NYC Judge orders transit to post ‘Killing Jews is worship…’

It is as if common sense has departed even those who are supposed to display some degree of intelligence. All of this under the umbrella of diversity and acceptance. Want to support the notion of killing Jews? No problem. Christians next. I wonder how killing a Muslim would fly?

Here we go:

NEW YORK (Reuters) – A federal judge on Tuesday ordered New York’s Metropolitan Transportation Authority to display on its buses a controversial ad that refers to Muslims killing Jews, rejecting the argument that the ad could incite terrorism or imminent violence.

U.S. District Judge John Koeltl in Manhattan said the ad from the American Freedom Defense Initiative, which had previously run in Chicago and San Francisco, was protected speech under the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution.

The ad portrays a menacing man wearing a scarf around his head and face, includes a quotation “Killing Jews is Worship that draws us close to Allah” attributed to “Hamas MTV,” and then states, “That’s His Jihad. What’s yours?”

Koeltl said he was “sensitive” to the security concerns, but noted that the MTA and Chairman Thomas Prendergast “underestimate the tolerant quality of New Yorkers and overestimate the potential impact of these fleeting advertisements. It strains credulity to believe that New Yorkers would be incited to violence by ads that did not incite residents of Chicago and San Francisco.”

Obama: ‘There is less violence around the world than 40 years ago

Well now I can sleep like a baby.Obama and Kerry share the belief that the world is doing swell. We have nothing to worry about. Tingles should have really gotten a tingle with this one. Iran about to get Nukes, Christians being slaughtered, the Middle East in flames. Rest easy friends.

Obama, his links to Kenya and lack of calling out Islam in massacre

Anyone wondering why Obama didn’t call out the bad guys who tore up the Kenyan College? Hannity interviewed James Corsi back a few years and the interview will tell you all you need to know about this Muslim loving President and Kenya. By the way, Obama is planning on going to Kenya later this year. Here we go:

Barack Obama managed to put out a statement on the Garissa College massacre on Friday without mentioning Islam, Christians, Al-Shabaab Islamists or Islamic extremism.

Via Weasel Zippers and The White House website:

Statement by the President on the Garissa University College Terrorist Attack

Michelle and I join the American people in expressing our horror and sadness at the reports coming out of Garissa, Kenya. Words cannot adequately condemn the terrorist atrocities that took place at Garissa University College, where innocent men and women were brazenly and brutally massacred. We join the world in mourning them, many of whom were students pursuing an education in the pursuit of a better life for themselves and their loved ones. They represented a brighter future for a region that has seen too much violence for far too long. We also commend the heroism of the responders who lost their lives in the selfless protection of the students and faculty.

I know firsthand the extraordinary resilience and fundamental decency of the people of Kenya. So I know that the people of Garissa and all of Kenya will grieve, but their determination to achieve a better and more secure future will not be deterred. And neither will the resolve of the United States. We will stand hand-in-hand with the Kenyan Government and people against the scourge of terrorism and in their efforts to bring communities together. This much is clear: the future of Kenya will not be defined by violence and terror; it will be shaped by young people like those at Garissa University College – by their talents, their hopes, and their achievements. This is a message I will relay to the Kenyan people when I visit Kenya in July. Even at this difficult hour, the Kenyan people should know they have an unwavering friend and ally in the United States of America.

He did manage to blather on about bringing communities together – as if dialogue is what is needed to battle the al-Shabaab killers.

Kerry tells Congress to go to heck. Will he take ‘agreement’ to the U.N.?

Haughty John Kerry who just gave a lecture to Congress about “interfering” with policy was the same man who gave aid and comfort to our enemy during the Vietnam War. So now the Iran deal is not a treaty but an agreement that will be taken to the U.N. and sanctions will be lifted. I ask you, who is the traitor?

The Obama administration hinted Thursday that it may take elements of an Iranian nuclear deal to the United Nations — while bypassing Congress for now. And that possibility has turned an already ugly political fight over the negotiations even nastier.

In one scenario floated this week, the White House would not immediately put aspects of an Iran deal up for a vote in Congress. Instead, the Obama administration would take aspects of the agreement to the United Nations Security Council — making the U.N. the target of a Congressional hatefest.

Obama fires Man first because of Hamas ties, rehired for bigger job

Yes indeed. We are starting to see the real Obama. Not that many of us have been jumping up and down for years. But now he is getting more bold. Unquestioned up to this point with nothing to lose, he will fill our government with every sort of riffraff. And does anyone still wonder why Bibi wanted to swing by?

First from an earlier post:

Kerry may hire Hamas supporter diplomat for advisory post

Malley has a controversial anti-Israel history that includes chastising the Jewish state while negotiating with Hamas. He also has defended Hezbollah, as well as other violent and illiberal Middle East factions.

Malley’s most prominent misstep came in 2008 when he was fired from his post as an adviser to then-Sen. Obama after he entered into direct negotiations with Hamas.

H/T:Free Beacon

Here we go:

Let’s go back to 2008 when candidate Obama was trying to convince people that he wasn’t anti-American and anti-Israel. The problem was that he was surrounded by people who were both. So a few had to go under the bus. Like Robert Malley.

The Times of London reports that Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., has fired one of his foreign policy advisers — Robert Malley of the International Crisis Group — for meeting with the Palestinian group Hamas, which the U.S. State Department classifies as a terrorist organization.

“He was one of literally hundreds of informal, outside advisors,” Obama spokesman Bill Burton told ABC News, confirming the Times account.

Hundreds. Informal. Outside.

Then Robert Malley, who was meeting with Hamas on behalf of George Soros’ International Crisis Group, became one of the few formal inside advisers.

In February of last year, he became a senior director of the National Security Council. Now the sky is the limit.

Today, National Security Adviser Susan E. Rice announced that Philip Gordon, Special Assistant to the President and White House Coordinator for the Middle East, North Africa and the Gulf Region will be stepping down, and will be succeeded by Robert Malley, currently NSC Senior Director for Iran, Iraq, Syria and the Gulf States.

“There could be no better successor to Phil than Rob Malley, who is already one of my most trusted advisers and ideally placed to provide a seamless transition.  One of our country’s most respected experts on the Middle East, since February 2014 Rob has played a critical role in forming our policy on Iran, Iraq, Syria, and the Gulf.  I look forward to working with him in his new role.”

Obama and his long dirty little fingers in Yemen

Obama’s Arab Spring policies have really borne fruit, no? The US and the Saudis pressured dictator Ali Abdullah Saleh to resign in November 2011, as part of the efforts by the White House to clear the decks in the region with the so-called Arab Spring. Saleh had survived for 30 years by playing both sides of the Shi’a/Sunni divide, which the weak successor government couldn’t accomplish. (Above from HotAir)

While our State department was looking the other way, Iran moves on into Yemen. Looking back on earlier posts, it didn’t take a rocket scientist to figure that Yemen was headed down the tubes. Even worse, the media turned a blind eye to the Executive Orders by our imperial President. Just a few months ago, Obama was touting Yemen as a success story. Yet all one had to do is check out the internet for the real news. Here are a few memories just for the record. I am including links to earlier posts. This says it all, all part of the so called Arab Spring.

[HOT NEWS] Obama’s critics dismiss Yemen, Somalia airstrikes as model to fight ISIS – Sept 12, 2014

When President Barack Obama said that U.S. strategy to combat the terror group ISIS could follow the models of strikes in Yemen and Somalia, it drew a swift rebuttal from some top Republicans.

Obama signed Executive Order, gags press coverage of Yemen

An Executive order seeks to punish U.S. citizens even for “indirectly” obstructing dictatorial rule in Yemen. First the news:

Turmoil Over Video Spreads to Yemen  New York Times

Witnesses said Yemeni security forces had tried to disperse a crowd at the fortified embassy compound. But protesters broke through an outer perimeter protecting the embassy, clambering over a high wall and setting fire to a building. They were forced to retreat after trying to plunder furniture and computers.

The protests came hours after a Muslim cleric, Abdul Majid al-Zandani, urged followers to emulate the protests in Libya and Egypt, Sana residents said.

Now, An Executive order seeks to punish U.S. citizens even for “indirectly” obstructing dictatorial rule in Yemen.

There seems to be little question that the Obama administration is devoted to imposing dictatorial order on Yemen through the use of force and liberty abridgment. As Scahill previously reported, Obama has played a direct personal role in the ongoing imprisonment of a Yemeni journalist who committed the crime of documenting the large number of civilian deaths from a U.S. cluster bomb attack on his country as well as exposing the joint lies of the Yemeni and U.S. Government. The latest U.S. drone strike in Yemen yesterday, even according to Yemeni officials, killed more civilians than alleged “militants.” The bombing campaign in Yemen now increasingly resembles the one conducted in Pakistan, though Yemen saw more drone strikes this month than any previous month in Pakistan.

President Obama issued an executive order last May giving the Treasury Department authority to freeze the U.S.-based assets of anyone who “obstructs” implementation of the administration-backed political transition in Yemen.

The unusual order, which administration officials said also targets U.S. citizens who engage in activity deemed to threaten Yemen’s security or political stability, is the first issued for Yemen that does not directly relate to counterterrorism.

In other words, the U.S. Government will now punish anyone who is determined — in the sole discretion of the U.S. Government — even to “indirectly” obstruct the full transition of power to President Hadi. But what if someone — a Yemeni or an American — opposes Hadi’s rule and wants to agitate for a real election in which more than one candidate runs? Is that pure political advocacy, as it appears, now prohibited by the U.S. Government, punishable by serious sanctions, on the ground that it “obstructs” the transition of power to Hadi? Can journalists who report on corruption or violence by the Hadi regime and who write Op-Eds demanding a new election be accused, as it seems, of “threatening Yemen’s political stability”

Water boarding bad, killing kids good. Typical Progressive logic. The President has taken it upon himself to waive the sanctions against countries using child soldiers. The Child Soldier Protection Act was originally passed in 2008 by Congress-but he just waives it.

”I hereby determine that it is in the national interest of the United States to waive the application to Chad, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Sudan, and Yemen of the prohibition in section 404(a) of the CSPA”. So children, it’s off to war you go.

Al Jazerra E-Mails show contempt for French murder victims

Through the years I have done numerous posts concerning the administration’s determination to have Al Jazerra fill our homes via cable T.V. with their often anti-Israel pro Islamic rhetoric. While other countries are kicking them out, Egypt for one, we embrace the enemy. Even worse, our State Department under the leadership of Hillary Clinton demonstrated her naiveté at the least. Now we hear how Al Jazeera thinks about the latest terrorist attack in France. I include a few snippets of earlier posts just for a refresher. Here we go:

While citizens around the free world embraced the mantra “Je suis Charlie” to show solidarity with the murdered employees of a French satirical magazine, a top editor at a Muslim-owned news organization had a different message for his colleagues: “We are Al Jazeera.”

A leaked email from Al Jazeera English Editor and Executive Producer Salah-Aldeen Khadr used the twist on a viral phrase used around the world to show support for victims of Wednesday’s Islamist terror attack on Charlie Hebdow in Paris. The magazine was targeted for its penchant for publishing forbidden caricatures of Prophet Muhammed, which it did in addition to poking fun at other religions.

“Was this really an attack on “free speech?” Khadr asked his subordinates in the email blast. “Who is attacking free speech here exactly?

“Defending freedom of expression in the face of oppression is one thing; insisting on the right to be obnoxious and offensive just because you can is infantile,” wrote Khadr, quoting Time magazine, as he urged Al Jazeera staffers to consider that “I am Charlie” is an “alienating slogan – with us or against us type of statement – one can be anti-CH’s racism and ALSO against murdering people.”

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton spoke before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee on Wednesday.

“Viewership of Al Jazeera is going up in the United States because it’s real news,” You may not agree with it, but you feel like you’re getting real news around the clock instead of a million commercials and, you know, arguments between talking heads and the kind of stuff that we do on our news which, you know, is not particularly informative to us, let alone foreigners.”

Egypt kicks out Al-Jazeera, U.S. embraces news source   July 12, 2013

Every good organizer knows that control of the media is paramount. The good news is that Egypt has had enough of Al-Jazeera.

In the U.S., Soledad O’Brien and other journalists have flocked to Al Jazeera,  but in the Middle East, the network  for the past week has been facing a  major challenge to its credibility  including mass staff resignations, a  raid of one of its offices, its reporters  kicked out of a news  conference by fellow journalists, and the arrest of some  of its staffers  by Egyptian security forces.

The dramatic developments are the  result of widespread perceptions in Egypt  and in the Arab world that Al  Jazeera has shown a pro-Muslim Brotherhood slant  in its reporting.

Obama urges Cable Companies to Carry Al-Jazeera? even though there is no question that they support the Muslim Brotherhood? That they are anti-American? Anti-Israel?

AJE’s battle with the cable carriers is major news in the Middle East. Not carrying the network sends a message to the Arab world about America’s unwillingness to accept information, unfiltered, from the very region we spend so much time talking about.

Al-Awalaki Praises Al-Jazeera, Wikileaks and Media Jihad

In his latest message to the world, Al-Awlaki defends the journalists of one such “trustworthy” Muslim source, Al-Jazeera, and praises the Western media source WikiLeaks. The message, a six-minute video of his speech “A Message to the Members of the Media,” was released February 14, 2011 by the jihadi forum Shumukh Al-Islam.[4] In it, Al-Awlaki also accuses the U.S. and the West of using liberty and freedom of expression as a pretext to take over the world’s resources and treasures, and to oppress and deprive people of their rights. He said that whenever anyone tries to expose “the truth about the U.S. and its agents,”
