WH admits we have zero allies for Syria attack

Too bad Candy Crowley wasn’t as concerned about the truth when she moderated the debate between Romney and Obama. There are zero countries that will stick their neck out to support our one man band Syrian war event. Get off your horse Lurch, and go back and enjoy your rowboat. We are tired of being played as fools by fools.

Recently WSJ reported on John Kerry’s claim that the number of countries supporting a U.S. attack on Syria reached “double digits” but Kerry failed to name any.

JihadWatch noted the following:

Liechtenstein? Luxembourg? Andorra? San Marino? Monaco? Seychelles? Tuvalu? Tannu Tuva? No, not even them. Kerry didn’t name them because he doesn’t have them. He is bluffing.

Apparently, McDonough has a similar problem. In a CNN interview with White House Chief of Staff, Dennis McDonough was repeatedly pressed by Candy Crowley to provide examples of countries that will endorse or provide personnel or equipment for a military intervention in Syria. McDonough emphasized other nations condemnations of Syria but no specifics on support for intervention. The key WH strategy seems to be the repeated memo phrase:  ”Holding him [Syria] to account,” and vague references of “support.”

Appearing on CNN on September 8, White House chief of staff Denis McDonough couldn’t provide one example of a country currently offering military support for an intervention in Syria.

Porker Candy Crowley says Obama didn’t call Benghazi a terrorist attack

For some reason this tidbit caught my eye. No, it no great reveal about the various scandals of the day, but it should give those of us who were becoming discouraged that the truth of this regime would ever reach the consciousness of Americans hope. The press who were complicit in the cover ups and told us to put on the tin foil hats now get their payback. Of all of the despicable acts, Candy Crowley was the most galling to me when she inserted herself into the debates last fall and got Romney off his stride on the Benghazi issue. So now Crowley has received enlightenment as CNN tanks in their viewership. Here we go, quite amusing:

On the May 19, 2013 broadcast of CNN’s State of the Union, host Candy Crowley said that Obama was late in identifying the attacks in Benghazi as terrorism quite contrary to what she said during the Presidential debates late last year.

At the October 16 debate during which she acted the role of partisan moderator, Crowley backed up the President’s claim that he called the attacks at Benghazi an act of terrorism. This threw Romney for a loop and made him second guess his assertion that Obama took weeks to definitively call the attacks terrorism. The segment made Romney look suddenly unsure of himself and hampered his performance that night.

But in fact, Crowley’s own news agency, CNN, had reported that Obama called the attacks at Benghazi terrorism “for the first time” only on September 20, nine days after the attacks.

Crowley herself also reported that the President was recalcitrant in calling it terrorism. As it happens her inexplicable and unwarranted support of Obama on the debate stage contradicted her own reporting on Benghazi.

In September, only a few weeks before the debate, Crowley had said on CNN that Obama took 17 days to give a “sort of definitive statement

In an interview with White House spokesman Dan Pfeiffer on the May 19, 2013, broadcast of CNN’s “State of the Union,” host Candy Crowley said that Obama was late in identifying the attacks in Benghazi as terrorism quite contrary to what she said during the Presidential debates late last year.

Best Politcal ad ever? Obama reaches new low

As if the campaign of Obama could not take a lower road, it does. We have his “Romney is a B..S.er.” in Rolling Stone, now this. It is not enough to insult women’s intelligence – one trick ponies that only care about their free birth control, lets sexualize it more. Mammograms,  babies, now one can talk about Obama’s sexual prowess by innuendo. Undecided voters? Wake up. King Shamus has a great review of what is going on with this. Slide over for his full rant. Warning this is a crude one.

Mitt Romney wants to talk about creating jobs, cutting the deficit and reigning in runaway entitlements. Barack Obama wants to turn the polling booth into a Democrat Party boudoir. Which one sounds reasonable and which one sounds repellent and intrusive?

Let’s get beyond the creepiness of the clip. It was made by card-carrying members of the Left’s great religious movement. One of the most important tenets of the faith is the hyper-sexualization of their Great Super Cocksman. From Candy Crowley to Bill Maher, many progressives are dying to make babies with Barack Obama. Lena Dunham is just the latest liberal to profess her love for the cutest widdle political puppy dog.

Candy Crowley interrupts Romney a zillion times – then explains, video

Why does this person still have a job? Now I know now why the debate was so annoying. There is a longer version out there, but this should do it for us to get the gist of it.

Hot Air:

Candy herself used to think the White House’s spin about “acts of terror” was lame, and that Obama had all but admitted to an audience member afterward that, yeah, the Rose Garden statement didn’t mean a whole lot. But hey — she wanted a bigger role in the debate and the left wanted more “fact-checking” of Romney since the only reason he won that first debate was because he’s a lying liar who lies, you know, so she chimed in at an opportune moment on their candidate’s behalf. CNN sounds pretty happy about it, which is what’s really important.

Candy admits she might just get a question on Libya when she is the one that picked them? Romney picked the wrong word????

Candy Crowley to the rescue – inserts herself and bails out Obama

After reading the comments from the left, apparently they are thrilled Candy came to the rescue of our flailing president regarding the attack of our embassy and killing of our Ambassador. Fortunately the next debate will be foreign policy. Mitt missed a chance, but Candy looked the fool. Most people probably are not that engaged in the Libya story since the media is giving it scant attention.  Energy? Obama is a bigger fool, check out yesterday’s post. Obama cuts off drilling in half of Alaska national petroleum reserve. Candy didn’t feel inclined to correct this record. I am sorry we did not have a knock out punch

President Obama is campaigning as a champion of the oil and gas boom he’s had nothing to do with, and even as his regulators try to stifle it. The latest example is the Interior Department’s little-noticed August decision to close off from drilling nearly half of the 23.5 million acre National Petroleum Reserve in Alaska.

Have we learned anything about choosing the left for moderators? Here we go:

One of the big moments from Tuesday’s presidential debate between Barack Obama and former Gov. Mitt Romney occurred when moderator Candy Crowley of CNN injected herself into the discussion after Romney accused the president of refusing to refer to the attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi as a terrorist act.

“I think (it’s) interesting the president just said something which — which is that on the day after the attack he went into the Rose Garden and said that this was an act of terror,” said Gov. Romney.

“That’s what I said,” the president responded.

“You said in the Rose Garden the day after the attack, it was an act of terror. It was not a spontaneous demonstration, is that what you’re saying?”

“Please proceed, governor.”

“I want to make sure we get that for the record because it took the president 14 days before he called the attack in Benghazi an act of terror.”

“Get the transcript.”

“It — it — it — he did in fact, sir,” Crowley said, offering the president what looked to be a little debate assistance.

“Can you say that a little louder, Candy?” the president asked confidently.

“He — he did call it an act of terror. It did as well take — it did as well take two weeks or so for the whole idea there being a riot out there about this tape to come out. You are correct about that,” Crowley said.

Debate ‘Moderator Raddatz Visited Biden at His Residence in March

No surprise, yet one wonders why the GOP ever agreed to the debate process. Candy Crowley will no doubt be equally as effective in allowing an honest, non-biased debate process.  Earlier

White House marriage ties to presidential debate commission continue with  Valerie Jarrett

Daily Caller:

The Daily Caller previously reported on  other marital ties and family ties between the debate commission and the White  House.

Connections include the former marriage of Federal Communications Commission  Chairman Julius Genachowski and ABC senior foreign correspondent Martha Raddatz,  who will be moderating the vice presidential debate on Oct. 11.

Now we learn:

White House records reveal that the moderator of the vice presidential debate, Martha Raddatz, visited Vice President Joe Biden at his official residence on March 26, 2012. Raddatz is an employee of ABC News.

On at least one other occasion, Raddatz visited the White House. According to records, that visit was on December 18, 2009. The reason for that visit is not known, though her meeting appears to have taken place in the Old Executive Office Building, and not the West Wing.

Before last night’s debate, Raddatz came under scrutiny after the Daily Caller revealed that President Barack Obama had attended her wedding in 1991 to her now ex-husband, Obama administration official Julius Genachowski.

Now, after the debate, Raddatz has been criticized for “interrupting [Paul Ryan] 31 times” and even CNN called the moderator “the third debater.”
