Paul Ryan piles on, Demands answers after Washington Post’s hit piece on Trump Russia

I have had it with the so-called news. It has gotten to the point of total absurdity. The final straw? Now Ryan, the traitor, has come out as well about this faux Trump leak of classified information to the Russians. Meanwhile, Hillary is getting herself a PAC together to be  the “resistance.” Folks, we are losing our Democracy. Here is Ryan:

WikiLeaks latest dump – CIA tool infects networks, allows CIA to monitor

We had another dump yesterday by WikLeaks. It is getting to be ho hum with barely a mention. But what it reveals is that those of us who were accused of wearing tin foil and sporting a degree of paranoia of our government to boot was well justified. So here is a post for the irredeemables. All of this information to be stored at the Utah Data Center.

WikiLeaks published a hacking tool known as “Archimedes” in another installment of their CIA Vault 7 leak series today.

This is just one of a number of viruses supposedly used by the CIA and revealed by WikiLeaks. WikiLeaks claimed in March that just one percent of their Vault 7 series had been released so far, with many more leaks to come.

The wildest dreams of the Gestapo. KGB and East German Stasi comes into full being to “protect you”

WikiLeaks claims the hacking tool is used to infiltrate and attack computers that are linked via a local area network (LAN). The program essentially uses one computer to share viruses across the network, rerouting computer traffic to an exploitation server that allows the CIA to monitor network traffic on the computer.

“The document illustrates a type of attack within a ‘protected environment’ as the the tool is deployed into an existing local network abusing existing machines to bring targeted computers under control and allowing further exploitation and abuse,” WikiLeaks explains.

NSA director Rodgers openly says Trump complicating U.S. alliances

Follow me as we connect the dots. Many were voicing concerns over Trump keeping Admiral Rodgers as director of the National Security Agency. His charge was mainly cybersecurity and a hold over from Obama. When I caught Rodger’s negative statements at the Comey hearing it was time to see what he was about. Even more disturbing is to find that NSA General Counsel Glenn Gerstell, a major bundler for Obama is still in his role and has not been removed. If Trump is to survice he best empty these pieces of garbage pronto. Here tis:

A stunning moment in the House Intelligence hearing — the director of the National Security Agency, Admiral Michael Rogers, acknowledged on live television that President Trump’s loose talk has complicated relationships with Britain and Germany.

  1. On Britain: Rogers was asked about Trump’s repetition of an unsubstantiated claim that Britain’s top spy agency wiretapped Trump on behalf of President Obama. Rogers gave a forceful “no,” said he agreed with the British that the claims were nonsense, and acknowledged that Trump’s allegation was unhelpful and “clearly frustrates a key ally of ours.”
  2. On Germany: Rogers was asked about Trump’s suggestion to German Chancellor Angela Merkel last week that they both had something in common because they’d been wiretapped by Obama. Rogers said it was unhelpful for Trump to raise this controversial incident, which became public due to leaks by Edward Snowden. “It certainly complicates things,” Rogers said. More at Axios

Enter Glenn S. Gerstell:

Mar 2, 2017We were delighted to have Mr. Glenn S. Gerstell, General Counsel of the National Security Agency, as our keynote speaker for the Saturday …topic:

NSA General Counsel Glenn Gerstell on “Confronting the Cybersecurity Challenge”

And just who is Glenn Gerstell?

NSA Appoints Obama Bundler As New Top Lawyer (2015)

Washington attorney and Obama fundraiser Glenn Gerstell gets tapped for the top legal post at the nation’s largest intelligence agency.

As the NSA’s top lawyer, Gerstell would be a part of the agency’s senior leadership team and advise the director, Admiral Michael Rogers. In the wake of the Edward Snowden leaks, the general counsel has also been tasked with speaking publicly about the NSA’s actions and defending their legality.

In 2011, Obama appointed Gerstell to the National Infrastructure Advisory Committee. The group, which is part of the Homeland Security Department, advises the president and other U.S. officials on matters of infrastructure and cybersecurity. Gerstell served in a volunteer part-time position, according to his online résumé.More at Daily Beast

Who in the world was Michael Hastings who died in a fiery car crash?

With the latest dump by Assange, we owe Michael Hastings a return look at his death. More and more the unbelievable is believable.

Recall FBI Director: I have to check to see if Obama can kill citizens on U.S. soil January 26, 2013. My previous post: Obama’s CIA Chief Brennan Behind Journalist’s Murder?  I digressed. Here we go:

Probably the most startling portion of this dump is the revelation that the CIA has gained the ability to “hack” into recent cars through their control systems. Note that we are not even talking about self-driving cars (which will certainly become 100% CIA-remote-controlled), but regular cars with computerized components (around 2011 and earlier). Why would they want to do that? To “engage in nearly undetectable assassinations”.

“As of October 2014 the CIA was also looking at infecting the vehicle control systems used by modern cars and trucks. The purpose of such control is not specified, but it would permit the CIA to engage in nearly undetectable assassinations”

These revelations shed a new light on the very mysterious death of journalist Michael Hastings, who lost his life after his car suddenly went out of control and crashed.

Hastings was a journalist, a contributing editor to Rolling Stone and reporter for BuzzFeed. He became a vocal critic of the surveillance state during the investigation of reporters by the U.S. Department of Justice in 2013, referring to the restrictions on the freedom of the press by the Obama administration as a “war” on journalism. His last story, “Why Democrats Love to Spy On Americans”, was published by BuzzFeed on June 7. Hastings died in a fiery high-speed automobile crash on June 18, 2013, in Los Angeles, California.

On June 18, 2013, Hastings died in a single vehicle automobile crash in his Mercedes C250 Coupé at approximately 4:25 a.m. in the Hancock Park neighborhood of Los Angeles. A witness to the crash said the car seemed to be traveling at maximum speed and was creating sparks and flames before it fishtailed and crashed into a palm tree. Video from a nearby security camera purportedly shows Hastings’ vehicle speeding and bursting into flames.

Witnesses described the car’s engine being ejected 50 to 60 yards (46–55 m) from the scene. Hastings’ body was burned beyond recognition. The coroner identified the body by matching fingerprints with those the FBI had on file. Two days after the crash, the Los Angeles Police Department declared that there were no signs of foul play. The coroner’s report ruled the death to be an accident. An autopsy showed that the cause of death was massive blunt force trauma consistent with a high-speed crash.
– Los Angeles Times, “Michael Hastings death: New video of crash emerges”

A news article from 2015 actually mentioned that Hasting’s death was most like the result of a “car cyber attack”.

Former U.S. National Coordinator for Security, Infrastructure Protection, and Counter-terrorism Richard A. Clarke said that what is known about the crash is “consistent with a car cyber attack”. He was quoted as saying “There is reason to believe that intelligence agencies for major powers — including the United States — know how to remotely seize control of a car. So if there were a cyber attack on [Hastings’] car — and I’m not saying there was, I think whoever did it would probably get away with it.”

“Hastings’ work as a thorn in the side of government and the 33-year-old journalist’s death in an unusual crash in June 2013 immediately triggered speculation. A witness reported seeing Hastings’ new silver Mercedes C250 coupe speeding down a Hollywood street before dawn when it bounced, slammed into a tree and burst into flames.

Shortly before Hastings’ death, he sent what was described as a “panicky” email to friends expressing concern that associates were being interviewed by “the Feds.” He also wrote that he was onto a big story and needed to “get off the radar for a bit.” His 2010 story for Rolling Stone in which Stanley McChrystal skewered the White House and its strategy in Afghanistan led to the general’s resignation.

The FBI denied Hastings was the target of any investigation, yet a Freedom of Information Act request later unearthed an FBI file on Hastings. Hastings also told a neighbor he thought someone had been tampering with his car. At the time of his death, he was working on an article about CIA director John Brennan.
– Who.What.Why, “CAR HACKING REPORT REFUELS CONCERNS ABOUT MICHAEL HASTINGS CRASH”

According to several sources, Hasting’s last days very hectic.

“In an email to colleagues, which was copied to and released by Hastings’ friend, Army Staff Sergeant Joe Biggs, Hastings said that he was “onto a big story”, that he needed to “go off the radar”, and that the FBI might interview them. WikiLeaks announced that Hastings had also contacted Jennifer Robinson, one of its lawyers, a few hours prior to the crash, and the LA Weekly reported that he was preparing new reports on the CIA at the time of his death. His widow Elise Jordan said his final story was a profile of CIA Director John O. Brennan. The FBI released a statement denying that Hastings was being investigated.

USA Today reported that in the days before his death, Hastings believed his car was being “tampered with” and that he was scared and wanted to leave town.

‘At 12:30 a.m. on the morning he died, an agitated Michael Hastings went to his neighbor and friend Jordanna Thigpen and asked to borrow her car. He said he was afraid to drive his own car, because he believed that someone had been tampering with it.

“He was scared, and he wanted to leave town,” Thigpen recalls.

But she declined, saying her car was having mechanical problems. When she woke up, Hastings was dead, his car having crashed into a tree.’

Huckabee – Something Happened To FBI Director Comey, Needs To Resign

The presser by Assange yesterday was chilling for those who heard it in its entirety. For that matter for anyone that even caught a smidgen of it since the media and even bloggers have shown or posted little of it. So our T.V, phones and microwave are portals into the ether. But we really knew it…. those of us wearing tin foil have posted on the fact previously. Setting that aside, where do we go from here? One thing is for sure, FBI Comey and the NSA, CIA will not go quietly into that dark night. Earlier posts: Comey: Citizens Should Have No Secrets That The Government Can’t Access, and FBI James Comey, the ultimate chameleon who sold his soul?

Huckabee made some excellent points yesterday on Fox… worth consideration. Here are partial notes from the clip:

Huckabee’s comments are much less measured and much more honest than those of General Hayden. “There are some things that we need to know about as American citizens, particularly if it potentially violates every constitutional right that Americans have. If our government is spying on us, if our government is holding back secrets about us and stealing things from us in the way of information, then something is rotten, not just in Denmark. It’s rotten in DC and we’ve got to get to the bottom of it because otherwise we don’t have this great republic that most of us believe that we have.”

Huckabee says, “That’s why Shannon, this is terrible. I think this thing stinks bigger than the hog barn at the Iowa State Fair. And even when Michael Hayden talks, he doesn’t say that the Russians did it. He says, ‘I think they might have.’ Here’s what we do know. There was information being shared by the Obama administration to the Clinton campaign. Robbie Mook said that on Tuesday on Fox and Friends.

Comey: Citizens Should Have No Secrets That The Government Can’t Access

James Comey, the ultimate Universal Man, a wolf in sheep’s clothes or a chameleon? He has been a Prosecutor, Lobbyist, Hedge Fund operator, Chairman of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. For some reason, Obama felt safe enough to appoint him head of the FBI. let us take a second look at his background. This is taken from a number of my posts since 2013. First his view on spying.

The latest sign of this stealth takeover of civil rights and freedom was epitomized in recent Senate testimony by FBI Director James Comey, who voiced his objections to civilian use of encryption to protect personal data – information the government has no automatic right to obtain.

As reported by The New American, Comey testified that he believes the government’s spy and law enforcement agencies should have unfettered access to everything Americans may store or send in electronic format: On computer hard drives, in so-called i-clouds, in email and in text messaging – for our own safety and protection. Like many in government today, Comey believes that national security is more important than constitutional privacy protections or, apparently, due process. After all, aren’t criminals the only ones who really have anything to hide?

In testimony before a hearing of the Senate Judiciary Committee entitled “Going Dark: Encryption, Technology, and the Balance Between Public Safety and Privacy” Comey said that in order to stay one step ahead of terrorists, as well as international and domestic criminals, Uncle Sam’s various spy and law enforcement agencies should have access to available technology used to de-encrypt protected data. Also, he believes the government should be the final arbiter deciding when decryption is necessary.More over at  Zero Hedge

He voted for Carter in 1980, but in ’84, Comey: “I voted for Reagan—I’d moved from Communist to whatever I am now. I’m not even sure how to characterize myself politically. Maybe at some point, I’ll have to figure it out.”

“I had no sense whether Jim was an R or a D,” says Eric Holder Jr., who worked closely with Comey when Holder was deputy attorney general to Janet Reno in the Clinton administration—and who remains a confirmed D.

Sounds like a man with a story. Where did he start? In law. He was a partner at firm McGuireWoods, where, among other things, he successfully defended a company against claims its machinery had caused asbestos-related injuries.

And from there? From there he moved into public prosecution and eventually came to the attention of President George W Bush, who appointed him deputy attorney general of the United States in 2003. But he left after two years in the role.

To do what? Sell tanks, bombs and jets to drop them from. He joined Lockheed Martin, one of the world’s largest defence contractors, as senior vice-president. (A Lobbyist)

In 2005, Comey left law enforcement for the defense industry, joining money-in-politics powerhouse Lockheed Martin. As senior vice president and general counsel he earned more than $6 million in compensation in his last full year with the company.

And then? Dipped his toe in the world of hedge funds at Bridgewater Associates before joining the board of HSBC Holdings.

The author of this piece makes a prescient observation regarding the Comey Ashcroft relationship:

On the surface, it’s an odd pairing: Comey—who cites liberal theologian Reinhold Niebuhr as a formative influence, and who can sing along with Good Charlotte pop-punk hits—and Ashcroft, a reactionary born-again Christian who breaks into spirited renditions of biblical hymns. There’s little risk Comey will lose his sense of humor in his new job. It’s only his soul that’s up for grabs

Now we know why it was so odd.

Oh, by the way, where’s John Ashcroft today? Why he’s on the Board of Directors of Blackwater USA,which now goes by the harmless sounding name – Academi – conjuring up images of ivy-covered buildings and lounging intellectuals.

Comey and Ashcroft – Lockheed Martin and Blackwater: Defenders of our civil liberties?

Eric Holder? He is now a white-collar defense attorney at a firm that lobbies for major banks, pharmaceutical companies and defense contractors.

FBI has names of CIA leakers, says former U.S. Attorney

One can only wonder why Trump doesn’t get on this and rid himself of the Obama rats nipping at his heels. The plants were left there to do what they could in destroying his administration. As far as the GOP? Only to happy to go along with letting Trump and his appointees spin in the wind with non support. Here tis:

secretCIA officials know who has been leaking classified information to The New York Times and The Washington Post, and the officials have passed that information on to Attorney General Jeff Sessions, according to a former U.S. attorney for President Ronald Reagan.

“[This] confirms former Obama administration officials are in fact disclosing and discussing classified information with the press.”

The New York Times revealed in a report Wednesday that President Obama’s staffers left bread crumbs for anyone looking to undermine the Trump administration throughout the federal government. The revelation by The Times indicates how a steady drip of embarrassing leaks has tormented the new administration of President Donald Trump.

Some of the information reportedly planted by Obama officials had to do with alleged ties between President Trump’s “associates” — The Times does not define that term — and Russian officials.

Apparently, the Obama administration wanted to leave plenty of ammunition for leakers to keep hot the theme that Trump and his allies are connected to Moscow.

But diGenova, well-known former U.S. Attorney, said the bigger story is the ongoing war of leaks between entrenched federal employees, loyal to Obama, and the new Trump White House.
