Somali Muslim legislator votes for Insurance benefits for terrorist families

This piece of work makes the headlines once again. I am talking about Somali Muslim woman Ithan Omar who just voted that terrorists who get killed in the act should not be denied insurance benefits. But my memory recalled an earlier post that I have not seen any follow up regarding:“Historic” Minnesota Muslim primary winner marries brother, already married

So we have a 33-year-old Somali who gets herself over here to Minnesota. Already married with three kids, decides to add her brother as a husband even though it is immigration fraud as well as bigamy and whatever marrying your brother is. I leave that to you. Then what do you know, now wins the primary of the DFL whatever party that is, but apparently the same as Muslim Congressman Ellison, to the State Legislature. Congrats America. She is celebrated by the Star Tribune with the headline ‘Relentless’ Ilhan Omar sealed historic win in Minnesota legislative battle. No mention of the illegal activity and anyway, who cares.

But let’s get back to the latest:

She burst on the scene last August when she upset a 44-year incumbent Democrat in the Minnesota state primary elections to become the nation’s first female Muslim state legislator.

lhan Omar, the 34-year-old community organizer who came to America as a refugee from Somalia, was touted by Democrats as a model success story.

“From a refugee camp to the State Capitol with intelligence and insight,” beamed former Minneapolis Mayor R.T. Rybak, who endorsed Omar. “This is a wonderful story to tell as Americans, and a great source of pride for the state of Minnesota’s open arms.”

But on Thursday Omar made her mark in another way.

She was one of only two members of the Minnesota State House to vote against a bill that would allow life insurance companies to deny payouts to the beneficiaries of terrorists who die in violent attacks on Americans.

Taliban claim MOAB bomb caused ‘detriments for the environment’

We got some really bad guys when that big beautiful bomb MOAB went off last week in Afghanistan. How well the Taliban understands us. Attacking the U.S. on the grounds of harming the environment. I am sure this will get Hollyweird gassed up and ready march. Now all the Taliban needs to find are some endangered species. Here tis:

The Taliban accused Washington of harming the environment and using disproportionate force against ISIS by dropping the “mother of all bombs” in Nangarhar province last week.

“Many families had long been displaced from the area due to ISIS brutality,” said Afghanistan’s Chief Executive Abdullah Abdullah. “Government also took great care to avoid civilian harm.”

Tolo reported Tuesday that the majority of the 96 fighters killed by the MOAB in the ISIS stonghold were Tehrik-e Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and members of Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba. TTP’s attacks include the assassination of Benazir Bhutto, the shooting of Nobel laureate Malala Yousafzai, and the 2014 massacre at a Peshawar school. Lashkar-e-Taiba, which has been allied with the Afghan Taliban and al-Qaeda, was behind the 2008 Mumbai attacks.

Also reportedly among the dead: 13 ISIS commanders, 12 Tajiks, and 13 Indian nationals who had joined ISIS.

ISIS operatives are still active in other provinces including Kunar, Zabul, Ghor, Jawzjan and Sar-e-Pul, where Afghan officials say ISIS has beheaded children and torched homes.

ISIS and the Taliban called a truce last August, agreeing to stop fighting each other to both focus on fighting U.S. forces and the U.S.-backed Afghan forces.

In a statement posted on their website over the weekend, the Taliban said the “barbarity” of the Achin district MOAB drop “was followed with much fanfare with the Americans proudly boasting about it in the media thus showcasing the increasing barbarity of the foreign occupation.”

Taiban terrorist attacks this year include a car bombing that killed 7 people outside of a bank and an insider attack that killed a dozen policemen in February. In November, the Taliban claimed a suicide bombing at Bagram Airfield that killed four Americans.

The Obama administration would not call the Taliban a terrorist group, claiming they were an “armed insurgency” and encouraging the Afghan government to broker a deal with the group.

This month, some Afghan officials in Uruzgan province reported seeing Russian trainers among the Taliban.

The removal of Steve Bannon was greatly exaggerated. Attends NSC meeting

The palace intrigue continues. It does look like Bannon is not totally down and out. Either way, Syria has now taken over the headlines and the old war horses seem to be gaining the Trumpsters ear.

One day after what was demonstrably one of the most-covered stories by the media focused on the “removal” of Steve Bannon, President Trump’s top adviser, from the National Security Council (NSC), he attended a council meeting, the Washington Examiner reported on Thursday.

“White House chief strategist Steve Bannon has attended the first meeting of the National Security Council after he was removed from the principals committee Wednesday,” the Examiner story said.

“Bannon is still permitted to go to NSC meetings,” Fox News reported on Wednesday.

Reports of Syria Removing Its Chemical Weapons Were Greatly Exaggerated

Will the Obama regime including Clinton ever be held accountable for the mistakes that have cost hundreds of thousands of lives? Let us never forget the “Arab Spring”

Looks like the celebration started by the Democrats a bit early.

brought to us by

Kerry,Clinton’s sorry Syrian policy has led to this?

Reporters aren’t interested in exploring aspects of Clinton’s job as Secretary  of State. One such comment not getting attention is her 2011 labeling of Bashar  al-Assad, the man almost  certainly (maybe) behind a devastating chemical weapons attack, as a “reformer.”

On the March 27, 2011, Clinton insisted, “There’s a different leader in  Syria now. Many of the members of Congress of both parties who have gone to  Syria in recent months have said they believe he’s a reformer.” (The Washington  Post gave this remark three Pinocchios. Clinton later backtracked.)  Yet, ABC, NBC and CBS have not reexamined the comments in the wake of the attack  or its accuracy.

Uploaded on Mar 31, 2011. Included in the clip is her take on the wonders of the administration’s actions in Libya as well.

The streets of Leeds, U.K. Do we want this here? It’s out of control

A chilling clip that for tells our future. Where are the women? Just asking.

The streets of Leeds, UK as Islam is demonstrated in full force. Do we want this here? It is claimed this clip is from Leeds. I checked the news from Leeds, and it seems probably. This is not to imply the two stories are related. Other news today from Leeds?

McCain Wants Select Committee Because Nunes Doesn’t Blame Russia, Let Trump Know

Rick Wells does a great piece on our Rino McCain’s reaction to the great reveal yesterday by Nunes and the snooping on Trump. More interesting, I caught McCain’s wandering over to Greta to do his hit. Apparently Nunes made the fatal error of not blaming Russia. Sadly, its a crazy news day, so not getting the attention all of this deserves. Here is part of the post:

Senator John McCain wants to present his anti-Trump case and sound like a reasonable statesman, so he goes into the friendly confines of MSNBC. He’ll be free to attack Rep Nunes, President Trump and the process there, they all work for the same people.

In the full interview, McCain questioned Nunes’ use of words of “incidental” collection, claiming to not know what that meant, in a most phony and obvious manner. He says, “I don’t know what incidental could actually mean unless we’re talking about… unless they were monitoring the conversations of some foreign entity, i.e. Russian, that the other names might have come up.” McCain can’t imagine us monitoring anyone other than the Russians. For him, all Russia all the time and “War with Russia or bust.”

SNIP…

He says, “It’s a bizarre situation, and what I think, the reason why I’m calling for this select committee or a special committee, is I think that this back and forth and what the American people have found out so far that no longer does the Congress have credibility to handle this alone. And I don’t say that lightly.” Sure he does, just as he lightly said last week that his fellow Senator Rand Paul was working for Vladimir Putin or as he criticized Michelle Bachman and five other members of Congress viciously for daring to question Huma Abedin’s terrorist ties. He does whatever his globalist masters tell him to do and it’s always done lightly.

He’s as phony as they come, in Chuck Schumer’s and Adam Schiff’s league – and working on the same anti-American team.

Vermont Democrats elect terror-linked FBI investigated Muslim as party chair

When I first caught this story I thought I had picked up some sci-fi thriller set in some far distant planet. But now, the inconceivable is now becoming common place. So this fellow now heads up the Vermont Dem party after a stint as a GOPer.. do catch the full read An FBI-Investigated Islamist Takes Over the Vermont Democrats | Frontpage Mag – Daniel Greenfield. It won’t disappoint:

Vermont Democrats have something else to celebrate besides the creation and failure of the first statewide socialized medicine system in America. Recovering from that glorious triumph, Vermont Democrats have elected their first Muslim state party chairman. Back when Gill was playing a Republican, left-wing media outlets like @Salon were willing to report on his troubling Islamist ties. Not so much now.

The lucky fellow is Faisal Gill who called his victory a rebuke of President Trump. “To have a Muslim and immigrant to be the state party chair sends a really strong message to Trump and his type of politics that this is not where the country is at.”

Gill’s election doesn’t send much of a message about where America is at. But it certainly sends a message about where the Democrats are at.

When revelations first emerged that Faisal Gill had been under FBI surveillance, he blamed Islamophobia. When Snowden’s enemy espionage operation exposed national security documents which were published by left-wing terror apologist Glenn Greenwald and The Intercept, a site whose former writer is now charged with some of the terroristic bomb threats aimed at Jewish centers, Gill’s email appeared on a list of alleged terrorist suspects and supporters, including Al Qaeda leader Anwar Al-Awlaki.

Back when Gill was playing a Republican, courtesy of Grover Norquist, left-wing media outlets like Salon were willing to report on his troubling Islamist ties. But Faisal Gill has been reborn as a supporter of Bernie Sanders and Keith Ellison. The left has become a warm and moist safe space for Islamists. The Salon article which Gill blamed for many of his problems would be nearly inconceivable today. Could anyone really imagine a leftist publication today describing the Muslim Brotherhood as a terror nexus?

Faisal Gill had neglected to mention that he had worked for the American Muslim Council. The AMC was another front for the Muslim Brotherhood. Its founder, Abdul Rahman al-Amoudi, was sent to prison due to an investigation into his involvement in a terrorism plot. Al-Amoudi had been both blatant in expressing his support for terrorism, particularly Hamas, and the need to conceal it.

The policy director for the intelligence division at the Department of Homeland Security had worked for an organization with terror ties. And he had failed to disclose his linkages to that organization.

Read it all at Frontpage and as noted in the already linked article above:

As the author of that Salon.com article, Mary Jacoby noted at the time:

“The ties among Alamoudi, the Muslim Brotherhood andGill help explain why officials are concerned about whether Gill was adequately vetted. These relationships are difficult to understand without immersion in the indictments, court transcripts and case exhibits; the concerned officials said they fear that busy political operatives in the administration simply do not grasp the national-security issues at stake. “There’s an overall denial in the administration that the agenda being pushed by Norquist might be a problem,” one official said. “It’s so absurd that a Grover Norquist person could even be close to something like this. That’s really what’s so insidious.”
