Here is something different for a Sunday Respite. There was nothing better than a Clint Eastwood Western back in the day.
On January 2018, the Danish Broadcasting Corporation (DR) hosted three orchestral concerts called ‘Duellen – Morricone trækker først’ (The Dual – Morricone draws first) which included some of the soundtrack from various western and gangster movies.
This is their version of some of the music from the western classic: The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. The concert was hosted by Kristian Leth and conducted by Sarah Hicks. The performance was orchestrated by The Danish National Symphony Orchestra (DR Symfoniorkester) with help from The Danish Concert Choir (DR Koncertkoret).
It reminds us how much the sound track brings to a film.
