Go figure this one out. Trying to save Christians and Yazidis in Iraq? Apparently we will leave that to the UN. But Secretary Tillerson is more than happy to bail out the Muslims in Burma. You can bet they will be getting refugee status and moving here to our quaint little towns in places like Idaho and other rural communities because that is the way this stupid stuff rolls:
Human rights activists and Catholic groups are questioning why the State Department still appears reluctant to direct money Congress appropriated to assist Christians, Yazidis, and other persecuted religious minorities in Iraq but this week quickly dispatched $32 million to help a majority Muslim group fleeing violence in Burma.
Tillerson’s quick efforts to help the Rohingya demonstrated the State Department’s ability to quickly direct humanitarian aid to a threatened minority group. However, critics say the swift action stands in sharp contrast to State’s foot-dragging when it comes to directing funds to Yazidis, Christians, and other religious minorities facing genocide in Iraq.
Despite the congressional commitment, lawmakers and human rights activists say most of the U.S. taxpayer money going to help people in Iraq is channeled through the United Nations, which has a “religion-blind” policy of distributing most of the money to refugee camps that Yazidis and Christians avoid out of fear of further violence and persecution.
“It is always good when people who are in danger are helped. But why is there a terrible disparity between our government’s treatment of the Rohingya Muslims in Burma and the absolute lack of help for Yazidis and Christians in Iraq, whom Secretary Tillerson declared last month to be victims of genocide?” asked Nina Shea, an international human rights lawyer who directs the Hudson Institute’s Center for Religious Freedom.

I don’t see this as a taxpayer problem, more of a religious one. Let the churches help save them. Enough with the nation building.

What’s truly sad,or sadistic depending on on’s perspective is knowing that the Vatican’s riches and influence dwarfs that of the Saudi’s and all the Soroses of the world rolled into one and yet as far as we know there is no help for the Christians coming from that quarter. Meanwhile the Catholic and other christian relief agencies are raking in the millions from the US taxpayers. What a corrupt world and country we live in that f__ks us on a daily basis. Rather simplistic I know but it pretty much sums up what is going on.

I thought about adding your points at the time… what is even worse is the Vatican if anything is trying to portray itself as Muslim pals. Meanwhile the church agencies are dumping the refuse all over America and getting rich. Add to that the Church’s support for sanctuary cities whereby the criminals are permitted to have their way with American citizens.

Maybe not so much a mistake perhaps? Seems he could shuffle some bills over to Burma….without the UN….

First of all, I’m shocked … shocked to hear that an “international human rights lawyer” voice any concern at all for Christians. Amazing … either that or poor Nina is never invited to any of the international human rights lawyer outings.
What we as a nation have to learn (apparently one of our hardest lessons to learn) is that there is never any appreciation whatsoever for the aid and comfort we provide to people around the world. Will any of these Moslem children grow up feeling gratitude to the American people for their Judeo-Christian generosity? No.
It is difficult to imagine that we have people here at home who are desperate for our attention, who won’t get our attention because our elected government would rather feed the children of radical Moslems, or children in Africa whose parents are too stupid to even know how to feed their own offspring. If our priorities were in order, then we should begin with charity at home, reaching out to suffering and persecuted Christians, and our absolute LAST priority would be feeding the children who will one day grow up to kill our grand-children.

Reblogged this on Brittius and commented:
Answer is simply because congress has taken Islamic fundamentalist money for so long, the congress is owned and does the bidding of anti-Christians. Could there be another anti-Christian group out there? Of course, and their money also, poisons our congress.

Poor Muslims in Burma… my heart really bleeds for them.. For once they got a taste of it and of course we will come to the rescue. The swamp reeks of the smell of Muslim money floating in that hell hole in D.C.
