Warning: Brace Yourself For What’s Coming in 2024 – Victor Davis Hanson

Conservative historian and professor Victor Davis Hanson has released a new video and it is basically a warning for America.

The essence of Hanson’s message is a reminder of how far the left went to stop Trump last time and that people should be prepared for them to do anything this time.

It’s an ominous warning but it’s important to think ahead and be mentally prepared for anything, because that’s what is on the table.

A report at The Gateway Pundit summarized his comments with: “The essence of Hanson’s message is a reminder of how far the left went to stop Trump last time and that people should be prepared for them to do anything this time.”

His comments include: “They look at Trump as a vampire and they put a stake in his heart but they’re afraid that that stake could come out any time. That he’s undying and they’re afraid of him. They are terrified of him.”

He explained, “They are terrified of him because they think he’s smarter this time and he has just cause to really get angry because of what they did to him. They can write all of The Atlantic Monthly and New Yorker clever, glib little essays about ‘Donald Trump is a threat to democracy,’ and their little Molly Ball in Time Magazine essays how clever and brilliant they were with their cabals and conspiracies to get rid of him.

“But deep down inside they know that if the right ever did that to Barack Obama or Joe Biden, they could have really made something out of the fact that Barack Obama had a hot mic expose where he told the president of Russia, ‘You tell Vladimir that I will be flexible on missile defense.’

That’s the security of the United States of America. ‘If he gives me space in my last election.’ Putin did do that. That’s an impeachable offense if a phone call to Ukraine is. So they understand that, the right could have done that to them, and they understand now the right probably will do that to them for their own survival, and they are scared.”

Hanson noted, “They’re saying that if a MAGA candidate wins, and they win the House and Senate, they’re cooked because they’re going to get special prosecutors and go after the Biden family like they’ve never gone after anybody.”

He turned blunt, “You’re never going to see anything like what they’re going to do in 2024.”

And he charged that Democrats simply cannot run on their record, so their only pitch to Americans is a “hate-Trump” ideology.

    This is not hard for Californians to envision. In 1966 Ronald Reagan was elected governor of California. The Dems NEVER expected him to win. They had a little shell game going whereby they had prepared the next year’s budget with 12 months of expenses being paid for by 13 months of income. Reagan’s budget director uncovered that, of course, and it created quite an emergency. That included a true emergency tax increase (which they gave back 2 or 3 years later). The Dems made a lot of hay about THAT (not the fact that they gave it back though) but never made a peep about the REASON for it. And they’re still playing the game, except on the federal level it’s the Uniparty doing it.

    Still, it’s a little historical preview on a much smaller scale. The Dems KNOW how they’d play this – and we do too, because they are jamming on their one-string screeching for all they can milk it for in the persecution of Trump. No wonder they’re nervous. Or should be.

    It looks like we essentially posted on the same thing again.

    I started out by trying to find references to the attack on Jerusalem by Hamas this morning. Then I ran into the quote yesterday by Mayorkas about how 12 million “undocumented” are contributing to our well-being (I guess by using up those excess Social Security, Medicare, and other funds to house them in luxury hotels).

    Then, of course, I ran across all the other stuff they seem to be hiding (or not).

    The public perception to the upcoming Desantis vs Newsom “debate” winner may tell us a lot. Not so much regarding good defeating evil but should Desantis destroy Newsom which would be a no-brainer in a sane world but rather how the left will augment their outright theft of the 2020 election. We the great unwashed on the right would think the run of the mill cheating by poll workers, mailboxes overflowing and cars ferrying trunks filled with unsigned undated ballots, courts looking the other way should be enough; who knows. Should baton wielding thugs park themselves in front of polling places what police departments will have the balls to disperse them? As in 2020 will the democrat machine roll along unencumbered by rules and laws and law enforcement? Keep in mind ballots are printed in Spanish and Chinese along with English. Whike the conjecture looks grim it remains to be seen. Meanwhile it should be said once again, Donald beef up your personal protection.

    As the phantom allegations against Trump all evaporate in to the ethers the real complaint of the Progressive New Left and now the Transgressive comes to light. Trump is not and never has been a clear and present danger to ‘democracy.’ We live in a Constitutional Republic. The only threat he poses is a direct threat to the fourth and fifth branches of our non-coequal branches of government: media and the administrative state. Trump was less sophisticated in 2016, less focused and more distracted. I think he is now laser focused on the problem. It is the administrative state, protected by our propaganda mill once known as national media that is the problem. It is the administrative state and legal and procedural norms crafted to serve that entity and not the public interest that is the problem. Trump is actually thinking about things the RNC fears to talk about: Article V Convention of States: Mark Levin’s 11 Liberty Amendments; Universal School Vouchers and a full restoration of natural and civil rights applied equally to all.

    The DC and Wall Street power elites fear flyover America and fear anyone who will cancel their privilege and power. And that is exactly what the next Trump Team will be focused on doing. He is a clear and present danger to those who actually are a clear and present danger to our Republic.

    As an aside, my gun club hosted a wonderful gathering of Class III Federal Firearms licensees this past Wednesday. We had classic machine-guns from the Axis and Warsaw Pact powers as well as Allied powers from the great contests of the 20th century. Collectors and enthusiasts to include military historians from Japan and elsewhere came to see these wonderfully preserved weapons in action. As I told the group, you have to go to the WW II museum in New Orleans, the Marine Corps Museum in Quantico or one of a very few other military museums just to see these weapons. We got to shoot them. Great day!

    Freedom still rings in some corners of our Republic. Make it once again infectious.

    At my new job, I was sitting near a guy that remarked about how term limits were wrong and I agreed with him.
    He’s a seemingly smart guy, a fellow engineer. Then he said something about Obama should have had a third term.
    I mentioned that we are in it and he scoffed.
    They walk among us.
