Let’s see what mischief our fellow earthlings have gotten themselves into this week. It’s Saturday and time for a break and maybe a smile or two.
Animals and people steal the show this week..

Sarcastic Fringehead Fights For Territory | Life | BBC Earth
The sarcastic fringehead plays no games when it comes to defending its territory, making it a particularly quarrelsome neighbour.
That’s all folks. Have a wonderful day.

Com’on, Bunk. I have 4 lbs. of venison in my freezer. 🙂
Don’t know which cat scared me the most: the one batting at the croc or chasing the bear!
That hemp making – wonder WHERE they still do it, or if it’s a demonstration village. In days of yore (before they had colonies) the Brits sourced an uncomfortable amount of key naval supplies from Russia. Every summer the fleet would sail to Murmansk to do business. In southern Russia peasants had cottage businesses making hemp rope, and they’d trek north every summer to meet the fleet and sell their wares.

4 lbs… getting down there… Here in PA it seems there is some sort of season once fall starts. We always had the first day of deer session for rifle off.
I wondered too about the hemp..interesting..thanks.

Hemp came to this country before Jamestown. It was widely promoted as a great crop for many things, including paper, oil and rope, in early America. George Washington grew it.

PS. I get my venison from https://mauinuivenison.com/ who employs “stress free harvesting” to reduce the numbers of the very tasty Axis deer who now overpopulate Hawaii and have become a pest. Not a very redneck “hunter” but what did you expect here in the middle of Soviet Monica? 🙂
