Soros Demanded Fox Ban DiGenova and Victoria Toensing

Some clever whistleblower needs to disseminate the secret recording of the meeting where the managers and editors at Foxnews put the employees and affiliates on notice that no mention of George Soros name can be made on air or in print going forward.

So much for the Harris Faulkner apology regarding shutting off Newt Gingrich. Here we set the stage:

DiGenova Touches a Nerve Revealing Soros’s Evil Power

Lou Dobbs Tonight – 13 November 2019

Joseph DiGenova and Victoria Toensing explain George Soros’s meddling in Ukraine and his illicit influence in the US State Department. Following these statements, Soros contacted Fox News demanding they ban DiGenova from the network.

Here is the appearance on the Lou Dobbs show in question:

”The president of the philanthropic organization founded by billionaire investor George Soros, Patrick Gaspard, president of the Open Society Foundations and former U.S. Ambassador to South Africa, posted a letter to Twitter Thursday addressed to Fox News CEO Suzanne Scott, in which he said Fox News “gave air time to McCarthyism.”

“I request an on-air retraction and request that you bar Mr. diGenova as a guest on your network,” Gaspard wrote.“This is beyond rhetorical ugliness, beyond fiction, beyond ludicrous,” Gaspard wrote of diGenova’s comments.
“It’s patently untrue; It is not even possible. This is McCarthyite.”Noting he had written to Fox News before about the network’s “pattern of false information” regarding Soros.
Gaspard pointed to Fox’s ban of Judicial Watch official Chris Farrell following him floating a conspiracy about George Soros in 2018 on an episode of Lou Dobbs Tonight, saying the situation with diGenova “demands no less.”“It’s bad enough that commentators on your air regularly engage in the most grotesque anti-Semitic slurs against Mr. Soros,” Gaspard wrote.Gaspard also CC’d high profile media correspondents like CNN’s Brian Stelter and The Washington Post’s Erik Wemple in his tweet.
Others, such as ADL President Jonathan Greenblatt, suggested diGenova was using an ‘anti-Semitic trope’ against Soros, who is Jewish.

The “Open Society” and George Soros – Just what is it?

Gingrich: ‘McCain’s attack on Paul sad’

Gingrich takes on McCain and calls him sad. Understatement of the year. The Grand Old Party should be declared dead. The word “Old” needs to be replaced with new. As the song says, “Get out of the old road if you can’t lend a hand, cause the times they are a changing. A nice little rant going here. What troubles me is they never talk about Al-alwaki’s son that was blasted away a week after his father was killed while sitting in a  restaurant.

Gingrich said he was “disappointed” by McCain’s decision to “lecture” Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) and those senators who joined him in his Wednesday filibuster. “I don’t know what’s happened to John McCain, but I find this very sad,” Gingrich said. “So, who are you with?” Blitzer asked Gingrich pointedly regarding the feud between the Senate GOP’s younger and older members over the Obama administration’s drone warfare program. “The McCains or the Rand Pauls?”

“Well, I’m really disappointed in John McCain, and I’m very saddened by it,” Gingrich replied. “McCain, in his younger years, was a great maverick. He took on his party all the time.”

The idea that he’s now lecturing the next generation because they have the guts to stand up, which is I — I would have thought John McCain we do have applauded them and he would have said, I may not agree with you in detail, but I’m proud of the fact that you’re standing up for your beliefs, you’re fighting.
Gingrich added that Paul was correct to question the Department of Justice’s presumed legal authority to execute and American citizen on U.S. soil without due process via a drone strike.

“I mean, if our Constitution means anything, it means that your government can’t capriciously kill you without the rule of law,” Gingrich asserted. “And it was very clear from the attorney general’s earlier letters that they were reserving the right — remember, we’re not talking about a combatant engaged in fighting against the US. The minute you do that, you lose all your rights.”

Newt Gingrich: Government can control diet & exercise

Anyone recall Gingrich and his comment claiming that Cantor’s bill was Right Wing “Social engineering”? I have zero preference regarding the GOPer candidates at this point. But lets keep our eye out on this one. This tubby sort of guy, before the tub, had this idea? Its srarting to get a little heavy handed this Newtron Gingrich. Just what agency will keep tabs on this idea. Sure, we all need to be healthy. But are we to be bribed like children?

 A comment:”
Genetics are the biggest determining factor for heart health at any age. So basically your going to take our tax money and give it to people with the right parents.

Newt Gingrich denies the existence of the Bohemian Grove

No doubt it is because I am really ticked about Gingrich these days for making his  attacks on Capitalism that bring me to this post. So here goes, my effort to take a swipe at him. I wonder how he tolerated all of the “vulture” Capitalists that he mixed with at their annual meeting.

Vanity Fair did a story on the Bohemian Grove get-together some time ago. Its author spent a night at the Grove and came up with a benign piece, concluding nothing nefarious was afoot where the super rich and powerful play. What else happens is up to interpretation. Having said this, regardless of the take on what goes down at the Grove, there is little doubt that Newt Gingrich knows  about the group. The link is now archived, but I include it.

From The Sacramento Bee

MONTE RIO — The Bohemian Club’s Annual Summer Encampment came to a close here Sunday, ending a two-week retreat for the rich and powerful that President Herbert Hoover once called “the greatest men’s party on Earth.” The club’s famed annual gathering has been held for more than 100 years at the 2,700-acre Bohemian Grove in Monte Rio, about 70 miles north of San Francisco in Sonoma County. This year’s event drew in notables such as former President George Bush, Texas Gov. George W. Bush, Henry Kissinger, retired Gen. Colin Powell, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich and Dow Chemical Chairman Frank Popoff, as well as actor Danny Glover.

Over the years all the usual suspects have made appearances: Nixon, Clinton, Rumsfeld, Kissinger, two former C.I.A. directors (including Papa Bush), the masters of war and the oilgarchs, the Bechtels and the Basses, the board members of top military contractors—such as Halliburton, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, and the Carlyle Group—Rockefellers, Morgans, captains of industry and C.E.O.’s across the spectrum of American capitalism. The interlocking corporate web—cemented by prep-school, college, and golf-club affiliations, blood, marriage, and mutual self-interest—that makes up the American ruling class.

John Huntsman and the Virtues of Cap & Trade

Where in the world are we finding these candidates for 2012? Surely, there must be others than what has been bandied about? Looking, looking. Let us end quickly Mr. Huntsman perceived notion that he can be a presidential candidate

If former Utah governor Jon Huntsman truly resigned his post as ambassador to China to seek the GOP presidential nomination, as rumored, I think perhaps he should have given it just a little more thought:

H/T:Vernum Serum

And it gets better: over here at Hot Air

On Obama’s $787 billion stimulus: It’s easy to criticize the bill and if you don’t like it, you don’t have to take the money. It’s pretty simple.

I guess in hindsight we can all say that there were some fundamental flaws with it. It probably wasn’t large enough and, number two, there probably wasn’t enough stimulus effect. For example, a payroll tax exemption or maybe even a cut in the corporate tax…for small and medium-sized businesses for three years, for example

And then we have Newt Gingrich with Nancy Pelosi on Global Warming….

Obama‘s father and his view of ’Problems Facing Our Socialism’

Update: Newt weighs in on the piece that appeared in Forbes, as covered in our post last week, and appeared in National Review. Folks are starting to get it. For more of our stories-just type in Kenya in the Bunkerville search at  right, Lots of good stuff. Here is  Problems Facing Our Socialism.”  the article mentioned by Glenn Beck.

Obama’s Kenyan Anti-colonial World View

Gingrich says that D’Souza has made a “stunning insight” into Obama’s behavior — the “most profound insight I have read in the last six years about Barack Obama.”

“What if [Obama] is so outside our comprehension, that only if you understand Kenyan, anti-colonial behavior, can you begin to piece together [his actions]?” Gingrich asks. “That is the most accurate, predictive model for his behavior.”

“This is a person who is fundamentally out of touch with how the world works, who happened to have played a wonderful con, as a result of which he is now president,” Gingrich tells us.

“I think he worked very hard at being a person who is normal, reasonable, moderate, bipartisan, transparent, accommodating — none of which was true,” Gingrich continues. “In the Alinksy tradition, he was being the person he needed to be in order to achieve the position he needed to achieve . . . He was authentically dishonest.”

Obama in Kenya

Obama in Kenya

A great post over at the Blaze. D’Souza will be coming out with a book soon, and it should be very revealing. It has been amazing that Obama’s keen interest and involvement in Kenyan politics have received nill attention but for Bunkerville and a few other bloggers. Obama sent over Biden to shill for the new Kenyan Constitution as recently as June which by the way, supports Sharia law. OK regular readers, no links to past rants about the Kenya bit. If anyone wants to take a look.. go up to the top right in Bunkerville and type in Kenya. Lots of vids– with Obama strutting around Kenya, and supporting his cousin Odinga. Take the time to follow the embedded links below.. well worth it.

Dinesh D’Souza, the new president of The King’s College (alma mater of Blaze writer Jon Seidl), has a provocative article in Forbes entitled simply, “How Obama Thinks.” D’Souza is overflowing with insight and questions. To understand Obama’s mind, we are encouraged to look to the thinking of his father who once wrote an “important article” called “Problems Facing Our Socialism.”  the article mentioned by Glenn Beck. The anticolonial thinking of Barack Obama, Sr. is all there.  So too his socialist ambitions

The senior Obama proposed that the state confiscate private land and raise taxes with no upper limit. In fact, he insisted that “theoretically there is nothing that can stop the government from taxing 100% of income so long as the people get benefits from the government commensurate with their income which is taxed.”

D’Souza then makes the observation that we should all ponder

Remarkably, President Obama, who knows his father’s history very well, has never mentioned his father’s article. Even more remarkably, there has been virtually no reporting on a document that seems directly relevant to what the junior Obama is doing in the White House.

Newt Gingrich and Nancy Pelosi – Happy together on Global Warming

February 1, Update: WSJ rips Gingrich for defending Ethanol subsidies. Time to move on Newt:

Hot Air Newt Gingrich has been touring Iowa lately, attempting to generate interest in a run for the 2012 GOP presidential nomination, and he’s been going the traditional route of defending farm subsidies, especially for ethanol.

I heard Newt Gingrich on the Bill Bennett program this morning. Looks like he is stirring around the political waters and looking to see if anything in the political universe  includes him. I remembered that I had checked him off  as always a no, no and not to get hoodwinked by him into thinking that the  glory days of yore could be repeated by him, though I could not remember why.

Then yesterday, someone linked to an old story of ours. I took a look and thought  ah, so. So I thought a bit of refreshing the old memory banks were in order. So here is a redo… here is Newt, telling us to saddle up for the Global Warming coming our way.Enjoy.

Update: Time for the new young guns Newt. Step out of the road please.

NY 23rd District– Republican Dede drops out – Palin pulls one out!

N.Y. GOP congressional candidate Dede Scozzafava ends bid for seat important to 2010 elections approach, leaving Dem Bill Owens and Conservative Party’s Dan Hoffman. Do you hear us Newt??  Michael Steele?Dede has suspended her campaign.

Thank you American Patriots

Tea Partiers will party on Tuesday!  Sarah was the first to make this race an issue when she bucked the Republican establishment and made the headlines we needed. Will Chris Matthews get a tingle up his leg with this one??? Lets see how the MSM deals with this.

Republican state Assemblywoman Dierdre Scozzafava has suspended her campaign for upstate New York’s 23rd Congressional seat, giving a possible boost to Conservative Party nominee Doug Hoffman against Democrat Bill Owens, Fox News has confirmed.

The move comes on the heels of a new poll that showed Scozzafava had fallen behind her two competitors in a race too close.

The special election is Tuesday and political analysts believe upstate New York is a preview of the races in 2010 and 2012 as Republican leaders struggle to rebuild, redefine and regain control of Washington.

The Siena College poll has Owens picking up 36 percent of the vote, while Hoffman has 35 percent. Scozzafava has 20 percent, with nine percent of voters undecided.

It’s a turnaround from the first Siena poll on the race in September, which had Scozzafava leading, followed by Owens and Hoffman.

Scozzafava’s team pulled the plug on the campaign after viewing the Siena poll, sources told Fox News, adding that there was no pressure from the National Republican Congressional Committee or the Republican National Committee.
