Clinton snubbed by ‘Youth Group Leaders” in Egypt

So, Hillary, not everything working out as you had planned? We have posted like it seems forever on the State Dept and Hillary setting up meetings for the purpose of agitating the youth into revolt. Here is one of our posts: Who all is involved in the Egyptian uprising? The April 6th, and January 25th meetings were key. Another round-up of our posts: Obama Egypt Google and the State Dept.: A Revolution

A spokesman for Clinton had no immediate response to the snub. Another State Department official, who would not speak for attribution, confirmed such a meeting had been slated for Tuesday and noted that she still plans to meet with members of civil society and transitional government officials during her visit, during which she will urge Egyptians to continue on the path towards democracy.

“There was an invitation for members of the coalition to meet Secretary of State Hillary Clinton but based on her negative position from the beginning of the revolution and the position of the US administration in the Middle East, we reject this invitation,” the January 25 Revolution Youth Coalition said in a statement posted on its Facebook page. Clinton addresses the group back in 2009:

Russia blames Google for stirring Egypt unrest

ERIC SCHMIDT, FORMER GOOGLE CEO: My view of Mr. Soros is that he is one of the most important people in the world today in terms of the impact he has had.

The world’s governments are getting sick of google and its shenanigans.

We should be as well. Glenn Beck takes a shot first as to why we should be wary:

First they are working really, really closely with the government. That is OK. They have a close relationship with the NSA. OK. They work closely with law enforcement. Cool with that. Last year they signed a $27 million deal with the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency. I don’t even know what that is.

But they have been accused of receiving preferential treatment and a $6.5 million contract with the General Services Administration. They are working hard to bring net neutrality, the kind that we’ve talked about on this program that hard left groups like Free Press are advocating for.

Three reasons to be wary of Google

Eric Schmidt, the former CEO, he resigned two weeks ago, he is on the White House council for science and technology, co-chaired by John Holdren. They also have privileged access to NASA airfields.

Second point — they are working way too close with hard-core leftists. Eric Schmidt is on the board of an organization called the Politics of Trust Network. You might recognize a couple of other names on that board like Van Jones, oh, and Drummond Pike, the former CEO and founder of the Tides Foundation.

In 2010 the Google, Inc. charitable giving fund of the Tides Foundation gave over $145 million directly to nonprofits and academic institutions. Google has made donations in the seven figure range to Moveon.org. George Soros is doing that, too, one of farther left political action groups in America.

They also gave money to the Trickle Up Program, a big recipient of cash from the Tides Foundation and George Soros’ Open Society Institute. And speaking of George Soros, here is Eric Schmidt saying this about George Soros. Full story here at  Fox News

Russia is getting tired of google as well:

Prime Minister Vladimir Putin’s deputy blamed Google Inc in an interview published on Tuesday for stirring up trouble in the revolution that ousted Egyptian leader Hosni Mubarak.

“Look what they have done in Egypt, those highly-placed managers of Google, what manipulations of the energy of the people took place there,” Russian Deputy Prime Minister Igor Sechin told the Wall Street Journal.

Russia has so far resisted placing restrictions on the Internet, but analysts say there are a group of hardliners close to Putin who would like to impose controls similar to China’s.

Chinese President Hu Jintao called on Saturday for stricter government management of the Internet and warned top Communist Party leaders that China was facing deepening social conflicts that would test the party’s ability to maintain firm control. Reuters

China is sick of google as well. Google said it left China because of censorship… sure… China knew what google was up to. Simple.

China’s Top News Agency Launches State-Controlled Search Engine

China’s government-run news agency has launched its own Internet search engine, Panguso.com. The new search site will be operated by a joint venture company controlled by the Xinhua News Agency and China Mobile, the world’s largest mobile phone carrier in terms of subscribers, according to the Associated Press (NewsAlert

Obama and a Search Engine gets you get an Egyptian revolution

Please, give me a break. If I hear one more time how Obama is reacting to what is happening in Egypt! He is up to his eyeballs in the overthrow. On Friday, Wikileaks published a secret cable that detailed the U.S. government’s involvement with an Egyptian dissident.

UPDATE: WSJ 2/7/11:  Google Executive emerges as a key figure in the Revolt:Read Here

I have posted several stories about the April 6 group or “Alliance for Youth Movements”. Hillary Clinton set up these meetings Hilliary Video with Face Book and the Google Executives in order to teach youth around the world how to agitate.  Sorry, no clean hands Obama. When I heard that the Google Exec had gone missing in Egypt, I was just waiting for him to bubble back up, and that he did. An earlier story:State Dept was holding meetings with Egyptian Dissidents This says it all:

“What we shared is a belief in changing the world from the bottom up, not from the top down,” Obama told Google employees during a 2007 visit to its headquarters in Mountain View, Calif. Money CNN Didn’t Van Jones say something like that?

Google executive who has gone missing in Egypt has been “symbolically” named the spokesman for an opposition group, in an attempt to free him from being held by Egyptian authorities, CBS News reports.

Wael Ghonim, Google’s head of marketing for the middle east, flew into Egypt last week to participate in the demonstrations against the government. At some point he went missing, and one of his last tweets ominously read, “we are all ready to die.”

The demonstration where he Ghonim may have been captured was organized “largely” by the April 6 movement, CBS News reports. The April 6 movement is a youth movement in Egypt formed almost three years ago.

Earlier we posted how the State Dept was holding meetings with Egyptian dissidents. Digging more into the meeting of the Alliance of Youth Movements with these dissidents, what a surprise. The Executives from Google and Facebook were in attendance. Attendee List (Sorry- Scrubbed and changed)

Here is what happened at theAlliance of Youth Movements meeting. UPDATE: The Link has now been scrubbed and changed.

Obama talks to Afghanistan General McChrystal Twice in the past 70 days

Update: so, good news– Dear Leader spent 25 minutes with the General on his new best toy airplane that he loves to ride around in at a cost of thousands, Time to intro the little ladies to each other, and a nice photo op. Meanwhile he, and his genius Biden and the Military are at odds on what to do. Dither Dither Dither- while our brave men and women die. As the saying goes, do this or get off the pot. The One who voted 84 times “”present” in the State Senate will now have to be more than a Community Organizer.

He has time to fly to NYC for dinner and a show, go on David Letterman and fly to Denmark so his cronie town can host the Olympics. However, regarding Afghanistan, Obama has only spoken to General McChrystal once in 70 days and that was on VTC, video teleconferencing.

There must be more important matters at hand that protecting the United States from Terrorism.

“…The military general credited with capturing Saddam Hussein and killing the leader of al Qaeda in Iraq, Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, says he has spoken with President Obama only once since taking command in Afghanistan.”
