Bet the Red States will be high on his list for destinations. Wonder why I think that. Yet he refuses to enforce our Immigration laws. Sanctuary cities comes to mind.
The Obama administration is warning states that they cannot refuse to accept refugees fleeing war-torn Syria, saying that noncompliant states may be subject to penalties.
The federal Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) said in a letter to state agencies on Wednesday that they cannot withhold services to refugees based on their country of origin or religion.
“Accordingly, states may not categorically deny ORR-funded benefits and services to Syrian refugees,” the letter said. “Any state with such a policy would not be in compliance with the State Plan requirements, applicable statutes, and their own assurances, and could be subject to enforcement action, including suspension and termination.”
The letter cited the 1964 Civil Rights Act, which bars discrimination on the basis of race or country or origin.
“Thus, it is not permissible to deny federally funded benefits such as Medicaid or TANF to refugees who otherwise meet the eligibility requirements.”

For a guy who allegedly was a “Law instructor,” the fool needs to watch who he’s threatening. Hi might want to check out the Tenth Amendment. There have been many Syrians living in this country for many years and they’ve gotten along just fine. It will be interesting to see if the states stand up to the Feds or if they cave. The problem is all the Federal money the states accept; because of this it is easy to threaten the states and to make them conform to the Federal government and I am willing to bet most of them will cave if they find out they will lose this money.

Hmmm….I do have sympathy for the refugees. however. There is no way to vet them. And the Christian Syrians that are already here, are understandably terrified since many of the current refugees are guilty of terrorizing the last group, the Christians.
So. It seems I’m left pointing out, once again, that the states COLLECT THE MONEY they send to the feds. If the feds threaten sanctions all the states have to do is QUIT SENDING THEM THEIR MONEY.

Some Muslims in Germany are becoming CHristians…Germans know that it very well could be a ruse because they get amazing benefits from becoming members of a church. Happily, more and more in Islam ARE becoming people of Christian faith, MANY of them, but this is also a worrisome development…this, and the fact that the koran says it’s okay to lie if it’s for their god.
I have sympathy for them, too, but if we hear one more time that refugees are vetted, then we have to know this administration thinks we’re even dumber than they thought we were.
And, after all, O did say yesterday that the refugees are like our Pilgrims….he’ll do ANYTHING to get his way.
