Traitorous House Speaker Johnson and His Federal Budget Deal

The untold sell out by Speaker Johnson. Steve Bannon interviews Rosemary Jenks who has tirelessly reported on the border and gives us the bad news on what is in the Federal budget bill. As for Johnson? Prior to his election to Congress in 2016, Speaker Johnson was an attorney and served in the Louisiana State Legislature from 2015 to 2017. That is the extent of his State legislative and D.C. experience. No wonder he sailed through as speaker.

Rosemary Jenks- it is insanity

My final statement in the post below:  The ultimate stealth candidate?

From an earlier Bunks post New GOP House Speaker: We Need “Systematic and Transformative Change” Regarding Blacks

….a portion of Bunks Box of Gold

If you only listened to the audio of this Mike Johnson clip, and it was 2016, you would say Mike Johnson was progressive Democrat.

“Transformative solutions” is New Age code for bringing us into their concept of the “New World Order.” Same old show as before.

What did we expect we would get in the end after the House voting down conservatives time after time?

What’s frustrating is that we have have dozens upon dozens of legislation and movements making minorities normalized in society, yet we have those who think we’re still in the early 1900’s.

In truth most of us can lay claim to others having “an easier path.” Is this the lesson for his Black son? Had my I.Q been higher, born to a different family, lived somewhere else…. yes I indeed would have had an easier path. Each of us must come to terms with the fact that our destiny is ours to create. The best part of being an American is that we have the best opportunity in the world to make the most of it.

While we rail against our government and its corruption, our system of government offers more opportunity than any other form of government in the world. We are blessed.

He claims that churches are the most segregated institutions in America. The reality is that individual churches reflect like minded folks getting together. Most often representing the culture in which the members were raised and feel most comfortable in. The music, length of service, form of service, Christian beliefs, all play a role in church selection. His unspoken suggestion that Whites somehow are not welcoming and do not embrace Blacks into a congregation is offensive to me. He apparently is a preacher as well, as he alludes to addressing this issue from a black pulpit. The old white guilt trip just does not fly anymore

Covid will trash another federal election. In San Diego we are being told that testing the sewage system is revealing that there are large numbers of Covid cases in the city, despite the low numbers that are being reported. The reasons for that, we are told, are numerous. People are not doing as much testing. “Everyone is pooping,” the Health Department weenie says, “but not everybody is testing.” Brilliant. I think he rehearsed that in front of a mirror before the interview.

Apparently, when people are testing they are testing too soon, as soon as they feel symptoms, and the body has not had a chance to build up antibodies, which is what the tests detect. That’s the exact reverse of what we were told back in 2020, when we were supposed to “wear masks and isolate” even though we felt fine. Back then we were told that the problem with Covid was that it was infectious before symptoms appeared, because you had it for up to a week before any symptoms appeared.

It’s also counter to the well known fact that it is the antibodies that cause the symptoms, not the virus. The fever is the body’s defense to a virus, because heat kills viral invaders.

What they are up to is to revive the Covid fears in order to restore the “don’t vote in person, us mail in ballots for safety” nonsense that allowed the 2020 election to be tampered with.

What we are seeing here is proof that the American education system is broken. As an example, most people do not understand what representative democracy means. Hint: it doesn’t mean that the elected representative votes the way you want him to — he votes as he pleases. His only obligation is to consider the people’s will in his congressional district. Emphasis on HIS district, not yours. This is why it is impossible to email a representative of any district other than yours or any senator representing a state other than yours. The bottom line is that since we, the people, didn’t elect Johnson, he has no obligation to anyone other than (a) the people of his Louisiana congressional district and (b) the Republican (razor-thin) majority.

All of the above makes you wonder if the founding fathers drank too much afternoon sherry.

I might disagree with you somewhat. As the leader I would think Johnson is to represent the representatives as opposed to his home district. His sole job is to build consensus, compromise to the extent that the position he takes is acceptable enough to pass.
Otherwise we have a super Rep…who choses to represent himself as opposed to the constituents of the 400 plus Representatives. It appears there is the majority support to do something about the illegals. His position does not address this and in fact only adds to the problem. This is a Democrat position. He was elected as a Republican and it is hard to believe that is small piece of the pie in LA represents them.

It is only recently that LA politics turned to the light, and I expect that was mainly because politicians found that they only way they could get elected (and have a place at a very lucrative table) is to run as a Republican. Just because someone runs for office as a Republican doesn’t mean that they are a Republican. It’s the pea in a walnut shell game.

My expectation of members of Congress is SO LOW that I’m never, ever disappointed. I know that’s very crass. I never used to be this way until I met Peter.

Thanks Mustang. It’s refreshing to know my complete lack of confidence in American politicians (devils spawn) and “The American People” (lapdogs) who keep them in office to ensure the country iis torn asunder( I’m finally able to say that😁) doesn’t go unnoticed. Again, thanks buddy.

Not a problem, Peter. If you can, include my endorsement in your upcoming political campaign to replace Senator Bob after he’s convicted. Also, I like gold bars.

Exactly. We elect him because we trust his judgement, not because he will do what we tell him to do.

Every representative will tell you “My obligation is to represent the best interest of the people in my district,” which is wrong. It creates a nation divided against itself, 435 districts, each competing against the other 434 for the biggest piece of federal largess. The reality is that the representative is obligated to “represent the PRINCIPLES of the people in my district in governing for the best interests of the NATION as a whole.”

Listen to the people elected to federal government. They do not know what they were elected to do. Is it any wonder that this nation is failing?

I might add, respectfully, that the founding fathers had it precisely right. It is those who followed who have screwed the pooch.

Right … and the entire shebang is subjective. It is no wonder people have little interest in voting. It could be the greatest con ever perpetrated against an entire country.

A somewhat astute observation goes like this: political ideology always falls away in the face of economic reality. I’m sure the founders “had it right,” operating as they were from a solid foundation of enlightened principles. That was on the day they published the U.S. Constitution. The next day, however, they were confronted with reality, and it was on that day, these politicians began selling their souls for a place at the table. As you say, it’s been going downhill ever since.

    Bunk
My sentiments exactly. Pardon my crass language but the Republican Party is more than just a circle jerk on parade, they are actively screwing each other and doing their best to ensure a one party system following Dawali- or Election Day for those racists stuck in the past.
In addition, just think about it, does anyone believe the left is shepherding five million plus into the country without a mechanism in place to get as many as possible registered to vote “D” The stars are aligned. Meanwhile Hunter is doing his job of diverting attention from daddy to himself knowing he’ll never spend a dime on fines or a day behind bars. Ten more months ten more months!!!

When Biden said a few years ago, ‘I don’t know that there will be a Republican Party in 2024’ it looks like he was on to something. The GOP is a lot closer to imploding than it is of regaining power. I don’t know why nobody in the mainstream punditocracy sees this coming; but it’s really going to open up after the primaries start. Between popular support for Trump and the never-Trump RNC Establishment, the inability of the House to do anything right, that old bastard McConnell running the Senate, and no actual plan, it’s a political movement that’s really running out of steam.

With a two vote majority soon to be one, one wonders if they will even control the House by this fall. They couldn’t wait to get rid of that GOP nut case..,meanwhile the Dem’s Senator from NJ lingers on.
The Dems would be happy enough with Haley, she would fit right in. They will never let Trump near the WH.
