Happy Independence Day! – This is my country!

This Is My Country – Mormon Tabernacle Choir gives us some music to send us on our way in having a wonderful holiday with family and friends.

We are so blessed to live in this wonderful Republic. We will never forget the sacrifices so many have made so that we may enjoy this day. Wishing all the very best for today!

Back in the day, we school kids were required to learn this — 5th Grade, I believe.

I have not heard “This is My Country”, or thought of it until your post. My gosh – we played that song in high school band for one of the school’s concerts. And it hadn’t crossed my mind since then…almost 40 years later. A beautiful song.

A Safe and Enjoyable Day to you and your readers, “B”.
