Great selection today. “Not a major breach” is, sadly, probably true. For balloon humor see cartoon posted late last night (I know Bunk saw it, but it’s worth a visit if you didn’t).

Yeah, I’ve bought blue cod like that from a farmer market fish monger. It cooks white and is delicious.

The rooster reminds me of a friend who has a pet rooster she raised from a chick. He can be a handful, and he has a bevy of chickens to guard, too.

Only 31 light years. No one alive today will ever get there, and I would imagine that no one alive in the future will leave earth and arrive and its twin in their lifetimes, either. So I get science, and I do find it interesting. My question is this: Why have we prioritized space fantasy rather than feeding starving children when money has become a limited resource?

I can see more value in spending research money in the ocean. They say only about 10 percent of the species have been discovered with unknown resources yet to be discovered. Setting aside your point. The curiosity as to whether the Supreme Power selected only us for life remains a powerful motivation I guess.

Military success is aided by controls and intel provided by holding the highest point.
So exploration of our atmosphere and immediate environs made sense. From then on, agree with you both. And stuff is comin’ out of the sea. Cobalt for example.
