The keys to understanding the origin of the Trump – Russia investigation

Another home run by Maria Bartiromo on “Sunday Morning Futures.” If ever there was an interview to be viewed in its entirety it’s this one with George Papadopoulous. After a few minutes of watching, I guarantee you will not be able to put it down. The Russia spy pieces all come together. It should scare the dickens out of all of us and new information is riveting. The interview starts a few minutes from the beginning.

Further on in the program, Rep. Devin Nunes, the ranking member of the House Intel Committee, speaks about his investigation into the origins of the Trump-Russia investigation and why the tale of Joseph Mifsud and George Papadopoulos is key to understanding what happened.

DEVIN NUNES: Well, it’s beyond me. I never knew you could use counterintelligence capabilities, these are the capabilities in our government to go after and target terrorists. I never knew that you could actually go out and use those capabilities to spy on Americans, and we don’t know all of this yet for sure, but we have strong suspicions that that is exactly what was happening. And you really only have to look at the text messages from Strzok and Page who were the FBI agents who were the lead that ultimately served on the Mueller dossier team. They were texting about this stuff.

MARIA BARTIROMO: They wanted an insurance policy.

DEVIN NUNES: That’s right.

Note the timeline for George Papadopoulos. He had several “run ins” with Western (UK, Italian, Australian) intel agents well before he met with Alexander Downer, the Australian diplomat that the FBI claims is the reason they had suspicions about him and other Trump aids.

In truth, Papadopoulos had never met with anybody from Russia prior to the FBI running secret agents at him. And to date, he has never met with anyone from Russia. Yet, we are somehow supposed to believe that the FBI was so “concerned”about Russian efforts to infiltrate the Trump campaign? There was absolutely no evidence to even investigate Papadopoulos.

Now that they can’t prove COLLUSION, 375 prosecutors today, Left and Right, have signed a statement which says TRUMP WOULD HAVE BEEN INDICTED WERE HE NOT PRESIDENT. I can’t stand the hate….just can’t stand it. and that’s all this is…

The sweetest revenge is when Trump gets four more years, and the reaper who tried to destroy him will be paid in full. I do believe it can happen. Trump will be relentless when he gets four more years. They will go psychotic totally.

I hope so…I REALLY DO….but stories, drip drip drip, like the ones we’re hearing don’t help anybody get reelected. Still, until the next destroyed generation which is in high school now starts to vote, we have a chance! (and I must add that, because I’m around high schoolers a LOT, I’m starting to feel that a few of them still are smart enough to understand that loving and supporting your country should at least include loyalty to that country and its history and its values, so they’re not ALL lost!)

Keep this in mind: we’d never know any of this if HRC had been elected.

What a complex crock of #@*!! I’m hoping that what we’ll get from this is a deliberate investigation and a resulting full report on what happened, who did it, and then most important of all, indictments. If it is a “fast” investigation, then it isn’t really an investigation—it’s politics. I’m tired of politics. I want the law to work, and I want the American people able to see that the law is working … that everyone is equal under the law.
