I.T. Awan lawyers up with Clinton’s lawyer, Debbie W. Swartz’s brother U.S. Attorney overseeing investigation

The U.S. attorney who’s going to be overseeing the federal criminal fraud investigation into Pakistan-born Imran Awan, the Muslim IT spy hired by Democrat Debbie Wasserman Schultz in 2005 to serve her congressional colleagues’ offices, is none other than — Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s brother.More at Pamela Geller

Chris Gowen, Imran Awan’s lawyer, is a long-time campaigner for former President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and a member of an attorney team that brought a fraudulent lawsuit against energy giant Chevron.

Politico reported the criminal probe concerned “serious, potentially illegal, violations on the House IT network.”

Gowen is a founding partner of Gowen, Rhoades, Winograd and Silva law firm, with offices in Washington, D.C., and Philadelphia, Penn.Conservative Review — which first reported Gowen’s extensive Clinton connections Wednesday — said they also include work for the Clinton Foundation and its Clinton Global Initiative and the Clinton Health Access Initiative.

His official bio on the firm’s web site notes that he “left the Public Defender’s office to work for former President William Jefferson Clinton and then-Senator Hillary Clinton. Chris was a fact checker for President Clinton’s memoir, My Life.”

“He also served as a traveling aid for President Clinton’s national and international trips. Chris finished his tenure with the Clintons by directing the advance operations for then-Senator Hillary Clinton during her 2008 presidential campaign.”

Gowen described Awan’s arrest as “clearly a right-wing media-driven prosecution by a United States Attorney’s Office that wants to prosecute people for working while Muslim.”

Debbie Wasserman Schultz employed Pakistani IT staffers and brothers who were paid over $4 million dollars over the course of their employment even though they were accused of a cyber-security breach.

Imran Awan was arrested as he attempted to flee the U.S. after wiring approximately $300,000 to Pakistan. Fox News is the only cable network covering this huge scandal.  When Imran Awan was arrested he was carrying $12,000 in cash on him. His wife was carrying $12,000 of cash when she fled the country too.

Word has it that Debbie Wasserman Schultz is an absolute wreck since Imran Awan was arrested. Calls for her to testify to Congress are increasingly growing as well.

Wasserman Schultz knows she’s in hot water over this IT scandal. The Gateway Pundit previously reported the FBI seized smashed hard drives belonging to Imran Awan. Also reported that Debbie Wasserman Schultz, threatened the chief of the U.S. Capitol Police with ‘consequences’ for holding equipment that she says belonged to her in order to build a criminal case against a Pakistani IT staffer suspected of massive cybersecurity breaches.

How many in Congress are being blackmailed by IT Imran Awan?

Back in May, I posted many of these questions. Knowing what we know now, the questions seem even more pertinent. Are congress members being blackmailed by IT breach?

We learn that Schultz kept this fine fellow on the payroll up until the day after he was arrested this week. For some reason, this is not going to end well for a couple of Congressmen.

Then we had this:

As part of the investigation Debbie Wasserman Schulz’s laptop was taken as evidence. Needless to say, she is not happy and she wants her computer back. So much so that she made a veiled threat to the Capitol Police Chief which was caught on video. Here is said video, the relevant part starts at the 2:43 mark:

Wasserman Schultz told a police chief there would be “consequences” if he didn’t hand over her ex-IT staffer’s computer over to her. 

Congressional technology aides are baffled that data-theft allegations against four former House IT workers — who were banned from the congressional network — have largely been ignored, and they fear the integrity of sensitive high-level information.

Five Capitol Hill technology aides told The Daily Caller News Foundation’s Investigative Group that members of Congress have displayed an inexplicable and intense loyalty towards the suspects who police say victimized them. The baffled aides wonder if the suspects are blackmailing representatives based on the contents of their emails and files, to which they had full access.

“I don’t know what they have, but they have something on someone. It’s been months at this point” with no arrests, said Pat Sowers, who has managed IT for several House offices for 12 years. “Something is rotten in Denmark.

“There’s no question about it: If I was accused of a tenth of what these guys are accused of, they’d take me out in handcuffs that same day, and I’d never work again,” he said.

A House IT employee who requested anonymity said tech workers who have taken over some of those offices found that computers in some — but not all — offices were “thin clients” that sent all data to an offsite server in violation of House policies. Additionally, staffers’ iPhones were all linked to a single non-government iTunes account.

The investigation goes far beyond the theft of millions of dollars. The employees could read all emails dozens of members of Congress sent and received, as well as access any files members and their staff stored. Court records show the brothers ran a side business that owed $100,000 to an Iranian fugitive who has been tied to Hezbollah, and their stepmother says they often send money to Pakistan.

Wolf Management 101 – Guest post by Mustang

 

Washington is a pack of wolves.  There are several species of wolf, of course … but for simplicity sake, let’s just pretend there are only a few.  Nevertheless, despite different species, all wolves behave in the same way.  They are hunters looking to bring down and consume the weakest of their prey.

How we perceive these wolves is interesting.  For example, if one happens to be a western rancher who suffers the loss of one of his cattle, it makes perfect sense that this westerner would form a low opinion of wolves —but no matter what the rancher thinks, the truth is that the wolf is pure of heart.  He is only doing what wolves do.  A wolf pack may have killed and eaten a cow, but it did not break into the rancher’s house and steal his stereo or his wife’s jewelry.

We may apply the same analogy to describe Washington’s beltway shenanigans, where there are several species of wolves (Democrats, Republicans, Independents, journalists, lobbyists, bureaucrats).  They too are pure of blackest heart —seeking out the weakest of their prey.  I can even hear howling in the background.

This leads me to wonder, if Donald Trump has a mission to drain the swamp, and if he understands that the swamp is populated with wolves, why isn’t he arming himself?

• Even supposing that Jeff Sessions resigns as Attorney General, does Mr. Trump imagine there will be no consequences from Sessions’ friends, allies, or even those of another political species who hates Sessions guts but sees an advantage in attacking Trump?  Is Mr. Trump so starved for attention?
• Even supposing it is true that CNN and MSNBC behave themselves as something less than journalists, does Trump enhance his position, or detract from it, by hounding these people as news fakers?  (For the record, I can’t think of anything lower on the food chain than a journalist).  Why not starve the news fakers to death rather than giving them something to feast on every single day?
• One must also wonder how to deal with wolves most effectively.  Is it by behaving as they do, running around baying at the moon, or by using high caliber weapons to dispatch them into wolf Valhalla?

There is something of Mr. Trump that we just don’t need: a daily dose of school-yard immaturity.  But there is also much about Trump that this country desperately needs —and why he was elected to the nation’s highest office.  We need him to address the wolves because they have become far too over-populated, because that is what Mr. Trump promised to do, and why the people elected him.  If he has a problem with Jeff Sessions, address it privately, as a gentleman, and then get on with the business of state-craft.

I understand that we can’t allow Mr. Trump to actually shoot these wolves, but he can damn-well starve them to death.  I hope he’s reading Bunkerville and thus gaining such phenomenal free advice.

Does Bernie Sanders steal his neighbor’s Washington Post?

So it looks like our Commie Bernie  has long fingers. He got kicked out of a commune for being lazy. I guess our multi-home Sanders can’t afford the paper:

Sticky-fingered socialist Bernie Sanders is apparently stealing his neighbor’s Washington Post subscription, as any good socialist might do.

In perhaps the funniest and most fitting news of the year, WMAL radio host Chris Plante told his audience of a story he’s heard about the elderly senator from friends. A man living next to Sanders apparently called the Post to complain that he was hardly ever receiving his subscription. After an investigation into the matter took place, it was realized by the paying customer that it was his neighbor, Senator Sanders, who was stealing the paper right from under his nose. Daily Wire

Somali cop who killed Aussie Woman fast tracked, had only seven months training

Lest we forget…Somali Cop who pumped two to three bullets into one of the bright lights on this earth, was in an accelerated cadet training program. Included is a video of Justine Damond rescuing ducklings just a few weeks before she was slaughtered.

The Minneapolis police officer who fatally shot an unarmed Australian woman graduated from the city’s accelerated police cadet program.

Officer Mohamed Noor graduated in 2015 after the seven month training program, which is a quicker, nontraditional route to policing aimed at helping those who already have a college degree enter law enforcement, The Star Tribune reported. (Noor did not have a degree in Criminal Justice, the usual route.)

The 31-year-old police officer was fast tracked into his role through the city’s accelerated cadet program.

The seven-month training program is designed for applicants already with a college degree, with recipients receiving tuition for Hennepin Technical College to complete their studies. More at the Daily Mail

Justine Damond : video shows murdered Aussie rescuing ducklings near Minneapolis home

Weeks before she was shot dead by Minneapolis police the Australian, also known as Justine Ruszczyk, was filmed reuniting a family of stranded ducks

When reporters asked friends and family for stories about Justine Damond, many of them asked: “Have you heard about the ducks?”

Three weeks before she was shot dead by police Damond, a 40-year-old Australian climbed into a storm drain and rescued a group of ducklings near her home in Minneapolis by gathering them in the folds of her skirt. The way her friends tell it, this incident was special but not atypical.

The Gobi is the largest desert region in Asia and the fifth largest desert in the world. It occupies an arc of land 1,000 mi (1,609 km) long and 300600 mi (5001,000 km) wide, with an estimated area of 500,000 sq mi (1,300,000 sq km). The Gobi stretches across huge portions of both Mongolia and China. Much of the Gobi is not sandy but is covered with bare rock.
The Gobi is most notable in history as part of the great Mongol Empire, and as the location of several important cities along the Silk Road.
The Gobi is a cold desert, and it is not uncommon to see frost and occasionally snow on its dunes. Besides being quite far north, it is also located on a plateau roughly 9101,520 meters (3,0005,000 ft) above sea level, which further contributes to its low temperatures. An average of approximately 194 millimeters (7.6 in) of rain falls per year in the Gobi. Additional moisture reaches parts of the Gobi in winter as snow is blown by the wind from the Siberian Steppes. These winds cause the Gobi to reach extremes of temperature ranging from 40°C (-42°F) in winter to +50°C (122°F) in summer. The Gobi is supposed to be the most harshest place on Earth.
The population density is small, fewer than three persons per square mile (one per square km), mostly Mongols with Han Chinese in Inner Mongolia. The main occupation of the inhabitants is nomadic cattle raising, though agriculture is predominant in regions where the Chinese are concentrated. DOJ indicts 15 in ‘Chop Chop’ for eagles, fails to charge against sale of baby parts

In this grisly story, we learn that the DOJ apparently is more concerned about the sale of illegal bird body parts than parts of aborted babies even thought they are ten times more valuable:

The Trump Department of Justice (DOJ) has yet to respond to letters from the chairs of congressional committees that made criminal referrals regarding allegations that Planned Parenthood and its partners in the biomedical procurement industry profited from the sale of the body parts of aborted babies.

In a stunning contrast, however, the DOJ has indicted 15 individuals for illegally trafficking the body parts of eagles and other migratory birds.

In April, following a two-year undercover operation known as Project Dakota Flyer, the U.S. Attorney’s office in South Dakota announced the indictments of 15 individuals for illegally trafficking eagle body parts.

The indictments in the eagle body parts trafficking cases are based on “the sale and purchase of wildlife with a market value in excess of $350,” while the CMP videos and the congressional committees showed StemExpress to be selling the body parts of aborted babies from Planned Parenthood for prices in excess of $500.

In one exhibit, the House Select Panel’s investigation highlighted the fees paid for the baby body parts by the procurement businesses to the abortion clinics, and then the fees charged by the procurement businesses to their customers for those same parts.

“The records subpoenaed by Congress show Planned Parenthood making ten times more money off of baby body parts than the amounts that got the eagle traffickers indicted, and companies like StemExpress sell aborted baby body parts from Planned Parenthood at prices far higher than the eagle body parts traffickers are charged with,” Daleiden explains to Breitbart News.

In the illegal eagle trafficking cases, U.S. Attorney Seiler accused the defendants of a lack of reverence for the eagles – a national symbol.

‘‘There was no cultural sensitivity,” he said. “There was no spirituality.’’
