The keys to understanding the origin of the Trump – Russia investigation

Another home run by Maria Bartiromo on “Sunday Morning Futures.” If ever there was an interview to be viewed in its entirety it’s this one with George Papadopoulous. After a few minutes of watching, I guarantee you will not be able to put it down. The Russia spy pieces all come together. It should scare the dickens out of all of us and new information is riveting. The interview starts a few minutes from the beginning.

Further on in the program, Rep. Devin Nunes, the ranking member of the House Intel Committee, speaks about his investigation into the origins of the Trump-Russia investigation and why the tale of Joseph Mifsud and George Papadopoulos is key to understanding what happened.

DEVIN NUNES: Well, it’s beyond me. I never knew you could use counterintelligence capabilities, these are the capabilities in our government to go after and target terrorists. I never knew that you could actually go out and use those capabilities to spy on Americans, and we don’t know all of this yet for sure, but we have strong suspicions that that is exactly what was happening. And you really only have to look at the text messages from Strzok and Page who were the FBI agents who were the lead that ultimately served on the Mueller dossier team. They were texting about this stuff.

MARIA BARTIROMO: They wanted an insurance policy.

DEVIN NUNES: That’s right.

Note the timeline for George Papadopoulos. He had several “run ins” with Western (UK, Italian, Australian) intel agents well before he met with Alexander Downer, the Australian diplomat that the FBI claims is the reason they had suspicions about him and other Trump aids.

In truth, Papadopoulos had never met with anybody from Russia prior to the FBI running secret agents at him. And to date, he has never met with anyone from Russia. Yet, we are somehow supposed to believe that the FBI was so “concerned”about Russian efforts to infiltrate the Trump campaign? There was absolutely no evidence to even investigate Papadopoulos.

Top DOJ official to be fired this week – will it be Sessions?

Can anyone tell me why Trump’s new BFF is one Rod Rosenstein? Traveling companion on Air Force One was none other than that man. Comments such as:

The Hill (blog)
Trump said he had a “very nice talk” with Rosenstein aboard Air Force One, a meeting he called to discuss the deputy attorney general’s future ..

Meanwhile Nunes was left spinning in the wind on Laura Ingraham’s program last night. His committee hearing with Rosenstein concerning his remarks of “wearing a wire” was looking silly. Trump not releasing the FiSA warrants instead giving him to the Inspector General. Clearly it was giving him agida.

Nunes is a GOP from CA. He is up for re-election. Trump can’t leave Nunes out to dry while he is fighting for him. Nunes looks depleted. Warn out.

Could Sessions be the one on the chopping block? Rosenstein instead?

The American public was consumed with the Brett Kavanaugh Confirmation crisis.
Tonight Justice Brett Kavanaugh was sworn in as the next Supreme Court Justice of the United States.

And less than two hours later Sean Hannity warned his audience this is going to be another big breaking news week.

Sean Hannity: There is huge breaking news this week about the Deep State, let me put it this way. The damn is breaking. It’s going to be a massive breaking news week.

Sara Carter told Sean Hannity on Monday night the breaking news will involve a top official at the DOJ.

McCain Wants Select Committee Because Nunes Doesn’t Blame Russia, Let Trump Know

Rick Wells does a great piece on our Rino McCain’s reaction to the great reveal yesterday by Nunes and the snooping on Trump. More interesting, I caught McCain’s wandering over to Greta to do his hit. Apparently Nunes made the fatal error of not blaming Russia. Sadly, its a crazy news day, so not getting the attention all of this deserves. Here is part of the post:

Senator John McCain wants to present his anti-Trump case and sound like a reasonable statesman, so he goes into the friendly confines of MSNBC. He’ll be free to attack Rep Nunes, President Trump and the process there, they all work for the same people.

In the full interview, McCain questioned Nunes’ use of words of “incidental” collection, claiming to not know what that meant, in a most phony and obvious manner. He says, “I don’t know what incidental could actually mean unless we’re talking about… unless they were monitoring the conversations of some foreign entity, i.e. Russian, that the other names might have come up.” McCain can’t imagine us monitoring anyone other than the Russians. For him, all Russia all the time and “War with Russia or bust.”

SNIP…

He says, “It’s a bizarre situation, and what I think, the reason why I’m calling for this select committee or a special committee, is I think that this back and forth and what the American people have found out so far that no longer does the Congress have credibility to handle this alone. And I don’t say that lightly.” Sure he does, just as he lightly said last week that his fellow Senator Rand Paul was working for Vladimir Putin or as he criticized Michelle Bachman and five other members of Congress viciously for daring to question Huma Abedin’s terrorist ties. He does whatever his globalist masters tell him to do and it’s always done lightly.

He’s as phony as they come, in Chuck Schumer’s and Adam Schiff’s league – and working on the same anti-American team.
