Bombshells at IG Horowitz hearing on second day

Believe it or not, I endured the entire hearing yesterday. My big take away was that there were at least 15 IG staff members as well as Horowitz that “together” came to the stated conclusion of the report of no bias that many of us find unbelievable. It appears there are drafts.

My other take away was that Horowitz only had access to those individuals available. No subpoenas were issued. Thus how could any conclusion be determined as to bias? It was pointed out that those questioned could have had the same bias of that of Strzok and Page.

YouTube has the full Gowdy hearing statements. Well worth going there and listen to the full thing. He did good. Zero Hedge has some good highlights, wander over to their place for the goodies, here are a few:

While Monday’s testimony by Horowitz and FBI Director Christopher Wray was certainly eye-opening – Congressional Investigators uncovered several game-changing bombshells on Tuesday that will re-frame the entire discussion. Hat-tip to Paul Sperry for reporting these stunning developments in real time.  Zero Hedge

    • There were no actual subjects of the Hillary Clinton email investigation, meaning that neither Hillary nor any of her top aides – including Huma Abedin and the IT guys who set up her illegal server and then used “bleachbit” to destroy evidence (for which they received immunity) – were ever under any direct FBI scrutiny. Horowitz found this “surprising.”

There is at least one and possibly more original drafts of the OIG report, which were subsequently redlined by DOJ/FBI higher-ups.

  • Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ) has sent a formal letter to Horowitz requesting “the various drafts of the report, particularly the draft provided to the DOJ and FBI, before those agencies made any changes to the draft report.”

  • Horowitz is investigating allegations that FBI officials “edited” agents’ 302 forms – which doument an interview with a suspect or a witness.

A highlight of the hearing:

Trey Gowdy, Judge Napalitano flip on Trump – ‘Mueller doing it by the book’

MSNBC via Morning Joe and Mika, CNN, CBS, et al, were ecstatic with the Trey Gowdy road show. He is making the rounds on TV with his take on the Mueller investigation.

Mueller is “following the book” with his investigation so he says.

Gowdy is packing up his swamp bags this year and calling it a day as far as Congress goes. Just setting himself up for the usual big bucks to follow. Gowdy.

I thought he was one of the good guys. But then, that is what I thought about Sessions. Even worse, Napalitano was more than happy to flip as well.  His comment that Gowdy had seen  the documents apparently thus changed his mind, when in fact nothing was produced last Friday. Just the Swamps view of the world.

Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.) recently suggested the FBI did nothing wrong when it used at least one government informant to secretly collect information on Donald Trump’s presidential campaign.

Public reports indicate, however, that Gowdy never even reviewed the relevant documents on the matter subpoenaed by Congress. In fact, a spokeswoman for Gowdy told The Federalist that the congressman doesn’t even know what documents and records were subpoenaed by the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI).

The briefing Gowdy and other lawmakers attended was scheduled at the behest of the White House after the Department of Justice (DOJ) obstructed the subpoena.

Activists and journalists were thrilled with Gowdy’s comments exonerating the FBI, claiming they “debunked” any concerns that people have about FBI behavior. CNN’s Manu Raju claimed, without providing evidence, that Gowdy had “seen the intel.”

Here we have Napolitano on Gowdy’s disputing of Trump’s ‘spygate’ claims. Included clips from the field day the MSM is having with it.

I guess we knew this was coming. Earlier this year:

Is Trey Gowdy Trump’s Brutus? Just launched investigation into Porter

House Oversight Committee to investigate Rob Porter scandal

Now we have found Brutus? The House Oversight Committee has launched an investigation into the scandal involving former White House Staff Secretary Rob Porter, committee chairman … Elijah Cummings (D-Md.), the committee’s ranking member, called for a review of the security clearance process in a letter to Gowdy the day after .. so goes the headline….

I have added an interview Gowdy did with CNN. Why does Gowdy feel the need to go after a pick of Trump? Mr. Purity -what do they have on you?

Many of us bloggers wondered why the story

Uranium One Informant spills the beans yesterday to congress, no recording taken

Guess who is chair of the Committee and the members? Guess who is retiring? The likely suspects?

  • Trey Gowdy, South Carolina, Chair.
  • Jimmy Duncan, Tennessee.
  • Darrell Issa, California.
  • Jim Jordan, Ohio.
  • Mark Sanford, South Carolina.
  • Justin Amash, Michigan.
  • Paul Gosar, Arizona.
  • Scott DesJarlais, Tennessee.

I will let you connect the dots….. Gowdy has been on Trump’s tail and throwing him under the bus all week, why?

P.S. On a personal note, starting to feel a bit better, thanks for the well wishes!

Clinton: ‘The server will remain private because I decreed it’

Anyone who missed Pant Suits yesterday give her spin on why she is so special that no one dare question her was in for a treat. The whole presser is out there, but I think this one sums it up completely. I have to give the press credit. There were a few who were willing to ask real questions. For some reason I don’t think Trey Gowdy may be in agreement.

The attitude on this video is just astonishing. She was shaking her head so much in response to the question about deleting emails, I thought her head was going to spin completely around. Of course, she then admitted she had done just that to about half of her emails. Of course, only the “private” ones…

She claimed all the server has on it now is her private emails with her husband. So the “server will remain private”.

Of course, Bill’s spokesman just said he doesn’t send email, that he’s only sent two in his life, while he was president.
