Accused cop killer and one of the FBI’s most wanted fugitives Eric Frein has been captured alive, sources told ABC News tonight. Captured in police custody.

Spotted by PA State Police walking across runway toward building at an abandoned airport, surrounded arrested. Both a federal law enforcement source and a Pennsylvania law enforcement source confirmed that Frein in custody.
It has been “a very good day,” the Pennsylvania law enforcement source said.
Frein had eluded authorities since Sept. 12, when he allegedly killed one Pennsylvania state trooper and injured another during an ambush of the Blooming Grove police barracks.
Police had conducted a manhunt for weeks in the surrounding woods.

Reports he was in found alive. They are saying Birchwood-Pocono airpark now and came out without any trouble. NBC confirmed. 15 miles away from his home. We’re told it happened just after 6:00 this evening, by a Barrett Township Supervisor. Officials say he was captured in Henryville, Monroe County.

I spent a couple of years just across the river from that area. Very interesting story. I have not seen too much “anti-government” type bashing going on over this, so you guys can rest easy, as this guy doesn’t seem to be the usual suspect.

yes, that’s hard to hear. However, I DO think this guy was a HUGE threat to the community, considering his cold blooded killing, his arsenal and his apparent mental illness.
