Buttigieg: “I don’t care if millions of American possibly lose their private Healthcare

The statement reflects exactly what the democrat candidates think about the voters. “I don’t care.” It is going to be their way or the highway…and the candidates think this going to get them elected? Why yes, probably so. Anyone but Trump. On second thought I think I will rubberneck tonight and take a look at the debate.

Townhall reports:

Buttigieg on Private Insurance: ‘I Don’t Care’ if People Lose Preferred Coverage

Healthcare is a center-stage issue for the 2020 election cycle, both in the Democratic primary and the general election. Democratic contenders have differing views on healthcare, but all candidates want government to take up a bigger role in the insurance market.

Far-left candidates, Sens. Bernie Sanders (D-VT) and Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) have pledged to completely destroy the private insurance market with a Medicare for All system, which boats a trillion dollar price tag.

Former Vice President Joe Biden, Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) and Pete Buttigieg have all come out in favor of plans with a more modest cost; although these plans, similar to a public option, require less government funding, each still represents an overhaul of the insurance market.

Pete Buttigieg, who has emerged as a top-tier candidate after the Iowa caucuses, causually brushed off the fact that millions of Americans would lose their preferred insurance under a system exclusively run by the government, as we’ve seen under the Affordable Care Act:

Other than that all is well in the swamp

Somebody forgot to tell the candidates that Obama already fixed healthcare. 😉 Back when Obamacare was being debated at least they were lying to us about being able to keep our coverage, now they are just coming right out and telling us they do not care if we do. I cannot understand how this is a winning strategy, especially with the unions, but like you said it is anybody but Trump with these people.

I can’t think of anything else for the life of me…why on earth would anyone rush headlong into a Marxist/socialist state which has such a “rich” history?

My wife is British. She’s had NHS healthcare (or lack of it) for all her life. The NHS basically killed off her mum and her best friend. Have a medical problem? Take a number. Wait. What? The disease has already spread too far? Too bad. Next. None of their “junior” doctors are qualified for much more than examining sore throats. Need surgery? A surgeon will not lower him or herself to talk directly to the patient. So my wife is amazed at our health care system, where doctors actually talk to you, where tests and diagnostics are efficient and immediately read, where specialist physicians coordinate with the GPs, and where nurses are polite and caring. Now … what kind of an idiot wants to change this into a demonstrated disaster in health care?

Obamacare has already destroyed the better part of our healthcare…way too many NP and PA’s … I want a real doc when I need healthcare….
Sorry to hear Mustang…..but that is how is goes and no one wants to pay attention since most don’t find themselves in difficult healthcare situations,

Don’t you like how Bernie slams the US health care system and elevates socialism (especially in health care). But where does he go when he has a heart attack? Does he go to Britain, Canada, Cuba, or Venezuela?

As much as he has been lecturing us on climate change, you would think that he would donate his jet to the Treasury and show some consistency by going to a socialist state for health care.

While we all may be calling “Doctor, doctor” after a few more years of the ACA (or any Democrat plan), let me suggest that (considering the way Buttigieg slips so easily from topic to topic) the theme for the Buttigieg campaign should be:
    Smooth Operator.

Does Pete realize that under stripped down medicare for all there are things that won’t be covered and he and his husband will need to pay out of pocket things like butt plugs, oral dams and Preparation H? Although with a democrat plan those items may fal under birth control and thereby be covered.

I figure you could come up with one… that is an oldie I never heard before…. :). They have no idea what destroying Medicare will do.. It will bankrupt hospitals that is for sure. But then just get out the death panels and throw grandma off the cliff…

I just ran across a quote from Buttigieg where he sounded like he was going to fully go against Obamacare and allow us to build cross-state groups that could pool costs. Now, in this case, he sounds like he is doubling down on the ACA. Is this another lesson that Democrats say whatever the current audience wants to hear (knowing that the main stream media — especially that Buttigieg-loving idiot called “Wallace” — will not hold them to task)?

If we only look at the history of decisions made by the federal establishment, by the alleged “better educated” class of people that form the Congress of the United States, we cannot make the argument that their decisions have been sound or beneficial to the people of the United States. Quite the contrary in fact. With this knowledge, who in their right mind can support politicians whose agenda spell the end of the American Republic? This worm is just another in a long line of insects whose decisions, whose policies, have materially injured the American people. It is a history that prompts one to conclude that the number one enemy of the American people is any politician, and Democrats more than most. Trust these bastards at your own peril and that of your progeny.

I saw what the true nature of most people were /are when I lived in a condo which included all kinds of amenities..Indoor outdoor pool, gym, the works. Of course, those who wished to control others ran for the board. I served on the board as President….a lesson learned more important than any Masters degree in the baseness of human nature and how destructive it could be. The wish to control others is a primitive instinct apparently….

Traveling through Newark and Elizabeth earlier today I reflected on how great our federal government is. What other entity in the hands of compassionate politicians (LBJ come to mind?) could all in one fell swoop destroy neighborhoods, destroy families and destroy lives and out of the ashes and on the backs of the victims build an inter-generational loyal voter base i.e the plantation. The difference between then and now is that today those who have everything will vote for those who plan to take away their stuff and give them crumbs in exchange while beginning 60 years ago people were willing to prostrate themselves to get free stuff… didn’t work out so well huh? Never forget the old adage: There is no free lunch, but we on the right know that.

So many past presidents belonged in jail rather than the White House, and LBJ is one of those. Here’s an idea: rather than paying these guys exceptional retirement salaries and providing them with armed security for the rest of their lives, why not just put them in a federal prison where armed security and free meals comes with the room? And when they die, rather than erecting a presidential library to remember them, dump their bodies in a land fill. Could save us lots of money in the long run.
