As Israel Falls Will Christians Allow Jerusalem to Fall as Well?

We learn that Ireland, Norway and Spain yesterday moved in support of a Palestine state. While this news barely registered on the meter here in the States, Hamas was dancing in the street with new vigor as they acquire new BFFs. Iran was not far behind with new calls for Israel’s destruction. Columbia, wanting to get into the action announced that a new embassy would be established in Ramallah located on the West Bank of Palestine.

The announcement was made hours after Spain, Ireland and Norway said they would recognize a Palestinian state, and weeks after Petro announced that Colombia would break diplomatic relations with Israel over its actions in Gaza. (Source)

Many choose to see these developments as “symbolic.” Yet 140 of 190 countries the UN represents now recognize Palestine.

The ICC prosector has a novel idea. Arrest both sides.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Tuesday that he disagrees with arrest warrants sought against him by the International Criminal Court (ICC), suggesting that U.S. leaders could be next.

The ICC this week said it would seek arrest warrants for Mr. Netanyahu, Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, and the Hamas leaders, prompting criticism from both Israeli and top U.S. officials, including President Joe Biden. The ICC claimed that the warrants for the Israeli leadership were over the country’s conduct in the ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict.

Mr. Netanyahu said the warrants against himself and Defense Minister Yoav Gallant over the country’s conduct in its fight against Hamas in the Gaza Strip set a “dangerous” precedent for other democratic countries, including Israel’s allies.

Barreling along the downward path of Israel’s destruction, a new video by Project Veritas got the inside scoop with a “gotcha” with a Biden NSC Advisor by the name of Waters giving a “tell” with what most of us had already figured. Yesterday’s post told the tale.

….Waters discusses internal White House deliberations about the ongoing conflict in Gaza and admits that “if Biden won again he could be much more forthright about saying ‘No’ [to Israel],” stating that the administration would have more freedom to tell Israel ‘you’re not going to continue to lie, and bomb, and kill all these kids without facing serious consequences.’”

Now that we got that cleared up, here is a clip I updated later to yesterday’s post.

When Israel falls, Jerusalem falls as well. The foundation of all that is Holy to Christians will be destroyed. Any remnant or reminder of Jesus will be no more. End times indeed. Will the Knights Templar rise again?

Where are they?

The enemy is at the gate, they lay siege to our walls, yet no one answers the call to arms!! Where are the Knights, why are they not suited up for the great battle? Are they asleep?

Who will slay this beast if not the Templars? The angels are sounding the trumpets, are the sounds of them muffled? This enemy is familiar, we have fought them before, in histories past, come brethren, take up your cross, and fight for God, and the Saints, the beast has reared his ugly head once again!! Come, my brethren!

Take courage and stand beneath our banner! The darkness closes in, and we are the only true defenders of the Light! March to victory and arise triumphant!

I don’t know, before the Zionists took over Israel, Christians lived in Palestine in peace. Today, they’re persecuted as much as Moslems are. Hamas and Hezbollah, BTW, consider Palestinian Christians a protected class. Hezbollah has a Christian Legion and Hamas defends Palestinian Churches while the Zionists bomb them in Gaza or turn them into LGBTQ Pride Centers in Israel itself. Before the recent Civil War, the Israeli Tourism Ministry advertised Jerusalem and Bethlehem as ‘Gay Hot Spots.’

In a more practical sense, if Israel fell we’d see the end of things like AIPAC and allied foreign lobbies buying our government, a huge disruption in all of the spyware they sell to our Government for domestic espionage, and all of the help they’ve given our Deep State in fomenting Regime Changes including the NGOs they fund in our own country.

    Mark

That’s like asking why, instead of working as a room maid at Motel 6-8 or whatever for the last 50 years Cher has passed off her cacaphony as million selling pop music.

I have one dumb question regarding the Hindustan Times video:
“Why do they blur the names and titles of the representatives of Norway and Ireland, but not those of Israel?”

Like Ed, I will have to point to Matthew 24, Luke 21, Ezekiel 38, and Isaiah 2 for the promises that all nations will turn against Israel.

The nutty college protests aren’t helping. Wonder how many truly understand the complexities of the conflict or are simply virtue signaling?

Saw a clip on TV interviewing protesting students, but do not remember where. About 75% did not know what or why they were protesting other than that it had something to do with Palestinians. Interviews could have been selected, of course, but still.

    Straight from the dictionary:

Perdition definition: a state of final spiritual ruin; loss of the soul; damnation.

    No qualifier needed.

The same Scripture that promised and predicted the revival of Israel that occurred in 1948 has other things to say about it’s future.
All nations will align against it.
    And lose.

Given the track record of that Book in predicting the future, and explaining the past, I think it can be trusted regarding everything.

I wonder how many appreciate that if Israel goes, so does everything related to Jesus. Regardless of one’s position on Israel, how many of these same people appreciate the result to Christians.

America started down that dark, dark road when the morons elected Barack Obama, who does the work of Satan, and Joe Biden, who is the poster child for “useful idiot.”

I don’t fear the end of times, but while I have not had any confidence in the U.S. government for several decades, I am sorely disappointed in what my country’s government has become.

Amazing isn’t it. I am surprised that Jerusalem hasn’t come under more attack. Only because of the other religions who have set up shop there probably.

Schools doing away with history and geography and replacing them with “social studies” says a lot. Should we expect that to morph into “socialism study” in the not too distant future?

I was never in favor of “social studies.” I preferred “social science.” The former suggests opinionated findings, while the latter offers up the scientific method of investigation. Having taught in the classroom for 20 years and coordinated high-stakes testing with six state education boards, I can promise you that, in most instances, education is the last thing going on inside classrooms.

I was fortunate in my history courses a “problems” approach was had for most of it. Primary sources from different points of view on various topics and then debate, discussion. It was discerning “why” it happened and the result as opposed to dates.

History came to life.. especially U.S and Western Civ. reading what the players had to say.

I taught Geography, World History, US History, Government, and Macroeconomics — at both the regular and AP level.  I used similar strategies in all my classes to help students learn how to think through issues and formulate rational opinions.  I called this gem the “proposition and support” method.  It always began with an argument and counterargument offered by notable individuals (from Supreme Court justices to political commentators and college professors).  Students would have to read the arguments, do additional research (citing their sources), and then offer their opinions, beginning with a clearly stated proposition and supported by facts that led to logical conclusions.  It worked well around 80% of the time.

They were fortunate students.. it is where my love of history developed and curiosity.. I had the same with American Lit… There is something to be said for a Liberal Arts education if taught the right way. I always knew I was going to go on to Grad school, if not I guess it doesn’t offer much except to appreciate life a bit more perhaps in certain areas. It does help at cocktail parties…

We should also note from the Bible that when Israel behaved as it is doing now, they ended up, to use Jeremiah’s pointed expression, ‘that God finally cast them out of His presence.’
