Obama White House attempted to take over Spygate Investigation UPDATE

Those who watched Hannity last night are waiting for the forthcoming documents promised for today. This would be a game changer as it looks like the date of commencement of the investigation began much earlier.  This won’t jibe with the dates given out previously.

White House involvement? Hmm.

I will update the post if the promised reveal is posted by Solomon: UPDATE:

The bridge to the Russia investigation wasn’t erected in Moscow during the summer of the 2016 election.

It originated earlier, 1,700 miles away in London, where foreign figures contacted Trump campaign advisers and provided the FBI with hearsay allegations of Trump-Russia collusion, bureau documents and interviews of government insiders reveal. These contacts in spring 2016 — some from trusted intelligence sources, others from Hillary Clinton supporters — occurred well before FBI headquarters authorized an official counterintelligence investigation on July 31, 2016.

The new timeline makes one wonder: Did the FBI follow its rules governing informants?

Here’s what a congressman and an intelligence expert think.“The revelation of purposeful contact initiated by alleged confidential human sources prior to any FBI investigation is troublesome,” Rep. Mark Meadows (R-N.C.), an ally of President Trump and chairman of a House subcommittee that’s taking an increasingly aggressive oversight role in the scandal, told me.

“This new information begs the questions: Who were the informants working for, who were they reporting to and why has the [Department of Justice] and FBI gone to such great lengths to hide these contacts?”

Back to original post:

John Solomon from The Hill told Sean Hannity on Thursday night the Obama White House attempted to take over the Russian-collusion investigation.

John Solomon: I’m putting finishing touches on a column that I think will come out tomorrow. And it will reveal two really important things.

The efforts to begin targeting and reaching out to Trump campaign officials to gain intelligence on Russia that would ultimately justify the investigation began weeks and maybe months before the FBI had a formal predicate. And that’s very important the rules say you can’t use sources until you have a predicated investigation.

The investigation is July 31, 2016. My sources and documents that I will be able to make public tomorrow will show that there were contacts going on by people identified as informers, informants, people who provided information began much, much earlier than July 31st.

That’s the first part. The second part is as the investigation was just starting to ramp up there are internal FBI documents showing FBI agents talking about the White House trying to take over the investigation. Fears that the Justice Department were going to leak for political reasons and their own personal fear…

Sean Hannity: Slow down. When you say the White House you mean the Obama White House- they were attempting to take over the investigation.

John Solomon: That’s what these messages say.

Attorneys DiGenova and Dershowitz blast Mueller, say what needs to happen next

Here is an interview not to be missed. Hannity had DiGenova and Dershowitz last night discuss what Trump should do next, with both in agreement that Rosenstein needs to go, either fired or recused by Sessions. No mercy for Sessions, and the rest of the cast of characters either. There are no hostages in this take down by these two men. Unbelievable when we find out that the warrant issued against Trump’s lawyers was for an “Access Hollywood” tape. Reports are that the “National Enquirer” is also on the Feds Radar.

Fox News:

Documents related to the infamous 2005 “Access Hollywood” tape featuring President Trump’s vulgar comments about women were being sought during the FBI raid of the office and hotel room of Trump’s personal attorney earlier this week, Fox News confirmed on Wednesday.

DiGenova and Dershowitz interview start after his opening monologue and starts at the 15 minute mark. Slide over to it to start there, though Hannity does a good job setting things up.

Mark Levin supports Giuliani’s Obama comment about USA

Mark Levin on Giuliani’s Comments: Rudy’s Exactly Right…Obama Has Contempt for This Country. After yesterday’s post, “I am mad as hell and I am not going to take it anymore,” apparently Rudy answered us. For once someone has the stuff to call out Obama and tell it like it is. Rudy for Prez.  Rudy came off so badly last time he ran for President, now that was a loss. I think that he is the real thing. Here is a link to the full Hannity interview and worth it if you have the time, below the shorter version.

Longer great Hannity interview

Mother of killed Benghazi man: They Want Me To Shut Up

The mother of Sean Smith, Pat Smith is making the rounds in the media, bringing forward the Benghazi fiasco to the forefront. We still have not heard a word from the 30 or so that did survive. This is a heartbreaker, be warned.

4/5/13 – On Friday, Sean Hannity brought Pat Smith, mother of the late Sean Smith, on his radio program. The 34-year-old information management officer was one of four Americans murdered in the Benghazi embassy attack on September 11, 2012. In the chilling interview, a distraught Ms. Smith, in tears, pleaded for answers and spoke of the efforts to silence her.

Ms. Smith first relayed how her son, prior to the attack, requested additional security in advance and warned the State Department:

When Hannity asked how many times Sean warned the State Department or whom he warned, Smith replied:
My son himself told me that he warned them…. He said: ‘I told them, I sent messages’…. He was on the tele-type of whatever it is… he was on there telling them, just before it happened, and that the guy out there was taking pictures of the place. He was telling them that. He was a communications guy and he was communicating that.
Smith then spoke of the intimidation she has experienced, in her quest for answers, noting she is being silenced, though Hannity clarified it is not by someone in the government:

They don’t tell me much. They want me to shut up…. I was told, and I really would rather not say by who, [though] I can if you need it, but I was told that I’m causing a lot of problems and to shut up…. I told them ‘I will not! I will not shut up until I find out what really happened!’
During the ceremony when the caskets returned, Ms. Smith, who attended and sat next to Colin Powell’s wife, described her interaction at the event with President Obama and Hillary Clinton:

SMITH: The President? I cried on his shoulder. And I was crying there and he’s patting me on the back and looking around to who he’s gonna talk to next. So I didn’t feel any comfort there. Hillary? I cried on her shoulder also, but she paid a little attention to me then walked off. Panetta took my face in his hands. I asked him: “Please, please let me know what happened, I’ve got to know!” And he took my face in his hands and he says, “Trust me, trust me. I will get back to you. I will let you know.” And guess how much I’ve heard from him since?

HANNITY: Nothing.
SMITH: You got it.
Smith and Hannity discussed the importance of answers on the Benghazi attack in order to ensure this does not happen again:

SMITH: I am so disappointed in my government for the way they’re playing this. What they’re playing is politics. And I don’t want to know everything that was going on over there. I know it was secret….
HANNITY: You have a right to know the truth. And you have a right, if your son told you, as he did, he knew that there was an attack coming and he warned them and they did nothing. That means that your son’s death could’ve been prevented and we have an obligation to every single person that is serving this country that this never happen again. It should have never happened to your son or Ty Woods—
SMITH: That’s the reason I keep opening my mouth about it. I want someone to admit it so that it won’t happen again. So that there’s safety there….
Hannity noted how trying to cover this story is “very frustrating,” with Ms. Smith wryly noting: “I know, you won’t find the answer. I’m told it’s too high up.”

The silver lining? Sean Smith will be honored at an award ceremony on May 3rd but Ms. Smith was told she would have to pay her own way. As Ms. Smith’s income is limited to Social Security benefits, she could not afford to attend. Hannity balked at the idea that we justify costs for the First Family’s vacations and the White House concert series and parties, while “the mother of a slain hero from the Benghazi tragedy, which they screwed up because they didn’t listen to your son,” is not accommodated. Smith received a nice surprise — Hannity offered to pay for the all her travel expenses (hotel, round-trip airfare, meals), as well as her guest’s, so that she can attend the ceremony, encouraging Smith to order a “big expensive steak dinner on me… with lobster on the side and a big bottle of wine.” A relieved and emotional Smith happily accepted.

No one mentions Communist Dolores Huerta gets Medal of Freedom Award

Well here is one of the recent winners of the Medal of Freedom that we just didn’t get much of a chance to hear about. Dolores Huerta.
President Barack Obama gave the United States’ top civilian honor on Tuesday to musician Bob Dylan, but how about our gal Dolores?
So allow me to fill in the blanks and share with you the background of someone who Obama finds worthy of the award. She was the long time partner of the late Richard Chavez, brother of United Farm Workers founder Cesar Chavez. A single mother of 7 children. I think you will find the video heart warming. After a few seconds of letting us know of our “rights” as an illegal, she moves on to tell us how grand it is in Chavez’s Venezuela. I look forward to hearing from Jim, over at Conservatives on Fire

Barack Obama gave the Presidential Medal of Freedom to Dolores Huerta, an honorary chair of the Democratic Socialists of America. Check out the link with their National Political Committee Statement on the European Elections just in case you wondered.
During the ceremony today President Obama admitted he stole her slogan “Yes we can!” for his 2008 campaign.

Heritage reported:

President Obama awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom on Tuesday to Dolores Huerta, an 82-year-old labor activist and co-founder of the United Farm Workers union. DSA describes itself as “the largest socialist organization in the United States, and the principal U.S. affiliate of the Socialist International.”

Huerta has claimed, “Republicans hate Latinos,” and has spoken fondly of Hugo Chavez’s despotic regime in Venezuela. H/T: Gateway Pundit

Federal Court Orders Port Chester, New York, to Implement New Voting Methods

Am I the only one who can recall the failed Clinton’s nominee Lani Guinier to the supreme court? She supported “Cumulative voting” in order to achieve a “reparation election” of minorites to elected office. Once the fire storm erupted, Clinton withdrew her name, claiming he was not fully informed of her opinions. She, of course, was an old time school chum of Hillary’s. It’s about “one man, one vote.”

So you can imagine my surprise when I caught this tidbit  last night on Fox. Apparently, there are few of us who share the concern of where we are headed with this. A good reminder for us of Hillary, in case we get carried away, thinking she would have been so much better.

“Cumulative voting” is a method of voting . Under cumulative voting , each voter gets to cast six votes, but not necessarily for six different candidates. He can vote for six different candidates, cast all six votes for one candidate, or any combination in between just as long as he casts no more than six votes for that contest.

The voters of Port Chester, New York, went to the polls on Tuesday, June 15 using cumulative voting and early voting. They did so because the Village of Port Chester was ordered to do so by a federal court. According to Amy Ngai of FairVote, this was the first time such methods of voting were used in the State of New York.

This change in voting methods was in response to a lawsuit filed in 2006 by the U.S. Department of Justice claiming Port Chester’s at-large method of voting had diluted the voting strength of Latino voters.  According to the NYTimes.com coverage of the election, Latinos comprise 49 percent of the approximately 28,000 residents of Port Chester, although not all of them are U.S. citizens.

Excellent history since our founding and background regarding the process for States to determine process for voting found here though I disagree that there is nothing wrong with Cumulative voting: Newamerican here

“Lynyrd Skynyrd Members Talk ‘God and Guns’ with Hannity on FNC”

lynyrd_skynyrd

We know there are citizens in the entertainment world who are NOT all radical liberals. Let’s just hope they see the writing on the wall and keep coming out of the woodwork. It’s time to balance out the likes of Sean Penn, Barbara Streisand, Alec Baldwin, Whoopi Goldberg, Dixie Chicks, Bruce Springsteen etc etc

“On Friday’s Hannity show on FNC, host Sean Hannity showed a pre-recorded interview in which he was joined by members of the rock group Lynyrd Skynyrd – Johnny Van Zant, Rickey Medlocke and Gary Rossington – as the group talked about their latest CD, titled “God and Guns,” and the three expressed their support for such conservative values as belief in God and the Second Amendment right of gun ownership. Medlocke alluded to the importance of being armed if one must face an intruder at home during the night. Medlocke:

But we believe in God, a higher power. And the guns is, is really our freedom of choice. Like you said, the Second Amendment. But we should be able to do what the Second Amendment says. And we should be able to have the right to own and protect our own in our home because if somebody breaks in your home at 3:45 in the morning, they’re not there to have coffee with you. That’s for sure.”
