Josef Mengele in the form of S. Matthew Liao: Human Engineering – Making Humans Smaller to fight Climate Change

Could We Make Humans Smaller Than Cats? Tucker Carlson covered climate change last night. It turned out to be a report with our very own Josef Mengele dressed in the cloak of a “world renown” bioethicist by the name of S. Matthew Liao.  Human Engineering is the new buzz word. If we can’t alter the earth’s changing climate in time to save us, then the better mitigation is to simply change humans. Liao spoke at the World Science Festival on June 4 2016. I include a portion of it. The full thing is out there for now on YouTube.

One thing we have learned with Covid and labs. There are a whole lot of labs fooling around with Mother Nature. To even propose these ideas of changing the size of humans, altering our genomes so we cannot eat meat, should chill us to the core. Tucker later on had physicist Koonin on to challenge the notion of the dooms day scenario of Liao. I picked up a composite clip of him and offer it today.

The latest science suggests that it is too late to prevent human-induced climate change. Technological optimists are now turning their minds to mitigation through techniques of geo-engineering, like giant space mirrors or seeding the oceans with iron to prompt carbon-absorbing algal blooms. But projects to alter the entire planet will expose all life to massive risk.

So, why not address the source of the problem and engineer humans to reduce our environmental impact and adapt? Genetic engineering could make us smaller or reduce our appetite for meat. Doses of Oxytocin could make us more sympathetic and cooperative. Such possibilities are criticised as extreme, but are they any more so than re-engineering the planet?

S. Matthew Liao is a professor of philosophy at New York Universtiy.

Genetic engineering could help solve many of the major problems of the 21st century, from eliminating certain diseases to growing more nutritious crops. At the 2016 World Science Festival, bioethicist S. Matthew Liao discussed how it could even help reduce humanity’s footprint on the planet, by making some surprising changes to the human body.

What is not spoken out loud on tape but no doubt talked about behind closed doors is the elimination of some humans totally. Why stop with just small people? We have already been through this with Margaret Sanger.

Interviewed on the Sunrise Weekend morning show, NYU Professor Matthew Liao promotes hormone treatments on children ‘when they’re small’ to close their ‘growth plates’ and thus stunt child growth. Professor Liao says this helps fight climate change since ‘larger people consume more energy than smaller people.’ Weekend Sunrise Australia

Physicist Steve Koonin Challenges Unsettled Climate Change Alarmism

It’s refreshing to get a non-hysterical perspective from a reputable source for a change instead of the babble the media and its political cohorts churn out. There are several interviews with him included. The first one is Tucker Carlson.

The best of the swamp today.

Yes, the drumbeats of false narratives are drowning out the voices of reason, observation and historical record. Racism. Pronouns. Gender. Class. Marriage. Climate “change”. Hate speech. And, God help us, Science. And many more. They ALL converge in Marxist Critical Theory. As we fight single strands of lies, every aspect of life and truth is being tightly woven into formidable bands of totalitarian encirclement.

This is why I do not think our Republic … our America has a future. It was great while it lasted, but henceforth, America will see no further greatness in any endeavor. The role of public education in this cannot, in my view, be overstated.

Completely agree! Alas, much private education – including the No. 1 private school in America (Harvard Westlake) – has all gone cuckoo. Look at the stories out of New York. $50,000 (who HAS that kind of money) a year for crapping on America. The best hope is that parents got an earful eavesdropping on their children’s education in the lockdowns. But that requires post-op actions. (1) that they are not yet infected past the point of recovery, and (2) they have the stomach and ability to continue the momentum beyond shallow temporary changes schools make to tone down their opposition to take the wind out of parents’ sails.

Mustang, that Carlin clip is as timeless today as the day it was made.

As for this twerp Liao, and people not willing to give up meat to ‘save the planet.’ just more un-informed nonsense. He – and the whole crowd running around saying this, which includes Bill Gates who is the largest private farmland owner in the U.S. – are JUST DEAD WRONG on facts of farming and nutrition. Talk to Gabe Brown and shut your mouth.

The suggestion to chemically stunt children’s growth is beyond appalling. No wonder you reference Dr. Mengele in your title.
By his logic we should applaud the extinction of ANY species – whales, bald eagles, snail darters – to make make room for the rest. Anybody with “bioethicist” after their name is damn scary.

I rather enjoy asking people who are convinced that human behavior negatively impacts the climate, “What do you know for certain — and how do you know it?” The two responses I most often get are: “Huh?” and “The science is in on this matter.” Neither response answers the question, and yet they remain convinced that what they think is true, is unquestionably true because they are told these things so often that the lie becomes a verifiable truth.

Where are they getting all this so-called truth? It comes from a cycle of lies repeated incessantly by three essential sources: classroom teachers (some of whom — far too many, in fact — are among the dumbest people on the planet), their parents (who are themselves the product of the American education system), and the media (including the Weather Channel). Lots of folks would call this “brainwashing.” I’m one of them.

I should note that the people who work at the Weather Channel are frauds. They know less about weather phenomena than most 14 year-olds but have nevertheless managed to convince people that they ARE the experts. If that’s true, we are all in trouble. Given the influence the Weather Channel has on the national narrative of climate change, this alone should convince us that human beings are NOT earth’s highest intelligence.

I do believe that “we” do some really dumb things that, when added together, contribute to our quality of life on earth. Will electric cars save us? No. Electric cars are no more than another money-making scheme for people who are clever enough to convince some (not all) of us that such vehicles will “save us.” Save us from what, exactly, no one knows. A fool and his money are soon parted. But are “we” our own worst enemy? I keep placing the word “we” in quotes because what I am suggesting is that “we” aren’t the problem. The problem is government and global consortiums who conspire to injure us and then blame us (and our behavior) for our plight.

Chernobyl wasn’t an intentional event — only very stupid — but it did have serious consequences. Here’s another example of stupidity: Let’s defoliate Vietnam by spraying cancer-causing materials on our own troops for ten or more years. I’ve written about this at Fix Bayonets.

I didn’t make that decision, and neither did you; idiots in government did that and then demanded that “we” pay for it. We’re paying for it now in terms of human suffering. Creating genetically modified human beings would appear to rank very highly on the scale of human stupidity. The very “idea is enough to make one wonder when Mr. Liao went to the critically stupid stage. My guess is, the fourth grade. How this nutjob ever made his way on “news programs” is mind-numbing. Here it is in a nutshell:

Bioethics is a treacherous course of studies. When I attended University of PA I took several Bioethics courses with Arthur Caplan who was just starting out and later became the big name in the field for some decades. I watched his career and while seeming half civilized in the beginning, his latter presentations became angry and defiant. He was right of course, always, just like Fauci and I see many similarities. The same will become of this fine fellow…. people laugh and or giggle at his presentations. I looked at many of his taped interviews yesterday, but make no mistake this is one very dangerous fellow Liao.
How well I remember the debates we had in Caplan’s classes.

I believe you, Bunks. I just wonder how a philosopher rises to the level of an expert in medicine and biological research. My essential belief is that the only contribution philosophers have ever made to the world is that they increase the white noise. If we truly cared about the planet, we would rid ourselves of philosophers as part of our “noise abatement” project. It is incredible that Liao is also an editor of the Journal of Moral Philosophy. He is, after all, immoral.

Designing humans: A human rights approach
Advances in genomic technologies such as CRISPR-Cas9, mitochondrial replacement techniques, and in vitro gametogenesis may soon give us more precise and efficient tools to have children with certain traits such as beauty, intelligence, and athleticism. In this paper, I propose a new approach to the ethics of reproductive genetic engineering, a human rights approach.

Chinese have been obsessed with miniturization of humans for decades now. Their plan was to miniturize then send trillions of Chinese on the upper atmosphere winds to the USA to be breathed in by Americans and have their lungs attacked.

The Chinese have been “experimenting” in a number of areas for the past seventy or so years. In the 1990s, the Chinese experimented on the Vietnamese by putting arsenic in baby formula mixtures. The result of this experiment was the death and suffering of thousands of Vietnamese children, but the world kept silent about it. Well, the Vietnamese did raise a fuss at the time, but it is easy to get around that in Vietnam. You just have to bribe a few officials. If there are any examples of moral corruption greater than what you’ll find in China, they exist in Vietnam. Think about this the next time you ponder fixing Chinese noodles for dinner.

The drug companies had a penchant for trying out their experimental drugs on the Vietnamese as well back in the day… I would read about it in the medical journals but it never made the news….money talks.

Actually, Mark … Biden was the first experiment on miniaturization of the human species. They started with his brain … which tends to suggest that maybe making people smaller isn’t a good idea after all.

If this clod has seen the size of a great percentage of those “dining” in a fast food restaurant he would know the way to reduce the size of humans is to put them on a treadmill or make them work for that five bucks they’re plopping down for a fifty cent hamburger. Common sense where for art though?
