Brennan: Trump Has ‘Toxic Influence And Impact On The Republican Party’

Flying under the radar is John Brennan peddling his latest lies in the form of a book. I won’t check Amazon to see how it is doing. Enough is known that he and his cohorts had the fix in to destroy Trump since the day he went down the elevator in Trump Tower.

“I couldn’t take it anymore. I felt physically nauseated watching and listening to him,” Brennan writes in his new memoir, Undaunted: My Fight Against America’s Enemies, At Home And Abroad. Brennan left home for the gym to blow off steam, only to see Trump’s remarks repeated on the television screens as he rode a stationary bike.

I find this exceptionally annoying as the DOJ and FBI and CIA are doing all they can to obfuscate the truth of what has to be the worst political scandal in our Nation’s history. John McCain? Oh he really was an American hero big time as he peddled the Russia Russia Russia dossier.

John Brennan, former Director of the CIA, tells Lawrence O’Donnell that Republican senators like Mitch McConnell and Lindsey Graham “continue to carry out Donald Trump’s wishes” as they betray “their obligations to their constituents and to this country,” making this election the most important of Brennan’s lifetime.

As for the debate? Lies lies and more lies from the Democrats. You are welcome to opine on it in the comment section.

Other than that, all is swell in the swamp.

John Dingell now moves to Sainthood after Trump’s comment

92-year-old John Dingell dunked on celebrities, ridiculed Trump and became a Twitter favorite

John Dingell

Headline of the Washington Post announcing the death of John Dingell February 8, 2019. Now with the Kerfuffle over Trump’s comment regarding whether Dingell is looking up or down from whence he reposes presently, the likes of the ghost of McCain’s past and his memory is conjured once again. Of course, both heralded for their military service. First step met.

We are to forget that Trump’s response to Dingell’s death was this:

Trump hails longest-serving congressman in history John Dingell as ‘smart’ and ‘respected’ following his death –

‘Deepest sympathies to Congresswoman Debbie Dingell and the entire family of John Dingell. Longest serving Congressman in Country’s history which, if people understand politics, means he was very smart. A great reputation and highly respected man,’ he tweeted.

It looked like it was going to be forgive and forget time.

But the day after that, we learn what Dingell had to say on his death bed about Trump as a parting gesture similar to McCain.

  • He passed away on Thursday, dictating an op-ed that ran in the Washington Post the next day as one of his last acts
  • Piece that took a dig at Donald Trump ran shortly after the president tweeted his condolences to Dingell’s widow

Dingell’s Farewell Message to America Includes Dig at Trump …

Feb 8, 2019 DEARBORN, Mich. (AP) — On the day of his death, longtime Rep. John Dingell dictated a farewell message to America and used some of his final words to criticize President Donald Trump:
In the piece she (Mrs Dingell) said he composed on Thursday, Dingell slammed Trump and reflected on his own political rise, in an environment he remembered as being much kinder.

‘In our modern political age, the presidential bully pulpit seems dedicated to sowing division and denigrating, often in the most irrelevant and infantile personal terms, the political opposition,’ he charged.

This after Trump’s kind words in spite of Dingell ragging on him all through Trump’s presidency. Dingell skewering him in his book,The Dean: The Best Seat in the House

John Dingell on Trump | One Detroit clip

So easy to forget. Say it again.

On Friday, Trump ordered flags at the White House and other federal facilities lowered to half-staff in Dingell’s memory. The president also used Twitter to extend sympathies to Debbie Dingell and other family members.

Dingell’s opinion article was similar to a letter penned by former Arizona Sen. John McCain before his death in August from brain cancer.

In McCain’s letter, the late Arizona Republican appeared to repudiate Trump’s politics one last time, saying, “We weaken our greatness when we confuse our patriotism with tribal rivalries that have sown resentment and hatred and violence in all the corners of the globe.”

During his retirement years, Dingell regularly turned to Twitter to express his outrage with President Trump and the Republican Party. “Burn this entire administration down,” he tweeted in January, after Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross said that he didn’t understand why furloughed federal workers needed to visit food banks during the government shutdown.

Sure the Washington Post is so kind:

But rather than hurl shrill, impassioned invective at Trump and his associates, Dingell typically preferred to crack jokes at their expense. When Melania Trump showed up to tour a shelter for migrant children in her now-infamous Zara jacket, his response was to tweet, “Boy did I pick an awkward day to wear my jacket with ‘Be Best’ scribbled on the back.”

“Safe to say @realDonaldTrump has had the least productive first 100 days in office,” he wrote in April 2017. “Except maybe Harrison, who died of pneumonia on Day 31.”

The Book: The Dean: The Best Seat in the House

by John Dingell
Review by Kirkus Reviews
He also witnessed the rise of the tea party, which populated the House of Representatives with Republicans who had run “against the very idea of the federal government.” Now retired, he watches in frustration as “Republi-cons work overtime to destroy all we’ve achieved and more,” apparently intent “on driving things backward, to return to an America that was less clean, less safe, less fair.” To counter the “rogue president” and his supporters who, “like lemmings, will follow him over any cliff,” Dingell advises “courage and constant vigilance.”
Speaking to WDIV in Detroit last August, Dingell said that the wry commentary reflected his serious concerns about the direction that the country was heading. “I’m scared to death,” he said. And yes, he confirmed, it was really him tweeting.

Of course this is not the first in revisionist history of a political figure. Anyone of a certain age recall this one? Democrat Vice Presidential candidate. Sainthood bestowed upon her death as well.

McCain will bash Trump and rise once more in film ‘Active Measures’

If we thought that the McCain wandering casket mystery tour was about over, guess again. He will breech once more in a film to coming soon to a theatre near you.

Talk about having an extravaganza ending, this one just about takes the cake. Throw in Hillary as well. I guess we are suppose to forget his handling of the Fake Russia Dossier? His Syrian misadventure with terrorists? Leave that for another day.

‘It should alarm all of us’: John McCain issues warning about Trump and Russia in documentary set to be released a week after his death

  • Senator John McCain warns about president Donald Trump and Russia in an upcoming documentary by filmmaker Jack Bryan called Active Measures
  • The film will be released on August 31, nearly a week after the senator died
  • Hillary Clinton, Yahoo News chief investigative correspondent Michael Isikoff and Rhode Island senator Sheldon Whitehouse also appear in Active Measures
  • Clinton calls reports of Russia meddling in the 2016 election ‘dangerous’
  • Throughout the two-hour film, Bryan argues that Russia has been cultivating Donald Trump long before he was a presidential candidate

The documentary debuts in theaters on August 31, less than a week after McCain died from brain cancer.

‘The fact that there was an attack on the fundamental—the absolute fundamental—a free and fair election, should alarm all of us,’ McCain says in a clip obtained by The Daily Beast.

During the two-hour documentary, Bryan argues that Russia has been cultivating Trump long before he was a presidential candidate. Rhode Island senator Sheldon Whitehouse explains that the Russians ‘have a particular type of mark who they go after’ and Trump fits the bill.

‘They go after someone who has business resources, perhaps some shady morals so they are amenable to bribery. Or perhaps they’re in a difficult financial situation or has either political connections or aspirations,’ he said, adding: ‘I’ve just described Donald Trump.’

‘(McCain) was the most forceful voice in Congress at speaking out against Russian aggression and standing up for democracy worldwide,’ Bryan told the Daily Beast.

‘In 2004 when Putin tried to rig an election in Ukraine, John McCain stood with the Ukrainian people. In 2016 when Putin tried to do the same thing in America, he was one of the few voices in his party who refused to remain silent,’ Bryan added. ‘He and Hillary Clinton were Vladimir Putin’s greatest adversaries in the United States, and without their voices it would be impossible to understand how and why our country arrived at this point.’

(Knee slapper at this point.)

Songbird McCain Sings No More – His Toyko Rose circa 1969 audio

Just who was John McCain? I for one am done with the McCain extravaganza. Let’s take a look at a few myths. First his song and then a bit of his life. What we are watching is the making of a myth.

Apparently this recording was not released officially by the US Government, but was discovered inadvertently by someone searching through the US Archives and was mislabeled as something else. Notes to follow.

Transcript: To the Vietnamese people and the Government of the DRVN I’m John Sydney McCain 624787, Lieutenant Commander US Navy. Born 29 August 1936 Panama, home state (unaudible) Shot down 26 October 1967 A4 Aircraft.

I as a US Airman am Guilty of Crimes against the Vietnamese country and people. I have bombed their cities, towns and villages and caused many injuries, even death to the people of Vietnam. I was captured in the Capitol of Hanoi while attacking it.

After I was captured I was (inaudible) for the hospital in Hanoi where I received very good medical treatement. I was given an operation on my leg which allowed me to walk again and a cast on my right arm which was badly broken in three places.

The doctors were very good and they knew a great deal about the practice of medicine. I remained in the hospital for sometime and regained much of my health and strength. Since I arrived in the camp of detention, I have received humane and (inaudible) treatment. I received this good treatment and food, even though I came here as an aggressor and the people who I injured have much difficulty in their living standards.

I wish to express my deep gratitude for my kind treatment and I will never forget this kindness extended to me.

How about a little about his first wife? Written when he was running for President.

The wife U.S. Republican John McCain callously left behind

McCain likes to illustrate his moral fibre by referring to his five years as a prisoner-of-war in Vietnam. And to demonstrate his commitment to family values, the 71-year-old former US Navy pilot pays warm tribute to his beautiful blonde wife, Cindy, with whom he has four children.

But there is another Mrs McCain who casts a ghostly shadow over the Senator’s presidential campaign. She is seldom seen and rarely written about, despite being mother to McCain’s three eldest children.

And yet, had events turned out differently, it would be she, rather than Cindy, who would be vying to be First Lady. She is McCain’s first wife, Carol, who was a famous beauty and a successful swimwear model when they married in 1965. …snip

But when McCain returned to America in 1973 to a fanfare of publicity and a handshake from Richard Nixon, he discovered his wife had been disfigured in a terrible car crash three years earlier. Her car had skidded on icy roads into a telegraph pole on Christmas Eve, 1969. Her pelvis and one arm were shattered by the impact and she suffered massive internal injuries.

For nearly 30 years, Carol has maintained a dignified silence about the accident, McCain and their divorce. But last week at the bungalow where she now lives at Virginia Beach, a faded seaside resort 200 miles south of Washington, she told The Mail on Sunday how McCain divorced her in 1980 and married Cindy, 18 years his junior and the heir to an Arizona brewing fortune, just one month later.

Snip

‘My marriage ended because John McCain didn’t want to be 40, he wanted to be 25. You know that happens…it just does.’

Some of McCain’s acquaintances are less forgiving, however. They portray the politician as a self-centred womaniser who effectively abandoned his crippled wife to ‘play the field’. They accuse him of finally settling on Cindy, a former rodeo beauty queen, for financial reasons.

McCain was then earning little more than £25,000 a year as a naval officer, while his new father-in-law, Jim Hensley, was a multi-millionaire who had impeccable political connections.

He first met Carol in the Fifties while he was at the US Naval Academy in Annapolis. He was a privileged, but rebellious scion of one of America’s most distinguished military dynasties – his father and grandfather were both admirals.

But setting out to have a good time, the young McCain hung out with a group of young officers who called themselves the ‘Bad Bunch’.

His primary interest was women and his conquests ranged from a knife-wielding floozy nicknamed ‘Marie, the Flame of Florida’ to a tobacco heiress.Fulls story at Daily Mail

Then let’s throw this in for good measure:

John McCain and George Soros – happy together, won’t say where $6 Mil came from

What we do know, thanks to an investigation by The Daily Caller, is that the McCain Institute for International Leadership received a VERY GENEROUS donation from none other than George Soros.

The institute is intended to serve as a “legacy” for McCain. It “is dedicated to advancing human rights, dignity, democracy and freedom”. It is also a tax-exempt non-profit foundation with assets valued at $8.1 million and associated with Arizona State University.

John McCain turned over nearly $9 million in unspent funds from his failed 2008 presidential campaign to a new foundation bearing his name, the McCain Institute for International Leadership.

Songbird John McCain sings circa 1969 – the transcript and audio

Apparently it is all right for John McCain to shoot slings and arrows as the light dims for his life, but we are suppose to take it? Another General bites the dust at Fox for speaking his miind. Some say the confession was false, you be the judge.

A Fox spokeswoman said Friday that McInerney will no longer be allowed on the network.

Also Thursday, a White House official dismissed McCain’s opposition to President Donald Trump’s CIA nominee by saying it didn’t matter because McCain is dying anyway. McCain is fighting brain cancer.

Now Songbird McCain

John McCain and George Soros – happy together, won’t say where $6 Mil came from

Okay McCain. Time to come clean. What are you and George Soros doing? And where are all those bucks coming from? He refuses to disclose the donor list. The Daily Caller first reported this back in June. With his apparent sinking of the overturn of Obamacare, it’s worth another look. Here goes:

The question we all want to know, is where did it come from? John McCain keeps hiding and refuses to answer that question!

The DC gives us more:

Critics worry that the institute’s donors and McCain’s personal leadership in the organization’s exclusive “Sedona Forum” bear an uncanny resemblance to the glitzy Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) that annually co-mingled special interests and powerful political players in alleged pay-to-play schemes.

The institute has accepted contributions of as much as $100,000 from billionaire liberal activist-funder George Soros and from Teneo, a for-profit company co-founded by Doug Band, former President Bill Clinton’s “bag man.”

Teneo has long helped enrich Clinton through lucrative speaking and business deals. (Earlier I had posted Huma Abedin, Bill Clinton’s Butt boy Band’s new Emails will take the Clintons down? In the post, it gave a close look at the relationship of Doug Band and Bill Clinton and the Company Teneo.)

And Bloomberg reported in 2016 on a $1 million Saudi Arabian donation to the institute, a contribution the McCain group has refused to explain publicly.

In addition, the institute has taken at least $100,000 from a Moroccan state-run company tied to repeated charges of worker abuse and exploitation. The McCain group has also accepted at least $100,000 from the Pivotal Foundation. It was created by Francis Najafi who owns the Pivotal Group, a private equity and real estate firm.

What exactly is John McCain doing behind closed doors? What is he doing for Soros to get all that financial love?

FBI Comey pushed back probe origins of ‘Salacious material’ requested by Trump

Interesting isn’t it that the Comey prepared remarks distributed yesterday included statements on the sex act nonsense against Trump. All of which would easily explain why Trump met privately with him at the least. If I were Trump, I would be furious as well as to why Comey didn’t want to go after the origins. Add to his angst that McCain confirms he handed over Trump documents to FBI | 12NEWS … Here goes:

Former FBI Director James B. Comey admitted that he pushed back against a request from President Donald Trump to possibly investigate the origins of “salacious material” that the agency possessed in the course of its investigation into alleged Russian interference in the 2016 presidential campaign.

The detail was included in Comey’s prepared remarks set to be delivered Thursday to the U.S. Senate Select Committee on Intelligence and released ahead of Comey’s appearance.

In Comey’s prepared remarks, the former FBI chief says that following a January 6 Oval Office meeting with Intelligence Community leaders, Comey “remained alone with the President Elect to brief him on some personally sensitive aspects of the information assembled during the assessment.”’

It is clear Comey was referring to the dossier since he writes the “salacious and unverified” material was about to be publically reported by the news media.

He writes:

The IC leadership thought it important, for a variety of reasons, to alert the incoming President to the existence of this material, even though it was salacious and unverified. Among those reasons were: (1) we knew the media was about to publicly report the material and we believed the IC should not keep knowledge of the material and its imminent release from the President-Elect; and (2) to the extent there was some effort to compromise an incoming President, we could blunt any such effort with a defensive briefing.

Four days later, the dossier was published by BuzzFeed.

Also, in his statement summarizing his conversation with Trump, Comey refers to Russian prostitutes, a key component of the dossier:

He said he had nothing to do with Russia, had not been involved with hookers in Russia, and had always assumed he was being recorded when in Russia.

The document contains wild and unproven claims that the Russians had information on Trump and sordid sexual acts, including the mocked claim that Trump hired prostitutes and had them urinate on a hotel room bed.

Comey writes:

During the dinner, the President returned to the salacious material I had briefed him about on January 6, and, as he had done previously, expressed his disgust for the allegations and strongly denied them. He said he was considering ordering me to investigate the alleged incident to prove it didn’t happen. I replied that he should give that careful thought because it might create a narrative that we were investigating him personally, which we weren’t, and because it was very difficult to prove a negative. He said he would think about it and asked me to think about it.

In testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee on FBI oversight last month, Comey repeatedly refused to answer questions about his agency’s ties to the dossier.

John McCain: James Comey is ‘the Most Trusted Person in America’

McCain Wants Select Committee Because Nunes Doesn’t Blame Russia, Let Trump Know

Rick Wells does a great piece on our Rino McCain’s reaction to the great reveal yesterday by Nunes and the snooping on Trump. More interesting, I caught McCain’s wandering over to Greta to do his hit. Apparently Nunes made the fatal error of not blaming Russia. Sadly, its a crazy news day, so not getting the attention all of this deserves. Here is part of the post:

Senator John McCain wants to present his anti-Trump case and sound like a reasonable statesman, so he goes into the friendly confines of MSNBC. He’ll be free to attack Rep Nunes, President Trump and the process there, they all work for the same people.

In the full interview, McCain questioned Nunes’ use of words of “incidental” collection, claiming to not know what that meant, in a most phony and obvious manner. He says, “I don’t know what incidental could actually mean unless we’re talking about… unless they were monitoring the conversations of some foreign entity, i.e. Russian, that the other names might have come up.” McCain can’t imagine us monitoring anyone other than the Russians. For him, all Russia all the time and “War with Russia or bust.”

SNIP…

He says, “It’s a bizarre situation, and what I think, the reason why I’m calling for this select committee or a special committee, is I think that this back and forth and what the American people have found out so far that no longer does the Congress have credibility to handle this alone. And I don’t say that lightly.” Sure he does, just as he lightly said last week that his fellow Senator Rand Paul was working for Vladimir Putin or as he criticized Michelle Bachman and five other members of Congress viciously for daring to question Huma Abedin’s terrorist ties. He does whatever his globalist masters tell him to do and it’s always done lightly.

He’s as phony as they come, in Chuck Schumer’s and Adam Schiff’s league – and working on the same anti-American team.

Cochran stiffed Black Reverend of money after delivering Black votes

As if the nasty election in Mississippi couldn’t get more disgusting.  We can only hope this can be traced back to Cochran himself so the old fool can be removed. Well, old fool is not the operative word. It was all that we hate about the GOP establishment that brought us this outcome. Thanks Karl Rove. We as well have McRino McCain to thank too. By the way,McDaniel as of Friday had refused to concede, but Cochran appears to have narrowly prevailed

It would seem that laws were broken here, too. At the direction of the Cochran campaign, Reverend Fielder went “door to door, different places, mostly impoverished neighborhoods, to the housing authorities and stuff like that,” telling fellow blacks that McDaniel was a racist and promising them $15 per vote. “They sold me on the fact that he was a racist and that the right thing to do was to keep him out of office,” Fielder says.Democrat Reverend Stevie Fielder says he delivered hundreds or thousands to the polls last week and was told to pay $15 to each voter.

Democrat black reverend, who brought “hundreds” to the polls for promise of payment, exposes alleged massive voter fraud, vote buying operation by Cochran campaign.

A black reverend stiffed by the Cochran campaign has exposed an alleged criminal conspiracy by Cochran staffers to commit massive voter fraud ahead of Tuesday’s controversial U.S. Senate Republican runoff election in Mississippi.

Reverend Stevie Fielder, associate pastor at historic First Union Missionary Baptist Church and former official at Meridian’s redevelopment agency, says he delivered “hundreds or even thousands,” of blacks to the polls after being offered money and being assured by a Cochran campaign operative that Chris McDaniel was a racist.

It is illegal under several provisions of Mississippi law and federal law for campaign officials to bribe voters with cash and punishable up to five years in jail. (MS Code 97-13-1; MS Code 97-13-3 (2013) (Federal Code 18 U.S.C. 597, U.S.C. 1973i(c))

Weasel Zippers: McRINO Praises Cochran Campaign’s Really excellent use of Race Baiting…

“Obviously, I claim credit for it, but, actually, the reason why he won was that he had a really excellent get-out-the-vote campaign,” McCain told The Arizona Republic. “There are some people who are complaining that African-American voters voted. I thought one of the major priorities of the Republican Party was to get all minority and ethnic voters out to vote for Republicans.” […]

“The key to it is you’d better pay attention, you’d better work hard, you’d better organize,” McCain said. “And you’d better understand that there is a strong anti-Washington/anti-incumbency sentiment out there, which is justified, and you’ve got your work cut out for you. If I run again, I know what I’m going to be up against and I know that it’s going to be a long, hard slog. But I enjoy campaigning. I love it. And I love traveling around the state.” (Ed: You bet your bibi John. We will be gunning for your seat. You betcha.)
