Pelosi has meltdown, Mutt Romney has the blues

The Friday roundup of the absurd. It’s never over till its over but poor Nan doesn’t know what to do with her choppers as she melts down yesterday as the impeachment of the Donald appears to be slipping away. The roundup would not be complete with an homage to our favorite GOPer Mittens Romney. He has about as much sense now as he did years ago. We will give homage to Seamus his Mutt.

Washington Post reporter Paul Kane asks if President Trump will be chastened or “emboldened because the Senate will have acquitted him?” House Speaker Nancy Pelosi: “He will not be acquitted. You cannot be acquitted if you don’t have a trial. And you don’t have a trial if you don’t have witnesses and documentation.”

Let’s not forget about Romney who is and has done all he can to be a jackass. Worked hard for the first time in his life ever to derail Trump. What we learned about him last time around. Dogs know.

In brief, as the Boston Globe first reported in 2007, in 1983, Mitt Romney, then 36 years old, drove his station wagon packed with five sons and his wife on a 12-hour trip from Boston to Ontario, where his parents had a cottage on Lake Huron.

“Before beginning the drive, Mitt Romney put Seamus, the family’s hulking Irish setter, in a dog carrier and attached it to the station wagon’s roof rack. He’d built a windshield for the carrier, to make the ride more comfortable for the dog,” read the article.

Ry Cooder Mutt Romney Blues

Other than that all is well in the swamp. Have a great weekend and enjoy!

She really has lost it and if the Dems hold on to the House I think she will be replaced. It is hard to determine who is the bigger fool between Pelosi and Romney but Romney is just a jackass while she is losing her mind.

Nana P: Robert’s is a republican tool, DJT is a crook and an imbecile, DJT’s lawyers should be disbarred..

Of course, this is all to keep a big question mark and a label of illegitimate President hanging over DJT for the morons to lose sleep and plan assassinations over when he wins in 2020. And when he appoints another constitution respecting judge to replace RGB sometime between today and January 2024. That’s all it’s ever been about. There is no question these idiots ever believed that they’d get 2/3rds of the senate to “impeaches 45”, let alone remove him from office.

After Trump is re=elected to a second term there will be no solace for them. We must keep the Senate and take back the House with our guys not Rino’s… only way this nonsense will ever end.

We have to get the house back and force much of DJT’s EO’s into legislation otherwise too much of his accomplishments will go up in smoke if and when America decides to commit suicide by electing a dem majority.

I am not a lawyer, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn last night —against my will, of course.

There is nothing in the proceeding that follows judicial procedure, although senate trials are a different cup of tea. For example, senate trials are orchestrated almost to the extent of stage plays, all of which are specified in the Rules of Procedure and Practice in the Senate when Sitting on Impeachment Trials.

There are speeches and oaths that must be taken … even specific times of day when certain provisions must be enacted, but there are no “rules of evidence” or “standards of proof” that allow senators to decide key questions that under usual court procedures would require the decisions of judges, according to generally accepted statutes and case law.

Some of the basics do pertain, however —such as a man is presumed innocent until he is proven guilty. So, Mr. Trump is innocent until there is overwhelming evidence to the contrary. I have seen no violation of law by President Trump.

What I have seen is a gross violation of the spirit of the law within the House of Representatives, and I cannot imagine that anyone on this planet could be lower forms of life than the House Gang who have so thoroughly debauched the American sense of justice. They, these House monsters, have no sense of honor. No virtue. No basis upon which they may claim American hood. They are not of us, we do not adore them, and I hope they burn in hell. Not for Trump’s sake, mind you … but for America’s sake.

I call it pure evil…..they will never stop… it will continue on and just wait until he is re-elected. Why doesn’t the Senate start holding their hearings? But of course Graham is a RIno and talks out of both sides of his mouth.

It really is like these people are going NUTS…the way Pelosi talks! So EVIL. And Schiff is still making up conversations and making ridiculous claims on intuition….it’s almost unbelievable.
If it wasn’t for the fact that IT’S THEM.
And Schumer? Did ANY of us ever think anybody would use such HORRIBLE adjectives about a president?

Not many people know this, but Nan Pelosi actually died twenty years ago. Today she’s running on pure alcohol. Probably doesn’t smell any better, but it has preserved her corpse.

    Well let’s face it

Nervous Nancy has to say something to keep the handful of left wing nuts that still support her

    Placated

But I always thought [legally] that if you weren’t actually charged in the first place there would be no need for an acquittal

Maybe Nervous Nancy should have gotten those subpoenas after all

Have 1 for the road Nan

You almost would think that nothing happened in the House now would you? I think her days of “stewardship” of the House are about over……still I am more than ready to drink one for the end of this nasty road.
