Obama eyes taking control of the Arctic, adding to Monuments Act

In a well thought out piece, we learn that Obama has eyes on the Arctic. Of course, to remove any opportunity for oil and gas exploration and adding to the larder of government controlled land and water. In the last year alone added 750,000 acres. All under the Monuments Act. The result? No turning back. Of course he will do this and much more. Here tis;

In September President Obama created the first marine national monument in the Atlantic Ocean, roping off around 5,000 square miles in waters near the coast of Cape Cod. The month before, he designated over 440,000 square miles in the Pacific off the coast of Hawaii.

Now, as the president begins his lame duck stint, environmental groups are pressuring him to turn his focus to Arctic waters, with the goal of permanently banning oil and gas development in the region. And that prospect has become even more likely following last week’s election result and the advent of a Trump Administration, which has pledged to provide industry with greater access.

President Obama‘s use of the 1906 Antiquities Act is already unmatched. In an effort to secure his environmental legacy, his administration has created or enlarged 26 national monuments since 2011, including 14 in just the past year and a half, collectively totaling more than 750,000 square miles.

Any national monument designation is effectively final. That means portions of America’s Arctic Ocean bestowed with monument status would be removed from oil and gas development forever, even if a later administration, with the benefit of hindsight, wanted to reverse the order.

If environmental groups are successful in banning offshore oil and gas development, it will have dire and lasting consequences. More at Washington Examiner

Obama gobbles up 400,000 square miles for the government

President Obama, with the stroke of a pen, created the world’s largest ocean reserve on Friday off Hawaii, 400,000 square miles, days after designating a massive federal monument in Maine – moves that have angered local lawmakers who accuse the president of disregarding the impact on residents.

I just got done posting on August 22, 2016 Obama and the Greenies seeking massive land grab in Utah

Obama is never going to go away, but stay around, criticize everything Trump does and keep blathering. I think he’s just as dangerous now as he has been and he will continue to be a danger to our country in the future. I don’t know why I ever thought, (a long time ago) that when we were rid of him, he’d be gone our of our lives. But, no his activism and meddling will continue ad nausea.

Can Trump do anything to reverse what he’s doing on these land grabs? In the article it said it’s final. I hate to think that’s true. The Feds have no business land grabbing huge amounts of our country. Just my opinion.

There are a few reports that Congress might be able to do something as far as funding but it is very iffy. Yes, I had the same feeling that we would be done with him but his ego will be out there for the rest of our lives I am afraid.

He still has about two months left and now he has nothing to lose so he is probably more dangerous than ever!

He is Satan’s puppet. And that it can’t be reversed should be revisited somehow.

That is terrible. The man who calls himself Obama truly is “heaping up coals of fire on his head” [Proverbs 25:22; Romans 12:20] for the last days when he will be judged. No matter he does, or tries to do to us, will be nothing compared to what he is punished for eternally. I do pray that President Trump can reverse and/or de-fund all of his mischievous, unconstitutional ‘laws’. It’s been done to Kings it can certainly be done to our alleged President.

Shaking my head….sigh….just a never ending thing with him. And he is threatening the president elect saying he will speak up when Trump isn’t doing things right…why can’t he just be quiet like Bush. Sigh.

I don’t really expect Trump to fix this because he can’t fix everything that is wrong with our government, lol.

This is just another example – of the numerous examples – of the stupid Congress illegally transferring power to the president. And the collective stupidity of the states and the People for allowing it. And the arrogant, illegitimate SCOTUS thinking they can decide what Congress is authorized to do instead of following what the Constitution says Congress can do.

Bunker, you posts are better than espressos for getting my blood pumping and me all fired up for work!! 🙂

Stupid is way too kind! What country goes about destroying itself. Only in America. But I am enjoying the temper tantrums of those who are frustrated that the completion of their agenda has been halted for now.

There are many adjectives I could use, but ‘stupid’ was easy, lol.

I am definitely enjoying the meltdowns!

Unfortunately a couple family members are part of that group. My daughter, sigh, and my cousin, who is ‘biracial.’

I never even thought of her as biracial. Never thought of my cousin – her father – or my uncle as being another ‘race.’

I don’t do that, I refuse. If you’re human, you’re the same race I am. Skin color means nothing. Only those from another planet are a different race.

So, my beloved family members posted on their FB pages after Trump won that silly thing saying “If you aren’t part of the victimized groups, you don’t get to decide whether or not those groups are allowed to be afraid.”

I wanted to, but wisely refrained from, replying with, “As part of your family, I firmly believe believe it’s incumbent upon me to tell you, with all the love in the world, that your fear is unreasonable and based on nothing but lies.”

        😀

This speaks volumes about a system that allows a self appointed despot the power to f__k up in perpetuity a nation he hates… In perpetuity.
