Richard Trumka’s Ugly History of Violence and Corruption

I will leave it to others to opine on the specifics of Zero’s speech. What bothered me more were the cast of characters that Obama had lined up to sit in “his box” with his wife. If Jeffrey Immelt was not enough as an example of the dichotomy of job creation here in the U.S., let’s move on to Union Leader Trumka. This is Obama’s go to guy. Who visits the WH or does a talkie every couple of days with Obama’s minions. Who we know is setting the stage for the big shindig coming up in September and October.  Recall our earlier post United States own Arab Spring coming our way . Called “U.S. Day of Rage”, and check out their web site: U.S. Day of Rage

Coming to Wall Street this September… A website has been set up for a U.S. Day of Rage. With links connecting them to the European Revolution website, let the dots start falling into place. On the website for the European Revolution, they define their Mission as:

“We are an informative platform in English that aims to support the ongoing pro-democracy protests throughout Europe. We believe in alternative and independent media, net neutrality, real participatory democracy, active citizenship and the common ideals put forth by the first protests in Spain. We understand this revolution is made up of global citizens facing global issues, therefore, one of our goals is to create a net of volunteers and activists from around Europe to fight for our common goal.”

But I digressed. Let us go back to Zero, here tis:

What, pray tell, are Trumka’s rank-and-file members up to these days?  Hint: it involves taking hostages, destroying private property, and threatening cops.  No matter; FLOTUS will welcome Uncle Trumky with open — and enviably toned — arms.  I guess this little kabuki “threat” has expired, huh?  Another White House guest?  Jeffrey Immelt, a major Obama supporter and CEO of a multibillion dollar transnational corporation that managed to pay $0.00 in taxes on $13 Billion in profits last year.  Well, at least Obama is targeting Immelt’s corporate jets in the name of “shared sacrifice,” right?  Wait, after all that demagoguery, he’s not? From Town Hall

From NRTW back in 2009:

As president of the United Mine Workers (UMW) union, Trumka led multiple violent strikes. Trumka’s fiery rhetoric often appeared to condone militancy and violence, especially against workers who dared to continue to provide for their families by working during a strike. As a Virginia judge ruled in 1989, “violent activities are being organized, orchestrated and encouraged by the leadership of this union.”

Take the murder of Eddie York, a nonunion contractor, who was shot in the back of the head and killed while leaving a worksite in 1993. Trumka and other UMW officials were charged in a $27 million wrongful death suit by Eddie York’s widow. After fighting the suit intensely for four years, UMW lawyers settled suddenly in 1997 — just two days after the judge in the case ruled evidence in the criminal trial would be admitted.

Later, as Secretary-Treasurer of the AFL-CIO, Trumka pleaded the Fifth Amendment before Congress and a court-appointed election monitor over his role in an illegal fundraising scheme to benefit the Teamsters president Ron Carey’s re-election. Trumka has remained in his position ever since despite an AFL-CIO rule (adopted in 1957) which held that union officials who plead the Fifth have “no right to continue to hold office” in the union umbrella organization.

It amazes me that so many people fail to see Trumka and the rest of the big union leaders for what they really are. Of course, I also can’t understand how Obama was able to pull the wool over so many eyes and win the election in 2008. I just hope the majority of Americans can see their way to vote against him in 2012 and to reject the actions of Trumka and his union thugs.

Meanwhile only Fox is reporting anything at all about what is happening out in Washington State. It doesn’t fit the image the MSM would have us have of the poor down troden workers.

He has surrounded himself with thugs and radicals his whole life so this is not surprising but I wish more people had paid attention to this before the election. As CoF said, you can be judged by the company you keep and if people had judged Obama this way he never would have gotten elected.

I think it shows how out of touch he is to not to have any concern about the optics of this. In fact, he must think this is a positive one for him.

People are judged by the company they keep. Obama and his Chicago style politics is no better than a Trumka or a Hoffa. hopefully America is beginning to see what these people have planned for us. The actions of the Longshoremen in Washington will be repeated by others. I suspect we’ll see a lot of violence before Nov. 2012. I’m wondering how the police are going to respond to this violence by people with whom they sympathize?

The Union workers are being played for suckers. While Obama is costing them tens of thousands of jobs, they will be suckered into violence, and keeping up Obama’s charade. That is what it is.

Observe the new “Unholy Trio” in blatant display: Obama, Immelt and Trumka. We have seen the Enemy and it is the marriage of Big Government, Big Business, and Big labor. God save us from them and the grubbing politicians feeding and worshiping at that alter.
