Hillary Clinton’s interference in Putin’s election and his revenge

Reports of Russian interference in the 2016 U.S. presidential election have dominated the headlines. But this wasn’t the first time Vladimir Putin and Hillary Clinton faced off over an election and its fallout.

You see, Putin was clear-eyed about how the Obama and Clinton operated with their cronies in arms- Susan Rice, and Samantha Power as they lay waste to a number of elected governments. We will look at six interferences perpetrated against governments. Putin was no fool.

Then the unspeakable happened. Hillary decided to take on Putin as he was up for re-election.

Here is a scene from part one of “Putin’s Revenge,” an epic FRONTLINE documentary from “The Choice 2016” examining Putin’s rise, rule and motivations, and the American responses. Two parts of the program are available on YouTube.

What’s more, all the protestations about Russian interference in the US 2016 elections  when compared to previous US interference in Russian elections is small change.  Remember TIME magazine’s cover and report of July 15th, 1996? That was yesterdays post:

Recall when Bill Clinton meddled in Russian Election? Putin extracts revenge?

Let’s get back to Hillary and Obama.

The Guardian points out that “Americans can spot election meddling because they’ve been doing it for years“.

According to research by political scientist Dov Levin, the US and the USSR/Russia together intervened no less than 117 times in foreign elections between 1946 and 2000, or “one out of every nine competitive, national-level executive elections”.

Indeed, one cannot understand US-Russian relations today without acknowledging America’s role in the internal affairs of its defeated cold war foe.

Yeltsin relied on US political strategists – including a former aide to Bill Clinton – who had a direct line back to the White House. When Yeltsin eventually won, the cover of Time magazine was “Yanks to the rescue: The secret story of how American advisers helped Yeltsin win”.

Without the chaos and deprivations of the US-backed Yeltsin era, Putinism would surely not have established itself. But it’s not just Russia by any means, for the record of US intervention in the internal affairs of foreign democracies is extensive.

There’s more at the link.  Do read the piece. It does a fine job of what happened after Bill Clinton came into power:

As soon as Bill Clinton assumed the White House in 1993, his experts discussed “formulating a policy of American tutelage”, including unabashed partisan support for President Boris Yeltsin. “Political missionaries and evangelists, usually called ‘advisers’, spread across Russia in the early and mid-1990s,” notes Cohen: many were funded by the US government. (With disastrous results.)

UN Ambassadors Nikki Haley versus Samantha Power – change all in one year

All of the change at the UN in just one year. I give you a portion of a post I did almost one year to the day – we had Samantha Power as the UN Ambassador who earlier in her career called for the invasion of Israel. The first clip a take on our new Ambassador who told the UN where it was at this past week. (They think we bullied apparently.) Then Samantha Power.

US Ambassador to the UN, Nikki Haley has sent a letter of warning to members of the UN General Assembly ahead of an emergency session to vote on a resolution calling for Trump’s Jerusalem decision to be withdrawn

In a 2003 article for the New Republic, Power:  “The U.S,” she wrote, “came to be seen less as it sees itself (the cop protecting the world from rogue nations) than as the very runaway state international law needs to contain.”

Power wrote that America’s record in world affairs had been so harmful to the freedoms of people around the world that the United States could remedy the problem only through profound self-criticism and the wholesale adoption of new policies. Acknowledging that President Bush was correct in saying that “some America-bashers” hate the American people’s freedoms, Ms. Power stated that much anti-Americanism derives from the role that U.S. power “has played in denying such freedoms to others” and concluded:

U.S. foreign policy has to be rethought. It needs not tweaking but overhauling….Instituting a doctrine of mea culpa would enhance our credibility by showing that American decision-makers do not endorse the sins of their predecessors. Why Samantha Power lighted the U.N. Israel firestorm

Samantha Power. One dangerous woman who voted the infamous abstention vote regarding Israel at the U.N. This is a reflection of Obama’s sentiments as well. Let us not forget. I have posted ad nauseam about how dangerous she is. If we want to know why the gasoline was just thrown on the fire in Israel, it was she who has been lighting the fire throughout the entire Middle East, especially Libya.

Three women who brought us the new long war in Libya, 2012 Bunkerville. For how Samantha Power, Susan Rice and Hillary Clinton broke the Middle East into a million pieces.

One thing is clear: The sudden emergence of Obama’s National Security Council Advisor, Samantha Power, and the “new theory” she is using as justification for action in Libya, has very serious implications for future military action against Israel. As John Podhoretz explains in the New York Post, the “reason” behind the Libyan military strike is not the traditional justification of “protecting the national interest.” It is a “new” standard called “R2P” or “right to protect.” This concept is being promulgated by the “one-world” order activists at the United Nations, like Samantha Power.

Report: Kerry to lay out U.N. Israel peace plan, get approval, impose on Israel.UPDATE

UPDATE:

Kerry to make Middle East peace speech on Wednesday – Israel News …

4 hours ago – US Secretary of State John Kerry will make remarks regarding Middle East peace on Wednesday and discuss next steps needed’

Israel doesn’t think that Obama is done with them yet nor do I. Kerry hovers in the background along with anti-Semite U.N. Ambassador Samantha Power. Is there another U.N. resolution in the works?

israel1TV reports: Netanyahu is wary that Kerry will set out parameters for permanent accord, then outgoing Obama administration will seek Security Council approval

Netanyahu’s fear is that Secretary of State John Kerry will set out principles or parameters for a Palestinian state in a speech that he has said he will deliver in the next few days on his Middle East vision. The prime minister fears that, in its final days, the Obama administration will seek to have a resolution enshrining those parameters adopted by the UN Security Council, the report said.

France is to hold a conference on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict on January 15, and Netanyahu expects that Kerry will attend, that the Middle East Quartet — the US, UN, Russia and EU — will coordinate their positions at that summit, and that they will then turn to the Security Council in the very last days of the Obama presidency, a Channel 10 report further suggested.

Addressing the weekly cabinet meeting in Jerusalem Sunday, Netanyahu reiterated his staunch opposition to Resolution 2334.

“We have no doubt that the Obama administration initiated it, stood behind it, coordinated its versions and insisted upon its passage,” he said.

White House to rally businesses to hire refugees, double global resettlement

Amazing isn’t it. One of the triumvirate of the Three women who brought us the new long war in Libyamaster planner of the failed Libyan State, designer of the non-Syrian intervention, blantant anti-semite, a master creator of all those refugees, now tells us and the world we need to import all of the refugees she helped create and disperse them and their primitive ideologies throughout the developed world. Lest we forget, I bring you a short snippet at the end as a reminder of just who Ms Power is, and the mindset of this administration. Yes, she is more than married to Cass Sunstein. She is and has been a threat to our Nation.

The White House will on Thursday rally businesses to give jobs to refugees ahead of a September summit where U.S. President Barack Obama will urge world leaders to boost humanitarian funds by a third and double the number of refugees being resettled.

U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, Samantha Power, said on Wednesday that the Obama summit during the annual gathering of world leaders at the United Nations would also aim to get one million refugee children in school and one million more refugees access to legal work in the neighboring countries they fled to.

“We need businesses, big and small, to do more too; which is why tomorrow, the White House is launching a private sector call to action, which will rally companies to do their part, from providing jobs to donating services to refugees,” Power said.

Power said the United Nations estimates that some 1.2 million refugees globally need to be resettled elsewhere because they are unsafe or their needs are not being met, but that in 2015 only 107,000 people relocated.

She said the United States intended to meet its goal of taking in 10,000 Syrian refugees, out of a total 85,000 refugees, this year and slammed calls by some Americans to halt the refugee program following attacks in Paris and Orlando

“Ignorance and prejudice make for bad advisors,” Power said. Really Samantha?

Gates: Obama went against all of the National Security team on ousting Mubarak

This is how we treat our friends and allies. Hillary Clinton, Samantha Power and Susan Rice orchestrated the ousting of Mubarak and the Arab Spring. Yet has Hilary been even questioned about it?

Former Secretary of Defense Robert Gates told Fox News that President Barack Obama ignored the advice of his “entire national security team” during the Egyptian coup in 2011 that ousted Hosni Mubarak, the country’s former president.

“Literally the entire national security team recommended unanimously handling Mubarak differently than we did,” Gates said. “And the president took the advice of three junior backbenchers in terms of how to treat Mubarak.”

Anti-Semite Susan Rice rises to NSA and Samantha Power moves to U.N.

In joining Ms. Rice and Ms. Power, Mrs. Clinton made an unusual break with Secretary of Defense Robert M. Gates, who, along with the national security adviser, Thomas E. Donilon, and the counterterrorism chief, John O. Brennan, had urged caution. Libya was not vital to American national security interests, the men argued, and Mr. Brennan worried that the Libyan rebels remained largely unknown to American officials, and could have ties to Al Qaeda.”

Clinton’s liberated Libya now haven for three virulent al Qaeda’s leaders

A few weeks ago, there were those who questioned what the accomplishments of Hillary Clinton as Secretary of State were. But indeed, the Arab Spring was one of her most significant accomplishments, setting aside Benghazi itself. Now the fruits of her labor are here, and we are about to appreciate the accomplishment. Egypt? For another day. Let us be sure and give her the credit for Libya. Was it Obama? No, not his decision. He can only lead from behind, and that is a stretch.

Leaders from at least three of al Qaeda’s most virulent affiliates are now in Libya. What are they planning there? Let’s  give Hillary the full credit.

From the post:Three women who brought us the new long war in Libya

Three women in the Obama administration lobbied the President hard, over the span of a few hours, to approve the strike in Libya over the advice of his military and defense leaders. (Josh Rogin at the Cable has a full report on the meeting.)

New York Times:

In joining Ms. Rice and Ms. Power, Mrs. Clinton made an unusual break with Secretary of DefenseRobert M. Gates, who, along with the national security adviser, Thomas E. Via Daily Beast:

Leaders from at least three of al Qaeda’s most virulent affiliates are now in Libya. What are they planning there?

In the nearly 20 months since the September 11, 2012 Benghazi attacks, al Qaeda operatives and allied terrorists have flocked to Libya, making the fragile North African country a hub for those seeking to wage jihad from north Africa, current and former U.S. counterterrorism officials tell The Daily Beast.

Not only does al Qaeda host Ansar al-Sharia, one of the militias responsible for the Benghazi attacks that killed Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans. But U.S. intelligence now assesses that leaders from at least three regional al Qaeda affiliates—al Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb, al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula and members of the organization of Al-Mulathameen Brigade loyal to Algerian terrorist, Mokhtar BelMokhtar—have all established havens in the lawless regions of Libya outside the control of the central government.

One U.S. military contractor working on counter-terrorism in Africa summed up the situation in Libya today as simply, “Scumbag Woodstock.” The country has attracted that star-studded roster of notorious terrorists and fanatics seeking to wage war on the West.

An American counter-terrorism official used a different metaphor to describe the situation. “Libya today plays host to members and associates of several AQ-allied groups, in some ways becoming a jihadist melting pot,” this official told The Daily Beast. “These groups haven’t united under the same banner, but the ad hoc links and intermittent cooperation among them are worrisome, especially as some of these groups have made no secret of their desire to conduct attacks beyond Libya’s borders.”

The collapse of security in Libya comes as the House of Representatives forms a special committee to investigate the 9/11 anniversary attacks in Benghazi. Those strikes, according to an investigation from the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, were the work of individuals with clear links to al Qaeda  (PDF). The report says that already in the summer before the Benghazi attacks the CIA and the Defense Intelligence Agency had produced reports on how al Qaeda affiliates were establishing havens in Libya.

Samantha Power doesn’t object, Iran gets seat on UN Women’s Rights body

Without objection from the Obama administration, Iran gets a seat on the UN’s women’s rights body.
CNS News reported:

The Obama administration on Wednesday criticized Iran’s election to the U.N.’s Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) – but neither the U.S. nor any other delegation objected when given the opportunity to do so, thus allowing Iran to get the seat “by acclamation.”

Iran will now serve on the CSW, a body dealing with gender equality and the advancement of women, for another four-year term, having already been a member since 2011.

U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Samantha Power took to Twitter to express her views: “Yet again Iran unopposed & was ‘elected’ to Commission on Status of Women. Given record on women’s & human rights, this is an outrage.”

But Richard Grenell, who served as spokesman for four U.S. ambassadors to the U.N. during the George W. Bush administration and is a close observer of the world body, was unimpressed with her reaction.

“Ambassador Power can tweet her outrage after the fact all she wants,” he said. “She should have been in the room for the vote and demanded a secret ballot rather than allow an automatic acclamation by her silence.”

Once again, Samantha Power is missing in action, or was she? Recall how  Muslims treat Egyptian Women.

Egyptian Women and the Practice of Female Genital Mutilation?

The BBC reported in 2007 that:

“Egypt’s first lady, Susanne Mubarak, has spoken out strongly against female circumcision, saying that it is a flagrant example of continued physical and psychological violence against children which must stop.” But Samantha Power, Susan Rice, and Hillary Clinton said Mubarak must go. The same for Gaddafi. Three women who brought us the new long war in Libya

A 2005 report by UNICEF suggested that 97% of Egyptian women between the ages of 15 and 49 who have never been married have undergone some form of FGM or circumcision. 6

An older meta-study on “female sexual castration” presented in 1989-MAR showed that five surveys conducted between 1977 and 1985 estimated that 80.5% of Egyptian women in Cairo and Alexandria had undergone FGM. 4

And in our Country? We have had our own brush with FGM. Only last Spring, the American Academy of Pediatrics supported a form of this in order to mollify the Muslims in our country. The hope was that this would reduce this more virulent form of  this “surgery”. Several months later, they were forced to retract the policy.

EQUALITY NOW CALLS ON AAP TO REVOKE ELEMENTS OF ITS 2010 POLICY STATEMENT THAT ENDORSES PEDIATRICIANS’ “NICKING” OF GIRLS’ GENITALIA

NEW YORK, May 5 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ — International human rights organization Equality Now is stunned by a new policy statement issued by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), which essentially promotes female genital mutilation (FGM) and advocates for “federal and state laws [to] enable pediatricians to reach out to families by offering a ‘ritual nick’,” such as pricking or minor incisions of girls’ clitorises. The Policy Statement “Ritual Genital Cutting of Female Minors“, issued by the AAP on April 26, 2010, is a significant set-back to the Academy’s own prior statements on the issue of FGM and is antithetical to decades of noteworthy advancement across Africa and around the world in combating this human rights violation against women and girls. PR Newswire and Big Gornment for more information.

Obama wants to increase contributions to United Nations by 33 percent

What does a law mean anyway? In 1994 President Clinton signed a law capping the U.S. contributions for peace keeping. But what the heck. With good old Samantha Power at the U.N., what does a law mean anyway. By the way, we  are over $17 trillion in debt. Keep this oldie moldie post in mind:  192 Countries exist in the world. We give Aid to 150 March 14, 2011

There are 192 countries in the world. We give out Aid to 150 of them. This doesn’t include that we have 120 military installations world-wide with hundreds of thousands of troops in an attempt to keep the world at relative peace. This is just what finished the Roman Empire. Can we  not  learn from History? Are we doomed to repeat it?

As you compute your taxes this year, remember how much of your hard-earned money is being given to foreign countries.

That’s us dishing-out an allowance to
over 78% of the nations in existence…

Via CNS News:

When U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Samantha Power testifies before a House Appropriations subcommittee on Wednesday, the panel will consider a budget request for international organizations that is 33 percent bigger than last year’s, including a 43 percent hike in U.S. contributions to peacekeeping missions.

The administration’s fiscal year 2015 budget request for the U.N. and other organizations is $4.036 billion, up from $3.031 billion in FY2014. For contributions to peacekeeping missions, it is asking for $2.518 billion, up from $1.765 last year.

The $2.518 billion for peacekeeping amounts to 28.36 percent of the U.N.’s total peacekeeping budget. The U.S. also provides 22 percent of the separate U.N. operating budget. The U.N. has 193 member states.

According to Heritage Foundation scholar Brett Schaefer, President Clinton in 1994 signed a law setting a 25 percent cap on U.S. contributions for U.N. peacekeeping, which at the time were running at around 30 percent.

U.N. Samantha Power blames Daniel Pearl for getting his throat slit

Delusional Panetta wants Syrian Military to stay, S. Power confused

President Obama’s team thought the Iranian regime might abandon dictator Bashar Assad over his use of chemical weapons in Syria’s civil war. No doubt this keen thinking originated from Iranian born Valerie Jarrett who has admitted her family still has ties to Iran. But if this is not enough for my Sunday Special, my readers get a bonus report.

Back in August of 2012, former U.S. Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta says that when Bashar al-Assad loses his grip on power, he wants the Syrian military to remain in place. I am sure Kerry no doubt has an even happier ending.

Depraved and Delusional formerUS Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta tells CNN that the US must make sure that the ruthless genocidal hated Baathist Alawite sect-packed Secret Police Security Forces stay in power after the inevitable overthrow of Dictator Bashar Assad.

Many of us have been looking for what the ending would be in Syria after we dispatched another head of a Middle East country. I happened on a Panetta video whose is equally clueless regarding the administration’s best wishes for a happy ending. So first, lets chug down Samantha Power and move on to Leo Panetta.

Obama team thought Iran would not tolerate Bashar Assad’s use of WMDs

Samantha Power, the U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, hoped that a team of UN investigators — many of whom, presumably, have a longstanding relationship with Iranian leaders — could write a report that would convince Iran to abandon its ally at the behest of the United States.

“We worked with the UN to create a group of inspectors and then worked for more than six months to get them access to the country on the logic that perhaps the presence of an investigative team in the country might deter future attacks,” Power said at the Center for American Progress as she made the case for intervening in Syria.

“Or, if not, at a minimum, we thought perhaps a shared evidentiary base could convince Russia or Iran — itself a victim of Saddam Hussein’s monstrous chemical weapons attacks in 1987-1988 — to cast loose a regime that was gassing it’s people,” she said.

[565] CNN_ Interview with Defense Secretary Panetta on post-Assad Syria [AR_EN_FR_RU].flv
============================
U.S. Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta says that when Bashar al-Assad loses his grip on power, he wants the Syrian military to remain in place.

Here is some real clear critical thinking. I am just sure this is how it will go.

“I think it’s important when Assad leaves – and he will leave – to try to preserve stability in that country. And the best way to preserve that kind of stability is to maintain as much of the military, the police, as you can, along with the security forces, and hope that they will transition to a democratic form of government. That’s a key,” Panetta told CNN’s Pentagon Correspondent Barbara Starr in an exclusive interview in Tunis, Tunisia, Monday. (More of this Hopey, changey, thingey).

He said the United States shouldn’t allow a repeat of the Bush administration’s moves in Iraq, where it disbanded the Iraqi military.

“It’s very important that we don’t make the same mistakes we made in Iraq,” he said. “And that, particularly, when it comes things like the chemical sites. They (the Syrian military) do a pretty good job of securing those sites. If they suddenly walked away from that, it would be a disaster to have those chemical weapons fall into the wrong hands – hands of Hezbollah or other extremists in that area.”

Yep, Leon, that is what a whole lot of us are thinking.
