Ford’s FBI friend McClean pressured witness to change statement and testimony

With our Republic hanging by a thread, we would do well to dig into the FBI McClean  connection to Ford. We have a chance to nail a whole slug of them and let’s not miss, asking Mr. Sessions. The Conservative Tree House has done terrific work on the deep deep connections. It’s a Saturday. Take the time.

Leland Ingham Keyser says she has no recollection of EVER BEING AT A PARTY with Brett Kavanaugh and does not know him.

Ms. Keyser is a lifelong friend of Christine Blasey Ford and was one of her best friends in high school.

Christine Ford’s friend Leland Keyser said on Friday she was pressured by Democrats to change her story on Brett Kavanaugh and lie to the US Senate.

Leland Keyser told the Wall Street Journal she was pressured by former FBI agent and Ford friend Monica McLean — and offered proof to FBI investigators.

Picture credit to Conservative Tree House:

It is beyond obvious now that Ms. Christine Blasey-Ford was not just some random ancillary high school acquaintance of Brett Kavanaugh; Ms. Ford appears to have been selected by a group of politically connected FBI and DOJ officials for the purpose of targeting Judge Kavanaugh.

All of these DOJ and FBI people are part of a tight network.

Via The Wall Street Journal:

Leland Keyser, who Dr. Ford has said was present at the gathering where she was allegedly assaulted in the 1980s, told investigators that Monica McLean, a retired Federal Bureau of Investigation agent and a friend of Dr. Ford’s, had urged her to clarify her statement, the people said.

[…] On Thursday, a day after sending to the White House the report on its investigation into the allegations against Judge Kavanaugh, the FBI sent the White House and Senate an additional package of information that included text messages from Ms. McLean to Ms. Keyser, according to a person familiar with the matter.

The full read and a must is over at the The Conservative Treehouse who reported on McLean and her attorney — a person with deep connections to the DOJ and FBI.

Ex-boyfriend: Ford had no fear of flying, coached polygraph test

Christian Martyrs Last Prayer

An interesting find in the quicksand of the faltering Ford Circus Maximus. So much to choose from, so little time. I chose this little item to show that prosecutor Mitchell, in her supposedly failed questioning of Ford, had plenty of information prior to her go at Ford.

Let’s get on with the show:

The alleged ex-boyfriend also claims that Ford frequently flew, including in small propeller aircraft, without complaint over the course of their relationship and had no fear of small spaces or rooms with only one exit. Ford’s claims that phobias of these things have plagued her since the early 1980s as a result of a 17-year-old Kavanaugh attacking her have been central elements of her story.

In that time, he claims to have witnessed Ford, then studying psychology, coach a close friend as she prepared for government administered polygraph exams.Further, the man claims Ford never mentioned being a victim of sexual assault in the eight years they knew each other and never once mentioned Kavanaugh’s name. Finally, he claims their relationship ended amid infidelity and credit card fraud on her part. He does, however, claim that he “finds Ford believable” and did not “want to become involved” with the investigatory process.

Note her attorney tries to cut off the questioning.

Ford caught in major lie, building permit in 2008 not 2012 for “two doors”

We ended up with precious few moments of any real interrogation by the “prosecutor” that the GOP hauled in for the questioning of Ford. The few claims she did make could easily be dismissed. The “fear of flying” being a case in point.

Lying to Congress is in fact a criminal matter. Clearly her statement about flying was a lie as was pointed out, she flew all over the world. The matter of her therapist notes. Did she show the Washington Post the actual notes or were they her oral representations? She didn’t know and this was only a few weeks ago? Her unwillingness to present the therapists notes to the committee. Then we had the so-called “lie detector” test and the unwillingness to acknowledge if any recordings were taken as well as other issues with it.

But the most compelling lie and the one that should clearly have her fined and jailed and totally discredited was this one:

Christine Blasey Ford told the US Senate Judiciary Committee that the memories of Brett Kavanaugh “first came up” when she went into counseling in 2012. In May 2012 Ford and her husband argued over her desire to add “a second front door” to their home. Ford told the committee on Thursday the desire for a second door was because Brett Kavanaugh made her “claustrophobic.”

As Paul Sperry reported on Thursday night. The Palo Alto building permits were issued to Ford and her husband in 2008 — NOT 2012.

Paul Sperry: Palo Alto bldg permit records raise questions about Ford’s testimony she completed an “extensive remodel” of home in 2012 & that this was seminal event that led her down path to coming out against Kavanaugh b/c she needed to add an escape door. Permit was issued in 2008.

The worst part of the hearing? Watching what appeared to be the Kavanaugh appointment slipping away by the GOP failure to intervene with the absurd non participation in the process.

Was I the only one that noticed the disbelief in Kavanaugh at the beginning of his questioning? Apparently abandoned by the GOP, the “prosecutor” looked to be the interrogator in chief?

So now it looked like he was going to be the one on trial after the soft glove treatment of Ford.

First having him “study” a sheet of paper defining what sexual behavior was? He would be permitted from time to time to refer back to it. Apparently if he got “confused” it seems as to what it was. Including in the definition was a sexual “grinding of the genitals” of sorts? Lordy I’m thinking, here comes another coke can moment.

After three of four turns of Dem attacks and her circling back around, the GOP woke up from their slumber. Thanks in no small part to Lindsay Graham.

I will add why wasn’t Ford’s yearbook explored? After all, Kavanaugh’s half of his testimony was about his yearbook.

1982 was a particularly wild year and Scribe 82 [that year’s yearbook at her school Holton-Arms] published multiple pictures of minors drinking heavily, beer cans stacked up, liquor repeatedly glorified, “boys, beer and “the ‘Zoo’ atmosphere”.

The Kavanaugh pawing supposedly happened in 1982, during the summer after her sophomore year…

10th grade seems to have been a ritual initiation into the “Holton party scene”. Another sophomore girl threw multiple all night benders, the highlight of which featured a male erotic dancer in gold g-string…

“Lastly one cannot fail to mention the climax of the junior social scene, the party. Striving to extend our educational experience beyond the confines of the classroom, we played such intellectually stimulating games as Quarters, Mexican Dice and everyone’s favorite, Pass-Out, which usually resulted from the aforementioned two.”

The caption on the right side of the image mocks the faculty and parents, “Come on, you’re really too young to drink.”

In conclusion, I hope and pray Kavanaugh receives confirmation. He deserves it. Full stop.

As for the GOP? This comes to mind, “Get out of the old road if you can’t lend a hand, cause the times they are a changing.”

Two men tell Senate not Kavanaugh but they who assaulted Ford

I say she is a no show. But if she does I am at the ready.

Two men tell Senate that they, not Kavanaugh, assaulted Ford

Two men tell Senate that they, not Kavanaugh, assaulted Ford … Man apologizes for making false allegation against Kavanaugh … men have come forward to members of the Senate Judiciary Committee to claim that they are..

Two men have come forward to members of the Senate Judiciary Committee to claim that they are the ones who actually assaulted Christine Blasey Ford during a house party in 1982 — and not Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.

Republicans on the committee released a timeline of events late Wednesday, which included details about their interactions with the two men who admitted to the attacks.

Just getting more and more bizarre. Thanks GOP you really done yourself something.

By now we are up to how many accusers against Kavanaugh? By the time this posts I am sure it will be more. No need to be clever here. I have the popcorn at the ready. My blood pressure meds. I am a go. Now for the hearing? Will Ford show? Doubtful at this point.

Of all the creatures who are attacking Kavanaugh, Blumenthal is the most disgusting.

Why we should believe Blumenthal? Let’s nail this fellow.

Kavanaugh Accuser hearing delayed- trombone player Grassley folds

No doubt Grassley didn’t have the votes. Either way, Grassley appeared at Kavanaugh’s hearing  like a man who was way past the second trombone player. His groin appears to be missing a pair.

Anyone who watched the Kavanaugh hearing knows. His staffer behind him was forever passing Grassley notes and correcting him. “We will be moving into executive session.” Note passed by staffer- “No, we will be moving to closed sessions.” as an example.

His tweets about delaying the hearing from Ford testifying proves my point. These tweets do not sound like a man on the top of his game. Then he has cohort Feinstein leading him by the nose. Anyway, I am done with this post.

Grassley’s broken trombone

Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-IA) announced late Friday night via Twitter that he has caved on his 10 p.m. EDT deadline for Dr. Christine Blasey Ford to decide on testifying before the committee about her uncorroborated charges accusing Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexually assaulting decades ago at a drunken high school pool party.

Grassley’s three part statement:

Five times now we have granted extension for Dr Ford to decide if she wants to proceed w her desire stated one wk ago that she wants to tell senate her story Dr Ford if u changed ur mind say so so we can move on I want to hear ur testimony. Come to us or we to u

Judge Kavanaugh I just granted another extension to Dr Ford to decide if she wants to proceed w the statement she made last week to testify to the senate She shld decide so we can move on I want to hear her. I hope u understand. It’s not my normal approach to b indecisive

With all the extensions we give Dr Ford to decide if she still wants to testify to the Senate I feel like I’m playing 2nd trombone in the judiciary orchestra and Schumer is the conductor”

‘Shut up men and Step up – Do the right thing for a change’- Senator Hirono

Hint Men…your time is up. At least as far as Senator Hirono thinks. Gee, what’s left to divide us? Tucker Carlson last night presented a masterful response worthy of a look.

I scouted around to see what my fav gal Mika Brzezinski had to say on the matter. Lucky us.

I did find a clip: MSNBC’s Mika Brzezinski said she isn’t sure if all women should be believed, and noted that one of Sen. Al Franken’s accusers is a Trump supporter. (Boy howdy that will do it!!!) That was Circa 2017. Time sure makes a difference!

Now on to Hirono:

Asked whether her being one of four women on the Senate Judiciary Committee impacts the Brett Kavanaugh proceedings, Senator Mazie Hirono says, “I just want to say to the men of this country: Just shut up and step up. Do the right thing for a change.”

SEN. MAZIE HIRONO (D-HI): I think we all know when something is not fair, when something smells. This is so patently not fair to her and what really bothers me and gets me so angry that the White House is victimizing this person.

Why don’t we get that out there? Why should we participate in the victimization of someone who has the courage to come forward?

And she is under no obligation to participate in a smearing of her and her family. That is why I am very clear about what needs to happen.

But at the same time if the Republicans go forward with their plan to railroad this fast-track as they have so many other nominations, I expect the members of the press to talk about how unfair that is. I don’t think that is editorializing, that is laying out the facts. I expect that from you guys…

HIRONO: I expect the men in this country and the men in this committee because we all signed on to this letter to demand an FBI investigation. But really guess who is perpetuating all of these kinds of actions? It’s the men in this country. And I just want to say to the men in this country: just shut up and step up, do the right thing for a change.

Tucker: The left think all men are guilty

For a time, it seemed like we’d moved past corrosive identity politics. Now it’s back in force.

Now on to Mika from 2017 better known as who stated: Mika Brzezinski said “My parents found me very difficult to educate fame.

MSNBC’s Mika Brzezinski said she isn’t sure if all women should be believed, and noted that one of Sen. Al Franken’s accusers is a Trump supporter.

Friday’s “Morning Joe” crew was discussing Franken’s resignation over a sexual harassment scandal, and Brzezinski argued that there may be some “politics” at play with his first accuser, Leeann Tweeden.

“We’ve never really talked about the woman who first came out against Al Franken,” Brzezinski said. “[She is] a performer, Playboy model who goes on Hannity.

Who voted for Trump.” — “You know, I see some politics there but I haven’t brought that up every step of the way because, of course, in this #MeToo environment, you must always just believe the women,” she explained. “I think there’s a lot of reasons why we need to look at the women seriously and believe them.”

Brzezinski asserted that she believes the accusers of her friend Mark Halperin, but wondered if it is always right to believe the women that accuse men of sexual misconduct. “I’m just wondering if all women need to be believed,” she explained, “and I am concerned that we are being the judge, the jury, and the cops here, and so did Senate Democrats getting ahead of their skis.”

What Do You Do With Detroit? Bulldoze It

Have you ever wondered what will become of Detroit?

Well, Detroit’s mayor has an idea: Bulldoze it.

Mayor Dave Bing is apparently working on a radical plan that would bulldoze a quarter of the city — some of the most desolate areas — and return it to farmland, the way it was before the automobile. Any residents still there would be relocated to stronger neighborhoods.

“Things that were unthinkable are now becoming thinkable,” James W. Hughes, dean of the School of Planning and Public Policy at Rutgers University, told the AP. “There is now a realization that past glories are never going to be recaptured. Some people probably don’t accept that but that is the reality,” he said.

Welcome to the future. Why does it look so much like 1910 instead of 2010?
