Having any thoughts on Mitt Romney yet? He foretold the events in Iraq

The more I hear from Mitt, the more sensible he sounds as a potential candidate in 2016. The clips below say all we need to know about Obama, and gives us a good look at an observer of the world by Mitt. It took Ron Reagan a couple of tries. Maybe time for an adult in the White House? What say you?

Mitt Romney warned that if the U.S. completely withdrew from Iraq, it would crumble and for that Barack Obama called him a foreign policy novice. Islamic militants have thrown Iraq into a tailspin and the country is on the verge of an all-out civil war. So, we have to ask, who’s the foreign policy novice now? Romney was right. Obama was wrong…again.

“A few months ago when you were asked what’s the biggest geopolitical threat facing America, you said Russia…the 1980s are now calling to ask for their foreign policy back because the Cold War’s been over for 20 years.”

Obama spoke as well that Romney wanted to go back to the 1950’s economic policies.

Yes, I would like go back to the economic policies of the 1950’s. Thank you very much.

He did nail Russia. Not sure that any student of history is surprised by what is happening after the withdrawal though.

There is no easy fix. There never was, but if keeping 30,000 troops in Iraq would have kept all that oil wealth out of the hands of terrorists….. Well, if we look at Iran, we can begin to understand the problem.

I agree as well. I originally thought let them kill each other. But it is clear, it will not stop in Iraq. Russia and Iran will step in. If true, when they was only about 800 when they started, and they were all lined up in the desert, its hard to let this one go by. Now they have our material and who knows what all.

Any thoughts on Romney, you ask? Oh, if he’d ONLY won. We’ve got to learn that neophytes who think the Middle East situation is a ‘game’. Wow. The left liked to quote Europeans as calling Bush ‘a cowboy”….the truth is, I think they’re all wishing they had the cowboy back. We have a guy now who’s duplicitous and hypocritical.
And we’re now spending $500 million helping Syria MY GOD.

Obama said what he was supposed to say, the same thing Romney would have changed his mind to, had he been elected. That was all a matter of politics, and only a neophyte wouldn’t know that.

The “prediction,” however, was about as prescient as predicting it will be dry in the Sahara. I’ve seen this coming for years, and I’m just some schmuck. Had the idiot cons listened to us in the first place, much of this, or at least our involvement, could have been avoided.

There needs to be a total re-vamping of the whole infested system. It seems like they all belong to a ‘secret society’ that’s Anti-American – rather they have their own private agenda’s using America to accomplish their goals. I have my doubts that a revamping will happen all at once. It may take decades if then. Until then, I would prefer to make the best of a bad situation. Who do you suggest at this point that is electable? I am open at this point.

Yes, we live in a ‘High Maintenance World’ Bunker!
And good things take time, esp. when there’s so much cleaning up that needs to be done!
I like Rand Paul, Cruz, THAT group (No to Rubio, Christie, Jeb – no more Bush/Clinton Dynasties). No more like McCain … who really put him in there! really wanted to make their ‘FRAUD PLANT’ shine … no Rino’s – you get the idea.
