Leland Ingham Keyser says she has no recollection of EVER BEING AT A PARTY with Brett Kavanaugh and does not know him.
Ms. Keyser is a lifelong friend of Christine Blasey Ford and was one of her best friends in high school.
Christine Ford’s friend Leland Keyser said on Friday she was pressured by Democrats to change her story on Brett Kavanaugh and lie to the US Senate.
Leland Keyser told the Wall Street Journal she was pressured by former FBI agent and Ford friend Monica McLean — and offered proof to FBI investigators.

It is beyond obvious now that Ms. Christine Blasey-Ford was not just some random ancillary high school acquaintance of Brett Kavanaugh; Ms. Ford appears to have been selected by a group of politically connected FBI and DOJ officials for the purpose of targeting Judge Kavanaugh.
All of these DOJ and FBI people are part of a tight network.
Leland Keyser, who Dr. Ford has said was present at the gathering where she was allegedly assaulted in the 1980s, told investigators that Monica McLean, a retired Federal Bureau of Investigation agent and a friend of Dr. Ford’s, had urged her to clarify her statement, the people said.
[…] On Thursday, a day after sending to the White House the report on its investigation into the allegations against Judge Kavanaugh, the FBI sent the White House and Senate an additional package of information that included text messages from Ms. McLean to Ms. Keyser, according to a person familiar with the matter.

An interesting find in the quicksand of the faltering Ford Circus Maximus. So much to choose from, so little time. I chose this little item to show that prosecutor Mitchell, in her supposedly failed questioning of Ford, had plenty of information prior to her go at Ford.

The alleged ex-boyfriend also claims that Ford frequently flew, including in small propeller aircraft, without complaint over the course of their relationship and had no fear of small spaces or rooms with only one exit. Ford’s claims that phobias of these things have plagued her since the early 1980s as a result of a 17-year-old Kavanaugh attacking her have been central elements of her story.
In that time, he claims to have witnessed Ford, then studying psychology, coach a close friend as she prepared for government administered polygraph exams.Further, the man claims Ford never mentioned being a victim of sexual assault in the eight years they knew each other and never once mentioned Kavanaugh’s name. Finally, he claims their relationship ended amid infidelity and credit card fraud on her part. He does, however, claim that he “finds Ford believable” and did not “want to become involved” with the investigatory process.
Note her attorney tries to cut off the questioning.
We ended up with precious few moments of any real interrogation by the “prosecutor” that the GOP hauled in for the questioning of Ford. The few claims she did make could easily be dismissed. The “fear of flying” being a case in point.
Lying to Congress is in fact a criminal matter. Clearly her statement about flying was a lie as was pointed out, she flew all over the world. The matter of her therapist notes. Did she show the Washington Post the actual notes or were they her oral representations? She didn’t know and this was only a few weeks ago? Her unwillingness to present the therapists notes to the committee. Then we had the so-called “lie detector” test and the unwillingness to acknowledge if any recordings were taken as well as other issues with it.
But the most compelling lie and the one that should clearly have her fined and jailed and totally discredited was this one:
Christine Blasey Ford told the US Senate Judiciary Committee that the memories of Brett Kavanaugh “first came up” when she went into counseling in 2012. In May 2012 Ford and her husband argued over her desire to add “a second front door” to their home. Ford told the committee on Thursday the desire for a second door was because Brett Kavanaugh made her “claustrophobic.”
As Paul Sperry reported on Thursday night. The Palo Alto building permits were issued to Ford and her husband in 2008 — NOT 2012.
Paul Sperry: Palo Alto bldg permit records raise questions about Ford’s testimony she completed an “extensive remodel” of home in 2012 & that this was seminal event that led her down path to coming out against Kavanaugh b/c she needed to add an escape door. Permit was issued in 2008.
The worst part of the hearing? Watching what appeared to be the Kavanaugh appointment slipping away by the GOP failure to intervene with the absurd non participation in the process.
Was I the only one that noticed the disbelief in Kavanaugh at the beginning of his questioning? Apparently abandoned by the GOP, the “prosecutor” looked to be the interrogator in chief?
So now it looked like he was going to be the one on trial after the soft glove treatment of Ford.
First having him “study” a sheet of paper defining what sexual behavior was? He would be permitted from time to time to refer back to it. Apparently if he got “confused” it seems as to what it was. Including in the definition was a sexual “grinding of the genitals” of sorts? Lordy I’m thinking, here comes another coke can moment.
After three of four turns of Dem attacks and her circling back around, the GOP woke up from their slumber. Thanks in no small part to Lindsay Graham.
I will add why wasn’t Ford’s yearbook explored? After all, Kavanaugh’s half of his testimony was about his yearbook.

10th grade seems to have been a ritual initiation into the “Holton party scene”. Another sophomore girl threw multiple all night benders, the highlight of which featured a male erotic dancer in gold g-string…

In conclusion, I hope and pray Kavanaugh receives confirmation. He deserves it. Full stop.

Republicans on the committee released a timeline of events late Wednesday, which included details about their interactions with the two men who admitted to the attacks.

No doubt Grassley didn’t have the votes. Either way, Grassley appeared at Kavanaugh’s hearing like a man who was way past the second trombone player. His groin appears to be missing a pair.
Anyone who watched the Kavanaugh hearing knows. His staffer behind him was forever passing Grassley notes and correcting him. “We will be moving into executive session.” Note passed by staffer- “No, we will be moving to closed sessions.” as an example.
His tweets about delaying the hearing from Ford testifying proves my point. These tweets do not sound like a man on the top of his game. Then he has cohort Feinstein leading him by the nose. Anyway, I am done with this post.
Grassley’s broken trombone
Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-IA) announced late Friday night via Twitter that he has caved on his 10 p.m. EDT deadline for Dr. Christine Blasey Ford to decide on testifying before the committee about her uncorroborated charges accusing Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexually assaulting decades ago at a drunken high school pool party.
Grassley’s three part statement:

“We’ve never really talked about the woman who first came out against Al Franken,” Brzezinski said. “[She is] a performer, Playboy model who goes on Hannity.
Who voted for Trump.” — “You know, I see some politics there but I haven’t brought that up every step of the way because, of course, in this #MeToo environment, you must always just believe the women,” she explained. “I think there’s a lot of reasons why we need to look at the women seriously and believe them.”
Brzezinski asserted that she believes the accusers of her friend Mark Halperin, but wondered if it is always right to believe the women that accuse men of sexual misconduct. “I’m just wondering if all women need to be believed,” she explained, “and I am concerned that we are being the judge, the jury, and the cops here, and so did Senate Democrats getting ahead of their skis.”
