No one mentions Communist Dolores Huerta gets Medal of Freedom Award

 Well here is one of the recent winners of the Medal of Freedom that we just didn’t get much of a chance to hear about. Dolores Huerta.

President Barack Obama gave the United States’ top civilian honor on Tuesday to musician Bob Dylan, but how about our gal Dolores?

 So allow me to fill in the blanks and share with you the background of someone who Obama finds worthy of the award. She was the long time partner of the late Richard Chavez, brother of United Farm Workers founder Cesar Chavez. A single mother of 7 children. I think you will find the video heart warming. After a few seconds of letting us know of our “rights” as an illegal, she moves on to tell us how grand it is in Chavez’s Venezuela. I look forward to hearing from Jim, over at Conservatives on Fire

During the ceremony today President Obama admitted he stole her slogan “Yes we can!” for his 2008 campaign.

Heritage reported:

President Obama awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom on Tuesday to Dolores Huerta, an 82-year-old labor activist and co-founder of the United Farm Workers union. DSA describes itself as “the largest socialist organization in the United States, and the principal U.S. affiliate of the Socialist International.”

Huerta has claimed, “Republicans hate Latinos,” and has spoken fondly of Hugo Chavez’s despotic regime in Venezuela. H/T: Gateway Pundit
