Joe and Hunter Biden use Sandy Hook Memorial Service to Set Up Secret Meeting Re: Communist China Energy Deal

Joe and Hunter Biden’s corruption knows no pale as Congress continues to dump more of Hunter’s texts regarding their business dealings. This one is a 10 Million dollar a year deal with a Communist China energy group. It is getting so “ho hum” that the news barely registers on the news meter. This batch has an especially bad taste since Sandy Hooks was the setting excuse. Important things first we learn. So let’s get to it:

A new traunche of documents released by Congress reveal crackhead son Hunter Biden texted Communist Chinese business partners to arrange a meeting with Joe while they were attending a Sandy Hook Memorial Ceremony.

Cristina Laila reported on this communication earlier – Now we know Joe and Hunter were using Sandy Hook as a decoy to meet with a Chinese business leader.

Hunter Biden proposed a meeting with Yadong Liu, CEO of CEFC Global Strategic Holdings while Hunter and his dad were in Sandy Hook.

Hunter Biden: “Can you meet this evening early? My father will be in New York also and he wants me to attend the Sandy Hook memorial service with him and I would like him to meet you along with my uncle and then you and I can talk let me know if that works. I’m sorry for the late notice I got off the red eye in Baltimore from LA and take a little nap before I got his message”

Yadong Liu: “No problem. Pls let me know here and when to meet. Thanks.

Joe Biden Makes Surprise Late-Night Visit to Hallie Biden – The DOJ’s Star Witness Against Hunter Biden – 8 Days Before Gun Case Trial

I wonder what the threat was on this one:

Joe Biden made a surprise late-night visit to Hallie Biden, a witness in Hunter Biden’s gun case just 8 days before the trial is set to begin.

Recall that Hunter Biden ‘dated’ his dead brother Beau’s widow, Hallie Biden.

Hunter Biden will go on trial for his felony gun charges filed in Delaware on June 3.

Joe Biden’s spox Andrew Bates told the New York Post that Biden visited Hallie because of the approaching anniversary of his son Beau’s death.

Jim Biden, Americore, Massive Medicare Fraud and 200K for Joe – It’s All About ‘the Brand’

Textbook Biden business model: – Joe Biden meets Americore CEO – Hunter Biden meets with him too – Jim Biden, wife Sara, and son Jamie are on the Americore payroll – Joe’s personal doctor, White House physician Kevin O’Connor, joins Americore meeting with Jim Biden – Bidens make beaucoup $$$$ – Little people get hurt – “Joe knew nothing. He only talked about the weather.”

So goes the tweet by Miranda Devine.

In what has to be a read far better than any “Who dunnit.” No less than Politico lays out the latest scam discovered. So while Trump is hauled before the mast in a “No one dunnit” in a guilty finding of a charge by a judge where no crime occurred, this mockery of justice continues with one Joe Biden.

Politico:

Image

This explains why Americore sent Jim Biden a $200,000 “loan” in March 2018 that he and his wife Sara used to write this check to Joe Biden.

Miranda Devine

“Jaw dropping that Jim Biden paid Joe Biden $200k that was funded by a payment he received from Americore when, according to the SEC, it was insolvent. If this happened in Australia, or the UK, the administrator or bankruptcy trustee would aggressively recover these funds. Here, crickets.”

Image

Jim Biden got much more than 200K from Americore, then later was sued by bankruptcy trustee and compelled to return 300K. Of course, Joe got to keep the 200K phantom loan repayment.
The story continues:

The email, obtained by POLITICO from a person close to the company, documents one of the many ways in which Jim Biden invoked his brother’s name and clout in the course of his work with Americore, which has since gone bankrupt, wreaking havoc in rural communities in the process.

Jim Biden spoke of plans to give his brother equity in Americore, according to one former Americore executive, and install him on its board, according to a second. He also said that if Americore could find a winning business model for rural health care, his brother could promote the company in a future presidential campaign, a third former executive told POLITICO. All were granted anonymity to discuss a company mired in legal and political controversy

In order to fund Americore’s expansion, Jim Biden offered to secure capital from investors in the Middle East, according to the emails and executives. When the expected money did not arrive, it aggravated Americore’s preexisting financial issues. The company collapsed, leaving behind unpaid bills and neglected patients.

As the layers of activity that occurred in and around Americore are peeled back in a federal prosecution in Pennsylvania, a bankruptcy court in Kentucky, and tense witness interviews on Capitol Hill, a POLITICO investigation renders the most detailed picture to date of the ways in which Joe Biden’s relatives leveraged his public stature to advance a private business venture.

…The investigation also reveals that Joe Biden’s name and inner circle were more involved with the company than has been understood: In addition to the accounts provided by former executives, investor materials described Jim Biden as an adviser to his older brother. And on top of Joe Biden’s own previously reported encounter with the firm’s CEO, at least three of Joe Biden’s relatives did work with Americore. They include Jim Biden’s wife, Sara, and his son, Jamie. The president’s son, Hunter Biden also met with its CEO, and his personal doctor — current White House physician Kevin O’Connor — joined a meeting with Jim Biden and the president of a hospital being acquired by Americore, according to a former executive and emails obtained by POLITICO.

So the noose should be tightening. But so far the media has barely shown an interest. Except now as Politico takes a turn at looking at the corruption, one wonders if the white flag has been raised by the Dem insiders and decided it is time to dump the guy. Jim Biden is set to meet with the House on February 21st.

“The Committees seek information you possess regarding your business dealings with both Americore and James Biden, including, but not limited to, the ‘loans’ that James Biden received from the financially struggling company,” the letter, sent Thursday afternoon, reads.

Comer and Jordan have been investigating Americore and James Biden allegedly misleading the company into giving him a $600,000 loan. The committees interviewed Carol Fox, a bankruptcy trustee of the company, earlier this month, and Fox testified that James Biden promised he could leverage his last name to secure funding from the Middle East. Hearing: The Biden’s Phone Calls Were Only About The Weather

After all, the phone calls were only about the brand. Let’s try that one. Any better?

Hunter Biden’s former business partner, Devon Archer, has testified behind closed doors to the House Oversight Committee about the President’s ties to his son’s foreign business dealings, which included more than 20 calls on speaker phone with business associates.

Senator Goldman is looking forward to his next job at CNN. He is good at BS. The phone calls were just about the weather.

Whistleblower Blows the Whistle on the Bidens

The interview by Bret Baier last night told the tale. Heroes are hard to find these days. I would say this fellow is one.

Jonathan Turley summed it up in a tweet.

Consider the import of the Shapley/Baier interview. Not only did the DOJ allow the statute of limitations to run on crimes, lower the charges approved by prosecutors, and allegedly tip off the Bidens on searches, but actually allowed Hunter to evade paying taxes on hundreds of thousands of dollars from influence peddling. For the Bidens, the old adage is true: ‘I’m from the government and I’m here to help.’”

So Fox killed the full interview. Nice.. Here is one that it still out.

At some point you have to wonder – Is the GOP in on this?

If you haven’t caught this yet, it’s worth taking the time. #7 of Tucker Carlson.

Tucker Carlson: Last week, a whistleblower produced WhatsApp? Messages from Hunter Biden proving that at the very least, his father knew about his influence pedaling businesses abroad and probably participated in them…

…So a whistleblower produces a text message showing that Joe Biden was in the room with his son when his son was selling influence to an enemy power. The Chinese government and ABC’s take on it. Joe Biden is a father first, take it or leave it. What accounts for a response like that? Well, that’s the way you talk when you’ve got nothing to fear from an upcoming presidential election. You don’t even bother to think of an excuse for your candidate because you don’t need to. Your country has electronic voting machines. Joe Biden got 81,282,916 votes in 2020, and you’re pretty sure he can do it again. In fact, you know he can’t. You’re not worried,

Turley: Media Does a Victory Lap – No Ties to the Big Guy Yet with Hunter’s Corruption

Hooray! The big guy escapes yesterday’s House Oversight Committee Presser! No ten percent proof or then some. But plenty of stuff to think about. Johnathan Turley offers us a few thoughts. I include a segment from Jesse Watters program last night. He spins down memory lane and is an interesting piece.

One of my favorite writers, whose manner and style can accommodate differing points of view without being a flame thrower. His tweets yesterday were worthy of repeating.

Jonathan Turley let his thoughts be know yesterday on Fox and Twitter.

Turley:

The media is doing a virtual victory lap around a massive corruption scandal because the initial investigation only found ties to virtually everyone else in the Biden family but not yet the “Big Guy’ himself. Welcome to the Big Julie school of ethics:

The Gold Medal for spin may have to go to the New Republic. After revealing millions of dollars being filtered through 17 LLCs to nine Biden family members from foreign sources, the TNR headlined:”Republicans Finally Admit They Have No Incriminating Evidence on Joe Biden.”..

Soon to be followed by “Media Finally Admits That They Have No Journalistic Interest in Democratic Corruption.” As noted earlier, nothing will make the media see the elephant on the stage.

.. Joe Biden was the object of the influence peddling and the proceeds were allegedly distributed to family members from his brother to his grandchildren. Yet, the media is insisting that no level of corruption is newsworthy short of a confession…

Here is the thread reader from the above quotes of Turley.

A good read at Turley’s place:

The Trouble with Hunter: President Biden Repeats Claim that his Son Has “Done Nothing Wrong”

….

In the interview, Biden declared “My son has done nothing wrong. I trust him. I have faith in him, and it impacts my presidency by making me feel proud of him.”

As with media over the last four years, MSNBC’s Stephanie Ruhle did not challenge the clearly absurd statement. Instead, she prefaced her question by stressing that there are “no ties to you” in any of his son’s alleged crimes. That is of course ignoring the mounting evidence of influence peddling, repeated references to the involvement of the president, and reports of a whistleblower alleging the President’s involvement in a bribery scheme.

However, it was Ruhle’s shrug to Biden’s claim that was the most glaring part of the low-risk interview. There is, of course, much that Hunter did “wrong.” Let’s just rattle off a few notable examples.

……

However, the biggest “wrong” is the one that Biden does not want to acknowledge because the President was the object of the wrongful conduct.

Influence Peddling

Both the Bidens and the media are eager to tie off the Hunter Biden controversy, even with the necessity of a narrow criminal indictment or plea. The hope is that a plea could be used to declare the matter closed without having to address millions of dollars reportedly generated in one of the most flagrant influence-peddling operations in history.

Here is a related post based on the above post by Jonathan Turley with several clips posted at Fox.

Joe Biden says Hunter has done ‘nothing wrong.’ Really? Let’s count the ways

Putting aside any collateral crimes, however, influence peddling is still a form of corruption. Hunter Biden, his uncle James, and other Biden family members are implicated in receiving massive payments from foreign “clients” seeking to influence thenVice President Joe Biden.

The spin has already begun as pundits and press repeat over and over again that influence peddling is not a crime. It is true that it is not a crime in itself, but it is common for criminal acts to be committed in carrying out or concealing such influence peddling.

It may be the favorite form of corruption in Washington, but it is still corrupt. It is still, in the president’s words, “wrong.”

I do not fault President Biden for defending his son. However, to paraphrase the common statement on sin, you can hate the wrong and love the wrongdoer.

I don’t usually watch Jesse Watters on Fox. I did last night just to see the reaction to the hearing. It was a good one with good highlights of the hearing.

Fox News host Jesse Watters reacts to new claims the Biden family profited from foreign contacts on ‘Jesse Watters Primetime.’

Joe Biden and his National Emergency Nonsense

Biden who can’t even fix the baby formula issue with his Executive Order as a National Emergency is going to usher in the Green New Deal for all of us. One of the most offensive players in his bevy of Marxist’s collaborators is this piece of work Gina McCarthy.

President Joe Biden climate advisor Gina McCarthy said President Joe Biden will use “every power available” to get rid of fossil fuels, during a segment on CNN’s “New Day” with Kaitlan Collins, John Berman, and Brianna Keilar on 7/20/2022

And with that this doddering old fool:

Politico reports:

Invoking a national emergency over climate change would enable President Joe Biden to unleash sweeping actions to restrain greenhouse gas production — such as banning U.S. crude oil exports, ending offshore drilling or speeding the manufacturing of electric vehicles.

But some of those steps would be politically explosive, and could even prove ruinous to his party’s fortunes by sending gasoline prices soaring. Others would threaten to alienate European allies looking to U.S. fuel supplies to ease their dependence on Russia. And any executive actions Biden takes would run the risk of falling to the same conservative Supreme Court that has already hobbled his regulators’ ability to rein in carbon pollution.

Thank goodness for the Donald that at least got us a Supreme court that gave the U.S.A. a bit of time remaining.

Gina McCarthy Reacts to Supreme Court EPA Ruling: ‘We Have To Find Creative Ways Around It’

White House National Climate Advisor Gina McCarthy joins Andrea Mitchell to respond to the Supreme Court’s decision to restrict the EPA’s authority to limit climate pollution by power plants, sharing what can be still done at the federal and state level to combat the climate crisis.

Politico reports:

Fallout from the Supreme Court’s attack on federal climate regulations is spreading throughout the executive branch, creating legal uncertainty for rules on topics as far afield as abortion, immigration and even amateur auto racing.

Opponents of federal actions on pipelines, asbestos, nuclear waste, corporate disclosures and highway planning are also seizing on the logic of the court’s June 30 decision, which imposed sharp limits on the Environmental Protection Agency’s authority to regulate greenhouse gases.

Imagine if climate change used to be called seasons and it’s totally normal, safe, and changes four times a year.

Here is this absurd man telling us total nonsense.

Biden Corruption : Tony Bobulinski, Hunter’s Business partner spilled it all

Now that the New York Times has given its blessing as to the truth of the “Laptop from Hell” of Hunter Biden, it’s time to open up this can of worms full bore. Especially now that Ukraine is in our living room every single day and night. The Biden truth was all out there before the election. Actually before the laptop discovery. For those who are playing “catch up” here is last night’s Tucker Carlson. Then we will get to his business partner Tony Bobulinski.

Columnist Miranda Devine says it’s ‘delicious’ to watch the media ‘squirm’ over reality on ‘Tucker Carlson Tonight.’

The cast of characters in this bad movie now takes on a new illumination when we see the individuals up close and personal. Porshenko for one. He is giving interviews, beating the drum for support from the world. Yet just a few years ago he was given a “big ask” to fire the prosecutor who was chasing down Biden and company and the corruption. What better way to celebrate the Biden corruption news then to return to the man who was a business partner with Hunter Biden.

Tony Bobulinski. October 2020, just before the election. Bobulinski was giving up the goods just as the New York Post was doing. He was lucky not to give up more than that and he lived to tell about it. So let’s get started.

The New York Post initially published emails in October, which were later obtained by Fox News, related to Hunter Biden’s business dealings with CEFE and a Ukrainian energy firm that were purportedly discovered on a laptop belonging to Hunter Biden.

Tony Bobulinski, a former business associate of Hunter Biden, claimed in an interview Tuesday that the Biden family shrugged off concerns that Joe Biden’s alleged ties to his son’s business deals could put a future presidential campaign at risk.

Bobulinski, in an interview with Fox News’ “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” said he raised concerns in 2017 to the former vice president’s brother Jim Biden, about Joe Biden’s alleged ties to a possible joint venture with a Chinese energy firm.

Bobulinski, a retired lieutenant in the U.S. Navy, was the former CEO of SinoHawk Holdings, which he said was the partnership between the CEFC Chairman Ye Jianming and the two Biden family members.

“I remember saying, ‘How are you guys getting away with this?’ ‘Aren’t you concerned?’” he told Carlson.

He claims that Jim Biden chuckled.

“‘Plausible Deniability,’ he said it directly to me in a cabana at the Peninsula Hotel,” he said.

The Senators were on the case as well.

Senator Johnson’s report lays it out with the Biden corruption. Not long and with lots of good exhibits. A one pager with links to the full report. Go for it. The media remained silent.

Johnson, Grassley Release Report on Conflicts-of-Interest Investigation

WASHINGTON — U.S. Senators Ron Johnson (R-Wis.), chairman of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, and Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa), chairman of the Senate Finance Committee, released a report that revealed millions of dollars in questionable financial transactions between Hunter Biden and his associates and foreign individuals, including the wife of the former mayor of Moscow and individuals with ties to the Chinese Communist Party.

These were just some of the findings from their investigation into potential conflicts of interest arising from Hunter Biden accepting a position on the board of, and taking millions of dollars from, Burisma, a Ukrainian energy company with a long-standing reputation for corruption, while his father, Joe Biden, was vice president and the public face of the Obama administration’s handling of Ukraine policy.

A copy of the full report is available here.

Copies of the investigation’s interview transcripts and exhibits are available here.

Tony Bobulinski joins Tucker Carlson to discuss his alleged dealings with Hunter and Joe Biden. Posted October 2020.

Fox news and Youtube have taken down the second portion of the interview.

One can only wonder how this corruption effects the decisions the administration regarding Ukraine. The bizarre activity of Russia negotiating on the United States behalf regarding Iran’s nuclear deal. The strange agreement details that are hard to even imagine being considered. Then there is China. It really is hard to believe that Biden is not being blackmailed.

Then one wonders why this story comes out in the New York Times yesterday. Why now did they have the epiphany to disclose their new found opinion. Has the coup begun to replace Biden? That this will lead to an impeachment? That “they” will force him to resign? The IRS is still on Hunter’s tale. Questions are being raised as to who gave him the million bucks to pay off his IRS debt. Was that the set up? I bet so… follow the money…. All good questions.

“Plausible deniability”

Jill Biden: We’re Bringing Love From America’

This should cheer the cockles of Putin’s heart. Good to set the tone for Biden’s European debut on the world’s stage for the first time as President. Letting the NATO folks slide on their “fair share” dues because we feel the love again, as well as pushing the Climate change nonsense will be on the docket. But if we wondered who was wearing the pants and pulling Joe’s strings wonder no more.

The first lady said she wanted people to “feel a sense of unity for all the countries and feel a sense of hope after this year of the pandemic.” So she went for the classy look with the oh so chichi look. Rock on Jill. That’s Dr. Jill to us.

Biden: “global warming” is the greatest threat to America

Image

Sen. Kevin Cramer, R-N.D., asked Milley about Biden’s comments about global warming being America’s greatest threat.

Milley replied that climate change has had a significant effect on military operations that must be considered.

“Climate change is going to impact natural resources, for example,” he said. “It’s going to impact increased instability in various parts of the world. It’s going to impact migrations, and so on.”

He said there is no difference of opinion between himself and Biden when it comes to taking climate change as a serious threat.

“The president is looking at [potential threats] at a much broader angle than I am,” Milley said. “I’m looking at it from a strictly military standpoint and, from a strictly military standpoint, I’m putting China and Russia up there. That is not, however, in conflict with the acknowledgment that climate change, or infrastructure, or education systems — national security has a broad angle to it.”  Read more

The Enemy of My Enemy

An Introduction to Chinese Checkers

by Mustang

Recently, Mr. Schweizer wrote about China’s Dragon Ships — a massive increase in Chinese navy shipbuilding. Despite Wikipedia’s warning about Peter Schweizer — that he’s a contributor to the far right media organization Breitbart News — I enjoy his articles.  They are well-researched and convey useful information in a well-organized and highly articulate manner.

Among his pearls are —

  • The Chinese Navy has replaced the USN as the world’s largest
  • China’s goal, in developing such a large navy is (a) to intimidate and threaten the economic security of Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, Thailand, and Indonesia, and (b) lay claim to the entire South China Sea as a Chinese sovereign territory
  • China’s push for nuclear powered ships reflects a longer-term goal of challenging the US and other navies around the world
  • China’s shipbuilding behavior will only get worse unless the US challenges China through diplomatic and economic penalties.

I think Mr. Schweizer did a good job in his article up until his final point.  Economic and diplomatic penalties imposed on China have never worked.  This bears repeating.  There is nothing more useless than a law that cannot be enforced, or a foreign policy that has no effect.

So if we agree that the imposition of trade restrictions on China — or diplomatic consequences (and I cannot imagine what these might entail) — have no effect, why bother?  It makes you wonder, “Well, then, what else could the US do to challenge China?”

Beyond my reading of Chinese history and the product of the so-called China Watchers for a few decades, I am no expert.  I can say that Chinese frequently demonstrate their craftiness, and more often than not to the detriment of US foreign and trade policies (which reflects more the ineptness of American diplomats than it does on the cleverness of Chinese thinking).  As but one example, America’s involvement in the Vietnam War was entirely the brain-child of Chou En-Lai … whose trap we walked into with both eyes open.

All that aside, what could the Americans do to challenge China?

  • We could increase our naval construction program.  This is easier said than done, particularly since the US cannot bank on revenues if it intends to keep the American economy in lockdown mode.  China could more or less assure our continued lockdown by introducing yet another virus into the United States — which shouldn’t be too hard since every week, 3,881 flights arrive in the US from China.  Snap!  A robust US naval construction effort would entail more sailors (more financial outlays), but of course we cannot do that and provide unrestrained and un-budgeted-for economic stimulus programs to the American people.

  • The balance of power in East Asia may involve more than issues of naval supremacy; Japan, for example, purchases most of its rice from Vietnam.  We might encourage our Asian allies to pursue a more robust naval construction program — but that would only work if our Asian allies perceived the Chinese navy as a significant threat to their economic interests.  Otherwise, from their perspective, there would be no justification for increasing their spending on naval/military hardware.  Note: looking back in time, maybe FDR should have backed Japan against China in the 1930s.

  • I suppose the US could simply stop trading with China, although the fact is that if the US did impose an embargo on all Chinese made goods, it would only account for $106-billion (annually)… a drop in the bucket as a percentage of China’s GDP.  Plus, should we really send Wal-Mart into bankruptcy?

  • There is always the option of not challenging China’s naval activities at all.  Should the US really care about this — enough to spend billions we don’t have on naval construction — when China’s strategy may very well be the exact same thing we did to the former-Soviet Union, which was to drive the Soviets into economic oblivion?

  • Finally, the US might consider an ambitious campaign to convince Americans that Chinese noodles are deliciously nutritious.

Greg Poling, Director of the Asia Maritime Transparency Initiative at the Center for Strategic and International Studies organization seems to agree with me, recently stating, “The South China Sea isn’t a military problem and has no military (naval) solutions.  All the force investments in the world won’t matter if the US fails to impose enough diplomatic and economic costs to alter Chinese behavior.”

Of course, Mr. Poling probably has more confidence in America’s diplomatic corps than I do.  I cannot find one single “clever” thing the US State Department has done in the past 120 years that didn’t end up costing the American people needless loss of life or an increase in the loss of disposable income.

The enemy of my enemy is my friend is a concept suggesting that other governments who live in fear of China might become worthwhile American allies.  I laugh.

Our “friends” would expect that the USA subsidize their naval construction efforts, while at the same time increasing our trade deficits with them as part of the bargain.  It makes me want to question the wisdom of wasting time trying to create any worthwhile anti-Chinese alliances.

By the way, the title expression originated in India in the fourth century before the common era.  It may not actually apply to this perceived Chinese threat since the US has no worthwhile friends and all of our former allies should have learned their lessons by now.

Still, I wonder … what do the commenters at Bunkerville think?

Joe Biden: ‘China not bad folks, not competition to us’

Of course let us not forget Biden in February before announcing his candidacy did the bend over thing in Europe.

Joe Biden goes to Europe and blasts America – Calls the U.S. an ’embarrassment’

Speaking to European allies, Biden trashed America with an open hostility.

“The America I see values basic human decency, not snatching children from their parents or turning our back on refugees at our border. Americans know that’s not right,” Biden asserted.

“The American people understand plainly that this makes us an embarrassment. The American people know, overwhelmingly, that it is not right. That it is not who we are.”
