BLM on the move, seizes Texas Rancher’s land. No compensation

Don’t say we didn’t warn you. In a unreported story that was dumped on Good Friday, we told you this was coming.

Obama proclaims National Park Week – highlights sticking it to us by creating ‘monuments’

Keep in mind that a so-called monument can amount to millions of acres confiscated.

During my time as President, I have been proud to build on this tradition by establishing 10 new National Monuments. These sites honor American heroes from Harriet Tubman to Cesar Chavez. They conserve the diverse wildlife and rugged landscapes that reflect our character as a people. And just as our parks nourish our spirits, they bolster our livelihoods, attracting tourists to communities across our country and bringing customers to local businesses. For every dollar we invest in our National Parks, America generates 10 dollars in economic value. (Oh Please).

BLM Seizes Texas Rancher’s Land – Without Compensation

After Breitbart Texas reported on the U.S. Bureau of Land Management’s (BLM) intent to seize 90,000 acres belonging to Texas landholders along the Texas/Oklahoma line, Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott questioned the BLM’s authority to take such action.

“I am about ready,” General Abbott told Breitbart Texas, “to go to the Red River and raise a ‘Come and Take It’ flag to tell the feds to stay out of Texas.”

Gen. Abbott sent a strongly-worded letter to BLM Director Neil Kornze, asking for answers to a series of questions related to the potential land grab.

In an exclusive interview with Breitbart Texas, General Abbott said, “This is the latest line of attack by the Obama Administration where it seems like they have a complete disregard for the rule of law in this country …And now they’ve crossed the line quite literally by coming into the State of Texas and trying to claim Texas land as federal land. And, as the Attorney General of Texas I am not going to allow this.”

Abbott challenged the BLM director directly stating in his letter, “Nearly a century ago, the U.S. Supreme Court determined that the gradient line of the south bank of the Red River—subject to the doctrines of accretion and avulsion—was the boundary between Texas and Oklahoma. Oklahoma v. Texas, 260 U.S. 606 (1923). More recently, in 1994, the BLM stated that the Red River area was “[a] unique situation” and stated that ‘[t]he area itself cannot be defined until action by the U.S. Congress establishes the permanent state boundary between Oklahoma and Texas.’  Further, the BLM determined that one possible scenario was legislation that established the ‘south geologic cut bank as the boundary,’ which could have resulted ‘in up to 90,000 acres’ of newly delineated federal land.  But no such legislation was ever enacted.”

When eminent domain was voted on to allow land to be taken for the taxable income is when the American land started being taken in droves!
Eminent domain laws need to be changed.

I agree with Jim and Zip, it appears as if the BLM is trying to provoke people into action. So is Harry Reid. It is sickening and I hate the fact I feel this way but that certainly seems to be what the intent is.

Thanks for posting this, Bunker. I planed the last two days to do a post on this but my internet connection hasn’t been cooperating. Zip has a point. It does seem the government is intentionally trying to provoke trouble.

Well, as zip says…tell me who your friends are and I’ll tell you who you are. Maybe be aware if a “patriot” converges with others on a scene and says “I’m here for support with my ’30 gun clip’.” lol. Seems to have worked to kill our troops in Afghanistan pretty well. Heads up is all that is meant.

Do you have a sense that the Regime is forcing the issue? Pushing the envelop in hopes to use the power to ‘contain, shoot and conquer’ when people begin to fight back. How many of their spies have infiltrated as ‘masquerading’ patriots do you suppose have be stationed in these Constitutional based groups – purposed to fire the first shot off to begin the confrontation – legitimize the gov,’s use of Retaliating Force! (Using some of their taxed payers stockpiled ammo). It’s so easy to ‘set up’ the scene with a stooge. Have some ‘Crisis Actors’ in reserve and open the show.
Plus using the ‘obomba drone’ as the globalist weapon of choice. Instead of strapping a bomb on him, they use him to order the pushing of the buttons – or like one Washington insider stated, that Barack (Insane) actually gets to ‘play the drone game’ in ‘real time’ (explaining why nearby women and children get shot along with so-called rebels – he’s not very at just ‘getting’ the targets). He’s being booed by the Filipinos w/ signs “Obama not welcome.” Even they know!

I think this has been going on for some time, and it reached critical mass with the Bundy mess. Still we need to remain cool. super cool and not let them dictate our reaction.

The BLM picked the wrong state. I have no doubt AG Abbott would fight this no matter the circumstances, but running for Governor will give him extra motivation to stand up to the BLM land thieves. And not a peep out of Abortion Barbie Wendy Davis that I’ve seen.
