The Progressives and how they are treating us ‘little people’

I am just sitting back watching the absurdity of how those who judge us with the low sloping foreheads are getting treated during this “pandemic.”

Since my retirement community where I live has a so called Nursing home as part of its continuing care, we are essentially ‘Locked down” in our apartments. Our previously delicious meals are now delivered and placed on our door knobs in the prescribed black boxes.

Amazon Prime is running the Sopranos…. I am into it at about the 20 hour mark. The world and its morality right now seems to share much in common. My cynicism grows. Just explaining where this intrepid blogger is at.  Here we go:

Although Harvard is a tax-exempt, nonprofit university, its $40.9 billion endowment is worth more than the valuation of many large companies, such as AirBnB and Lyft. Its endowment is also worth more than the gross domestic product of some small countries, including Bahrain and Iceland.

More craziness from the “Progressive” democrat leadership. This in the form of education. After all, they can’t give one inch in allowing the public schools possibly to lose one single student.

And that my friends is the best of the swamp I could find today.

Oh, yes, very liberal (dontchaknow?) Harvard won’t follow through and help students or staff….FIRE THEM! TO SAVE MONEY! Talk a big game and don’t live up to it.

On the other hand, great news is teams like The Lakers many of whom are donating money to pay the crews (burger flippers, ushers, janitors, etc.) at our Staples Center for months until their jobs are back……I hear that’s happening in lots of cities; a good, NON swampy thing!! 🙂 LeBron James paid for Taco Trucks for firemen during the awful fires we were fighting six months ago. So, there is good news.

Let us pray………..I love how Pence ALWAYS adds at the end “…heal our land” ….directly from:
“2 Chronicles 7:14 14 if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”

Sneaky of him to get in some Bible in a presser, isn’t it? Gives a good message….BE STRONG, EVERYBODY! Our land will be healed and better. Love, Polyanna!

Many long years ago, progressive-minded people realized that they could not reproduce themselves biologically, so they set out to do it via the one system in place today guaranteed to accomplish that mission: public schools. When we say “schools” the first thing to come to mind are centers where young people go to become educated. When conservatives use the word “educated,” they generally mean learning in a range of subjects that will ultimately prepare young people for the world that will confront them as adults: English language usage, science, mathematics, history, geography, civics, learning how government works here when compared to everywhere else. This is not how progressives view education, however. For them, it is an opportunity to brainwash forming minds so that when they become older, they themselves will be progressive-minded. A couple of examples: there is no reason to teach 9th graders (who are bursting with an over-abundance of testosterone and estrogen) about two fourteen-year-old children who, because of their unfulfilled desire, decide to kill themselves. There is no reason to teach “Islam” not-so-cleverly masked as “geography of the middle east.” There is no reason to teach the crusades as a one-sided event in world history. Well actually, there are reasons for this: it is called brainwashing and propagandizing. It is part of the corrupt system we laughingly call US Public Education. A system, by the way, that does nothing but prepare students for two tracks: (1) Minimum wage jobs, and (2) Remedial courses in college before being allowed to earn college credits toward graduation.

But as Bunkerville points out, the Progressives reveal themselves by how they behave over what they say they believe in. Who in the hell sends their kids to Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Brown, or Columbia when their children can receive a better education, and far less cost, at state or private universities? Let’s face it, Barack Obama attended both Columbia and Harvard and he was as dumb as a rock. Hillary Clinton attended Wellesley and Yale, and there is nothing to say about that woman beyond her wickedness—and she’s not all that smart, actually. John Kerry graduated from Yale with lackluster grades, his only “advanced degrees” are honorary. No, the only reason for sending their kids to prestigious universities is that they are said to “open doors” to lackluster students. Looks good on paper, even as a C- student. And this goes a long way, I think, to explain how “reasonably educated persons” argue virulently in favor of “social justice” and insist upon carrying forward the myth of white oppression. Meanwhile, all of these social justice warriors support the abortion of millions of black babies and while closing “non-essential” businesses during the “pandemic,” Planned Parenthood remains open and functioning as usual, but we need to cut back on drugs and medications offered to the elderly. Utterly devoid of common sense—which as I have said, describes Democrats/Progressives to a tee.

Side note interrogative: Isn’t an essential business any business that puts food on the table for its owner and employees?
