundation pretends to address social problems, but there is very little disclosure about the kind of society it hopes to create.  Let’s look at a few of these organizations, and then you can decide for yourself how worthwhile they are:

  • The advancement Project, seeking or organize communities of color.  One may recall that Obama was a community organizer and here we may see for the first time the original link between Obama and Soros.
  • Al Haq is an NGO that focuses on accusing Israel of human rights abuses.
  • Alliance for Justice, an activist agency that recently manufactured lies and uncorroborated accusations against Judge Bret Kavanaugh.
  • America Coming Together coordinates and organizes pro-Democrat voter mobilization efforts.  I suspect that they may have branch offices in every graveyard in America’s bluest states.
  • America’s Voice, an open borders group supporting comprehensive immigration reform, amnesty for illegal aliens, and the establishment of sanctuary cities (and states).
  • American Bridge 21st Century is a Super PAC that conducts “opposition research.”
  • New America, focusing on public policy, national security, technology, asset building, health matters, gender, energy, education, and the US economy.  Google’s[1] Executive Chairman heads this organization’s board of directors: who better to develop technology to spy on the American people?
  • Black Lives Matter, which is an international activist movement that focuses on systemic racism.
  • Media Matters for America, a propaganda arm of the Open Society Foundation.  Its mission is the comprehensively monitor, analyze, and correct conservative misinformation.  Discovering its relationship with CNN, MSNBC, and other far-left media groups would be quite interesting; my guess is that this is where FAKE NEWS comes from.
  • Center for Public Integrity, an investigative journalism organization intended to reveal abuses of power, corruption, and dereliction of duty by powerful public and private institutions.  Since we have not seen an exposé of the overwhelming corruption of Maxine Waters, we should probably assume that these journalists only investigate members of the GOP.

The primary benefactor to each of these Soros organized or funded efforts is none other than the party of Andrew Jackson—the one political entity in the United States that embraces Marxism in all its forms and has since the presidency of Woodrow Wilson: The Democratic National Party.

Whenever Soros claims to support fundamental human rights, he’s speaking about open borders —which no conservative in his right mind can support while remaining an American traditionalist.  Soros also claims to support the idea that all societies should be free to participate fully in civic, economic, and cultural life —unless one happens to belong to the other party, in which case the so-called Anti-FA thugs (black or brown shirts) show up to intimidate you into sitting down and shutting up.

Soros claims as a goal to hold those in power accountable for their actions —unless they are dyed-in-the-wool Democratic fascists who seek to increase the size of government and its control over the people, through legislation, taxation, and anti-American amendments to the United States Constitution (and its Amendments).

Hence, Soros’ statement that his Open Society Foundation seeks to respond quickly and flexibly to the most critical threats to an Open Society.  This may explain why people appeared at Tucker Carlson’s house after dark and tried to batter down his front door, terrorizing his wife.

My conclusion is that George Soros’ Open Society Foundation is fake.  Bergson and Popper may have created these ideas under the noblest of motivations, which I believe are unnecessary in American society, but it has been hijacked by communists for their own purposes.  One cannot help but notice how the missions and values of the Soros organizations are constructed in such a way as to form the greatest appeal to the young and under-educated: identity politics is now the primary mantra of the Democratic Party and this is no mere coincidence.
