Joe Biden, the gift that keeps on giving if the media would only report his positions. Robert Gates spelled it out in his memoir written a few years ago, “I think he (Biden) has been wrong on nearly every major foreign policy and national security issue over the past four decades,” It looks like Joe is still fumbling along.
The latest are his remarks made yesterday on the stump.
Former Vice President Joe Biden downplayed the Chinese threat to the American economy during a campaign event in Iowa City, Iowa on 5/1/19.
Former Defense Secretary Robert Gates did Vice President Joe Biden and his presidential ambitions no favors in offering a summary of the politician’s foreign policy instincts.
“I think he has been wrong on nearly every major foreign policy and national security issue over the past four decades,” Gates wrote of Biden in his book, Duty: Memoirs of a Secretary at War, according to the New York Times.
That stings, especially in light of the fact that President Obama picked Biden as his 2008 running mate in order to “add foreign policy expertise to the ticket,” as the Times put it. oversight of Iraq policy after Obama took office was also Biden’s responsibility.
- Hunter Biden inked a billion-dollar deal with a subsidiary of the Chinese government’s Bank of China just 10 days after the father and son flew to China in 2013.
Of course let us not forget Biden in February before announcing his candidacy did the bend over thing in Europe.
Speaking to European allies, Biden trashed America with an open hostility.
“The America I see values basic human decency, not snatching children from their parents or turning our back on refugees at our border. Americans know that’s not right,” Biden asserted.
“The American people understand plainly that this makes us an embarrassment. The American people know, overwhelmingly, that it is not right. That it is not who we are.”
Speak for yourself Joe.
