Mooch’s new food czar to bring ‘Food Justice’

If we thought that Mooch’s last food czar was a tough one, wait until her latest pick gets rolling. “Food justice” is the name of the game, and one can bet that the phone and pen will be out in full force. By contrast, I will give you a clip of John Adams to encourage those of us who are discouraged. Almost all of our founders lost everything so that we might enjoy Liberty. Let us not forget the sacrifices they made and not dishonor them

First Lady Michelle Obama named the new Executive Director of Let’s Move on Thursday, Debra Eschmeyer, a self-described “food justice” activist who believes that all aspects of food production and consumption should be “shared fairly.”Eschmeyer was asked in an interview in May 2011 what her definition of “food justice” is.

“I was an editor of ‘Food Justice’ (the new book by Robert Gottlieb and Anupama Joshi) so I spent several years thinking about the definition,” she said. “Food justice seeks to ensure that the benefits and risks of where, what, and how food is grown, produced, transported, distributed, accessed, and eaten are shared fairly.”

“It represents a transformation of the current food system, including but not limited to eliminating disparities and inequities,” Eschmeyer added.

Food Justice, published by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), argues that the food system needs to be “transformed” because of too many fast food restaurants and “food deserts.”

Eschmeyer said during the interview she focuses on everything from “food policy, Farm to School, school gardens, school food, rural sociology, obesity, dairy policy, commodity policy, food justice … basically from seed to stomach. The whole gamut.”

Complete absurdity comes from that cow. When did that heifer ever eat properly before she became the biggest mooch at the trough in 2008? A food czar? She ought to begin to clean up her act before she preaches to others. She could start with cleaning out the tamale stash in the freezer.

A great scene from a great mini-series but sadly our free country is slipping away from us a little at a time. We should all heed James Madison’s warning: I believe there are more instances of the abridgment of the freedom of the people by gradual and silent encroachments of those in power, than by violent and sudden usurpations. Truer words might never have been spoken…

Hypocritical, the Queen using the word Justice at all ~ esp. about food when this Regime supports the GMO/RoundUP spray. “Let’s Move” them out of the country to where they feel at home in a 3rd World County, instead of their efforts to downgrade America to their debased level of comfort. The very additives the gov. allows and supports (cha-chin, cha-chin), do havoc on the functioning of the human body (that make people fat and listless), just like they do to the spirit and soul of individuals (destitute, eyes are darkened, as is their understanding). “…the mouth of fools feedeth on foolishness.”

We have the greatest opportunity the world has ever seen, as long as we remain honest which will be as long as we can keep the attention of our people alive. Zip…I like you. 🙂 What you say is exactly correct. The ‘Queen’ dons her robe and preaches about Justice, food justice. Really? Our foods (fresh and all, even organic isn’t exactly organic unless you grow it yourself) are most definitely filled with so much crap that our bodies have no choice but work overtime to defend themselves. The truth is that we have no clue what is going into our bodies every single day and would probably be beyond horrified! If she wants to do something good, attack the things that need attacking…Did you know we are the only country that still allows red dye, even though it has been proven to cause seizures in children? Jump on that band-wagon Michele!

Thanks Lorra – you’re right about the ‘who know what’ that’s RDA allowed & approved in our food/ water (fluoride), dyes (Sunset yellow) skin products etc. But the Queen works so hard for all the tax payers money she spends – that’s another sickening subject. Which the ‘blinder wearers’ protect this frauds, accusing the Repubs for spending more. How about if both parties were Pro-Americans and spent their own money on themselves and their booze vacations.

Lorra, Just found this and thought to add it: http://www.whydontyoutrythis.com/2013/06/comprehensive-list-of-gmo-products-and-companies.html When Liars run the show why would they want us to be healthy – poisoning the food, air and water is their logical attack (even their own ‘expendables’), all the while advertising the ‘image’ of health and betterment.
