Jussie Smollett – Who are the Osundairo bros? Ola previously charged with attempted murder

It’s interesting that after weeks of coverage of Jussie Smollett there has been little discussion of the background of the two participants in the faux attack. “Abel” and “Ola” Osundairo.

Appears to be a Ola Facebook photo

The narrative created is a couple of nice “kids” just coming forth doing the right thing. Choir boys. Doing all they can to make things right. Innocent bystanders in this theater of the absurd. Forget this whole thing wouldn’t have gone down without them.

Maybe Ola, nicknamed “Juice”, may have helped Jussie with a drug or two…for a price. Oh, by the way, Ola had a charge of attempted murder…stabbed a guy… but I am sure it was just a one-off.

I did hear one vague reference that one may have been on probation, but no reason mentioned.

So I scoured what was out there and came up with portions of the following sources:

Chicago Sun Times :

…….

Abimbola and Olabinjo Osundairo were unknown to most of the world until recently, when authorities revealed that the brothers — who are known as “Abel” and “Ola” — were intimately involved in the alleged bogus attack on “Empire” actor Jussie Smollett.

Public records paint a picture of two men in dire financial straits. Olabinjo “Ola” Osundairo, 27, was also no stranger to violence.

Court records show that Olabinjo Osundairo was charged with attempted murder in a 2011 stabbing that occurred in the 4200 block of North Ashland. That is less than a block from the home that police raided in the Smollett investigation, where they recovered personal effects, including cell phones, a source said.

Olabinjo Osundairo reached a plea deal with prosecutors and pleaded guilty to aggravated battery; he was sentenced to two years of probation and ordered to pay a $674 fine. (Ed: It’s Chicago don’t forget.)

……

Court records show both men filed for bankruptcy in September 2016 and collectively owed more than $120,000 in student loans.

At the time, neither brother reported having a full-time job. Their monthly incomes, they said, were $160 and $142, which they earned from various odd jobs.

….

Abimbola Osundairo, in his bankruptcy filing, claimed an interest in investing. He reported that he owned four shares of a pharmaceutical company, one share of Berkshire Hathaway and one share of Alibaba, the Chinese e-commerce company. He valued the shares at $300 at the time, though a single share of Berkshire Hathaway was worth more than $200,000 at the time of the filing.

(Ed: Otherwise known as fraud. Heck doesn’t every guy in the hood have a share or two of Berkshire Hathaway?)

…..

In 2017, Olabinjo Osundairo co-founded a home remodeling company. In his bio on the company’s website, he says he has three degrees, including a master’s degree in business and a bachelor’s degree in management. The other company co-founder could not be reached.

Abimbola Osundairo, 25, graduated from Lake View High School in Chicago, where he participated in football, track and field, soccer, and wrestling, before joining the football team at Quincy University in western Illinois, according to a football profile on the university’s website. Olabinjo Osundairo, 27, also was on the Quincy football team and had attended Latmos Comprehensive College in Lagos, Nigeria, according to his football profile.

The brothers are bodybuilders who have developed an online following and have dabbled in acting and at least one failed business venture, according to social media posts and news reports.

It appears that this is Ola’s Facebook though I have not been able to double confirm this, you decide:

In December 2018, Ola uploaded a picture of him and his brother modeling “Winter Face Masks” for $20 to Facebook. The pair also modeled hooded sweatshirts, vests and baseball caps with the logo “Team Abel,” which is Abel’s Instagram handle.

Ola and his brother were both football players at Quincy University, having also attended Lakeview High School in Chicago together. According to Ola’s official profile on the school’s website, he played a total of four games at varsity level during his time at the school between 2011 and 2014. In the 2013 season, Ola recorded a solo tackle. That profile describes Ola has having two brothers, one of whom, Abel, was a defensive back for the Quincy Hawks. The bio also says that Ola attended Latmos Comprehensive College in Lagos, Nigeria. The piece names their father as Lanre Osundairo.

American Psychological Association decrees Manhood a Mental Disorder

They went and finally did it. The APA now supports the gelding of the male specie. They were working up to it. The data used to support the violent male is suspect. Either way, castrating American males will ensure the end to Western civilization.

The American Psychological Association has declared that manhood is a mental disorder.

For the first time ever, APA is releasing guidelines to help psychologists work with men and boys.

At first blush, this may seem unnecessary. For decades, psychology focused on men (particularly white men), to the exclusion of all others. And men still dominate professionally and politically: As of 2018, 95.2 percent of chief operating officers at Fortune 500 companies were men. According to a 2017 analysis by Fortune, in 16 of the top companies, 80 percent of all high-ranking executives were male. Meanwhile, the 115th Congress, which began in 2017, was 81 percent male.

APA’s new Guidelines for Psychological Practice With Boys and Men strive to recognize and address these problems in boys and men while remaining sensitive to the field’s androcentric past. Thirteen years in the making, they draw on more than 40 years of research showing that traditional masculinity is psychologically harmful and that socializing boys to suppress their emotions causes damage that echoes both inwardly and outwardly.

Prior to the second-wave feminist movement in the 1960s, all psychology was the psychology of men. Most major studies were done only on white men and boys, who stood in as proxies for humans as a whole. Researchers assumed that masculinity and femininity were opposite ends of a spectrum, and “healthy” psychology entailed identifying strongly with the gender roles conferred by a person’s biological sex.

But just as this old psychology left out women and people of color and conformed to gender-role stereotypes, it also failed to take men’s gendered experiences into account. Once psychologists began studying the experiences of women through a gender lens, it became increasingly clear that the study of men needed the same gender-aware approach, says Levant.

The main thrust of the subsequent research is that traditional masculinity—marked by stoicism, competitiveness, dominance and aggression—is, on the whole, harmful. Men socialized in this way are less likely to engage in healthy behaviors.
….

Gender and sexual minorities, too, must grapple with societal views of masculinity. This is an ever-shifting territory. When Levant and Rabinowitz launched the guideline-drafting process in 2005, only Massachusetts recognized same-sex marriage. Today, transgender issues are at the forefront of the cultural conversation, and there is increased awareness of the diversity of gender identity.

“What is gender in the 2010s?” asks Ryon McDermott, PhD, a psychologist at the University of South Alabama who also helped draft the men’s guidelines. “It’s no longer just this male-female binary.”

Though there is now more flexibility in gender norms than 30 years ago, according to Liang and McDermott, boys and men who identify as gay, bisexual or transgender still face higher-than-average levels of hostility and pressure to conform to masculine norms. The 2015 National School Climate Survey found that 85 percent of LGBTQ students reported verbal harassment at school over their sexual orientation or gender expression (GLSEN, 2015). Gender-nonconforming students reported worse treatment than did LGBTQ kids who conformed with traditional gender norms. These kinds of results indicate that gender policing still occurs, Liang says.

Obama opens all Federal building showers, bathrooms to trangendered

There was a time when men went to barber shops and talked what men talk about and women went to beauty salons and enjoyed trashy movie star magazines, caught up on the news of the neighborhood with a touch of gossip. Am I getting old? Now we are going to allow potential perverts without question into women’s showers and changing rooms in all federal buildings. By the way this includes National Parks for those of us who are campers. Here tis:

The Obama administration has ordered 9,000-plus federal buildings across the United States allow biological men into women’s bathrooms, locker rooms and showers in order to comply with the administration’s interpretation of Title IX law.

The order comes after the Department of Justice and Department of Education sent a significant guidance letter to all public school districts in May, advising them to allow transgender students to have access to bathrooms and locker rooms designated for the opposite biological sex.

The GSA guidance explains that individuals will not be required “to show proof of surgery to be treated in accordance with their gender identity and obtain access to the restroom corresponding with their gender identity.”

The bulletin adds that federal employers can not side-step the bulletin by requiring transgender individuals to use single-user restrooms.
As 24 states are suing the Obama administration over the public school transgender guidance, Severino asserts that legal action might be the only way to get a message across to the administration that the American people have not yet approved of its interpretation of Title IX

WH says ‘Just putting up curtains’ in locker rooms will protect privacy in trans locker rooms

Little mentioned this weekend, as the Nation attempts to grapple with the latest edict spewing forth regarding bathroom access, was that this is not just limited to bathrooms. Even more intrusive is that this applies to locker rooms and showers as well. And why should it stop at just school age children? Let’s wreck our common sense norms at any cost. Here Josh Ernest with his best cavalier attitude.

White House spokesman Josh Earnest told reporters Friday that the administration issued specific suggestions along with its directive for public schools nationwide to allow students to use bathrooms and locker rooms according to their gender identity (rather than their biological sex) and that one suggestion is “just putting up curtains” in school locker rooms.
