Flashback: AG Lynch told Congress Considering Prosecuting Climate Deniers

Many of us may have forgotten just how evil the justice department was and used during the Obama/Biden administration regarding climate change. Now with Biden calling Trump a Climate terrorist and that the world will come to an end with four more years of him, let’s take a look at what we are in for with a return of these wretched individuals in high places. Here is a flashback:

AG Loretta Lynch appeared before Congress in March of 20, 2016. The possibility of going after climate deniers by the FBI should put fear in every heart. Can you imagine? Going after businesses and people if they do not accept the faux science of climate change? If this isn’t Alice in Wonderland I don’t know what is. Let’s get to it:

(CNSNews.com) – Attorney General Loretta Lynch acknowledged Wednesday that there have been discussions within the Department of Justice about possibly pursuing civil action against so-called climate change deniers.

“This matter has been discussed. We have received information about it and have referred it to the FBI to consider whether or not it meets the criteria for which we could take action on,” Lynch said at a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on Justice Department operations.

Republican senators demand the Justice Department cease its investigation; Doug McKelway takes a closer look for ‘Special Report’

Why is DOJ digging into records of climate change skeptics?

Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse (D-R.I.) raised the issue, drawing a comparison between possible civil action against climate change deniers and civil action that the Clinton administration pursued against the tobacco industry for claiming that the science behind the dangers of tobacco was unsettled.

“A request for action by the Department of Justice has been referred by you to the FBI. My question to you is other than civil forfeitures and matters attendant to a criminal case, are there other circumstances in which a civil matter under the authority of the Department of Justice has been referred to the FBI?” he asked.

“Senator, thank you for raising that issue, and thank you for your work in this area. I know your commitment is deep. This matter has been discussed. We have received information about it and have referred it to the FBI to consider whether or not it meets the criteria for which we could take action on.

California scrubs history of Kamala Harris arrest records

A redesign of the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation website will make it harder for voters to inspect Sen. Kamala Harris’s controversial record as the state’s Attorney General. Flashback August 3, 2019:

Are we really surprised?

The department removed public access to a number of reports on incarceration in the state, including when presidential candidate Kamala Harris (D.) was California’s attorney general. Twice a year, the CDCR releases information about the number of new individuals incarcerated in the California prison system as part of its “Offender Data Points” series.

These reports provide important information on demographics, sentence length, offense type, and other figures relevant to criminal justice and incarceration.

Until recently, these reports were publicly available at the CDCR’s websiteA search using archive.org’s Wayback Machine reveals that as of April 25, 2019—the most recent indexed date—ODP reports were available dating back to the spring of 2009. As of August 2019, the same web page now serves only a single ODP report, the one for Spring 2019.

One particularly brutal attack came the night when Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D., Hi.) laid into Harris for her record on criminal justice. Gabbard cited a Washington Free Beacon analysis — based in part on the ODP reports — that found that more than 1,500 Californians were sent to prison for marijuana-related offenses while Harris was attorney general.

The data have been used in other Free Beacon reporting on Harris, specifically the finding that more than 120,000 black and Latino Californians were sent to prison while she was in the State A.G.’s office.

NY AG Office Asks for Ethic Opinion after revealed ‘hired’ Bloomberg operatives

How does one “hire” someone if that “someone” is being paid for by someone else? How about “plant” someone inside an office? What is even worse, that plant is inside an Attorney General’s office? That person planting is none other than former Mayor Bloomberg and this is not the first office is has done this with. How many other AG offices are being used by outside groups to politicize their points of view and carry out their agenda?

New York regulators asked an ethics panel to investigate potential conflicts of interest claims after the attorney general’s office hired an attorney paid for by former mayor-turned-environmentalist billionaire Michael Bloomberg.

“We know NY OAG only sought an ethics opinion over 13 months after promising Bloomberg’s group there were no ethics issues, and 8 months after having already brought them on board,”

Michael Bloomberg

The request was sent the same day that a government watchdog group filed an open records request about the hiring of two Bloomberg-funded attorneys into the attorney general’s office. Bloomberg has turned his attention to environmental issues, gun control, and anti-tobacco regulations since leaving office.

The former New York City mayor’s most ambitious project has been funding the “State Energy and Environmental Impact Center” (SEEIC) at the New York University School of Law. The program trains and deploys attorneys to work in state attorney general offices around the country.

Its selling point is the fact that it would pay the salaries of all new hires at no cost to taxpayers.

Bloomberg battalion working out of AG’s office

Boston HeraldJun 4, 2019
Welcome to Massachusetts: the best justice system money can buy. And in Attorney General Maura Healey’s office, they mean that literally.

Right now, there are two lawyers working in Healy’s office as “Special Assistant Attorneys General,” with all the power that confers. But they’re not working for we, the people. Instead, their employer — the guy who writes their paychecks — is a private citizen. And his name is Michael Bloomberg.

They’re working cases in Boston, but they’re getting paid out of New York City.

What the what, you ask? It’s called the State Energy and Environmental Impact Center and since 2017, they’ve been putting private attorneys, paid for with private, green-activist dollars, inside Democrat-controlled state attorneys general offices around the country. Their stated goal is “advancing progressive clean energy, climate change, and environmental legal positions.”

Michael Bloomberg started the project with a $6 million check and — shocker! — these lawyers are using our public AG’s office to promote Bloomberg’s green political agenda. How is that legal, you ask? Welcome to Massachusetts.

Keep in mind Soros has been stacking D.A. races throughout the country.

George Soros long fingers in Chicago and DA races, State Secretaries of State

George Soros, the billionaire of progressive-slash-socialist and globalist causes the world over, has been busy buying his way into local district attorney campaigns in the United States. He has found he can get a lot of bang for his bucks in these races.

Then just plant attorneys of whatever persuasion to litigate your point of view against your adversaries. Not just civil litigation but now you can charge criminality.

A corrupt judicial system is/will be the final nail for our republic.

New Acting Attorney General Whitaker: ‘I would indict Hillary Clinton’

Yes, this should put a tingle in Hillary. There is a new sheriff in town. Big Bad John in the name of Matthew Whitaker who is taking over as Acting Attorney General for Jeff Sessions. Thanks Jeff for moving on. He is of the opinion that Hillary should be charged and penned such an op-ed several years ago.

WASHINGTON – Matthew Whitaker, who was named interim attorney general Wednesday after Jeff Sessions was fired, argued two years ago that Hillary Clinton should have been criminally charged.

In an opinion piece for USA TODAY, Whitaker disagreed with then-FBI Director James Comey that “no reasonable prosecutor” would indict Clinton for handling classified documents as secretary of State on a private email server.

“I believe myself to have been a reasonable prosecutor, and when the facts and evidence show a criminal violation has been committed, the individuals involved should not dictate whether the case is prosecuted,” wrote Whitaker, a former U.S. attorney.

He penned the piece while serving as executive director of the Foundation for Accountability and Civic Trust, a conservative watchdog group.

Read the op-ed piece:

Meanwhile Comey must be sweating bullets just hoping that the new Democrat controlled House will save his sorry butt. Eric is in panic mode as well.

Sessions dines with Rosenstein after fight with Trump

So Sessions isn’t going to roll over. By now you no doubt have heard about the back and forth between Sessions and Trump yesterday over Sessions remarks about leaving the Inspector General to look into the FISA abuse. With that, he dines of course with Rosenstein who signed off on at least one FISA application. (I hadn’t realized how short he is,) Here you go– more pics over at Zero Hedge

While it’s anyone’s guess what the trio discussed, the image of Sessions, dining with Rosenstein – who signed off on one or more “Steele dossier” FISA applications – is unmistakable: Sessions enjoys the culinary delights of the swamp.

From refusing to appoint a Special Counsel to investigate the suspected Awan family spy ring, to seemingly covering for the FBI’s mishandling of evidence in the Uranium One case – which Robert Mueller and Rod Rosenstein were directly involved in, to now relegating the FISA abuse investigation to the Office of the Inspector General (OIG) instead of appointing a second Special Counsel – many believe Sessions has been stonewalling for the establishment. AG Sessions says he will not prosecute Clinton or any deep state criminals

I can’t say that this news comes as any great surprise. It was getting abundantly clear that Sessions was now part of the swamp. Chaffetz in an interview with Judge Pirro confirms our worse fears, Sessions wanted this job oh so badly and claims it was a job of a lifetime. Yet no one has been more dangerous to Trump than this man. It was he, and he alone that caused this whole ridiculous investigation by recusing himself over a couple of trivial meetings with some Russians. A patriot would disband the whole lot of Mueller et al.

Jason Chaffetz, former House of Representatives member and Chairman of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform was on Justice with Judge Janine Pirro Saturday night and he again dropped a BOMBSHELL about Attorney General Jeff Sessions:

Judge Janine: …What can you do?

Chaffetz: Yeah, the State Department has been holding tens of thousands of documents on a case that they claim is closed.  And when I met with Attorney General Sessions much like Ron DeSantis did, I basically got a stiff arm.  I got an Attorney General that said he would not comply, he wasn’t going to do any sort of prosecutions and it’s such a huge difference.  When he was a Senator he would have never put up with that.

Judge Janine went on to ask if Sessions was afraid of them (i.e. deep state)?  She also asked if they all (Congress and Washington politicians) had so many skeletons?  The Judge then correctly stated that this is driving Americans crazy and the American people have had it!

When asked whether Jeff Sessions should be out, Chaffetz correctly responded, “Well I don’t know what the case is to keep him!”

AG Lynch ‘pleads Fifth’ on secret Iran payments

While we watch Hillary gaze into the abyss of server hell, our gal Loretta has herself in a boatload of troubles. It seems that the loot that found its way to Iran for who knows what purpose came under her purview. Taking a page from Hillary, pleading the Fifth and otherwise keeping one’s mouth shut is best. I chose this topic for the corruption story of the day:

ag-lynch

Attorney General Loretta Lynch is declining to comply with an investigation by leading members of Congress about the Obama administration’s secret efforts to send Iran $1.7 billion in cash earlier this year, prompting accusations that Lynch has “pleaded the Fifth” Amendment to avoid incriminating herself over these payments, according to lawmakers and communications exclusively obtained by the Washington Free Beacon.

Sen. Marco Rubio (R., Fla.) and Rep. Mike Pompeo (R., Kan.) initially presented Lynch in October with a series of questions about how the cash payment to Iran was approved and delivered.

In an Oct. 24 response, Assistant Attorney General Peter Kadzik responded on Lynch’s behalf, refusing to answer the questions and informing the lawmakers that they are barred from publicly disclosing any details about the cash payment, which was bound up in a ransom deal aimed at freeing several American hostages from Iran.

The response from the attorney general’s office is “unacceptable” and provides evidence that Lynch has chosen to “essentially plead the fifth and refuse to respond to inquiries regarding [her] role in providing cash to the world’s foremost state sponsor of terrorism,” Rubio and Pompeo wrote on Friday in a follow-up letter to Lynch, according to a copy obtained by the Free Beacon.

FBI US Attorney investigation underway of Clinton Foundation

Good news today. Just when it looked like the Comey and Lynch fiasco had parked any hope of Clinton justice on the tarmac we get news that FBI investigations are under way. This fellow Preet Bharara, U.S. Attorney General for New York is no slouch and has a ton of convictions notched on his belt. Here we go with the background:

In its 15 years of operations, the Clinton Foundation, formally known as the Bill, Hillary and Chelsea Clinton Foundation, has collected up to $2 billion from donors, according to The Washington Post. The donors include a wide range of the world’s wealthiest people: Eastern European tycoons, Arab Sheiks, African mining magnates, hedge fund billionaires and Wall Street firms.

The Post reported that the couple brought in $3 billion when campaign contributions are included in the total. “The Clintons’ fundraising operation — $3 billion amassed by one couple, working in tandem for more than four decades — has no equal,” the Post reported in a wide-ranging investigation into the sources of the couple’s funds.

In a related development Thursday, CNN reported that earlier this year, Justice Department officials in three different field offices “were in agreement a public corruption investigation should be launched” of Clinton Foundation activities.

Multiple FBI investigations are underway involving potential corruption charges against the Clinton Foundation, according to a former senior law enforcement official.

The investigation centers on New York City where the Clinton Foundation has its main offices, according to the former official who has direct knowledge of the activities.

Prosecutorial support will come from various U.S. Attorneys Offices — a major departure from other centralized FBI investigations.

The New York-based probe is being led by Preet Bharara, the U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York. Bharara’s prosecutorial aggressiveness has resulted in a large number of convictions of banks, hedge funds and Wall Street insiders.

FBI James Comey, the ultimate chameleon who sold his soul?

James Comey, the ultimate Universal man, a wolf in sheep’s clothes or a chameleon? He has been a Prosecutor, Lobbyist, Hedge Fund operator, Chairman of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. For some reason, Obama felt safe enough to appoint him head of the FBI. Now we know why. He can be bought and sold just like Ashcroft, Eric Holder and the rest of them. Comey fell on his sword for how many pieces of silver?

Let’s take a look. He has been everything but defending the little guy. From going after Martha Stewart cutting his chops as a public prosecutor, somehow played the game and got George Bush to appoint him Deputy Attorney General and landed under Ashcroft. How about his political bent?

He voted for Carter in 1980, but in ’84, Comey: “I voted for Reagan—I’d moved from Communist to whatever I am now. I’m not even sure how to characterize myself politically. Maybe at some point, I’ll have to figure it out.”

“I had no sense whether Jim was an R or a D,” says Eric Holder Jr., who worked closely with Comey when Holder was deputy attorney general to Janet Reno in the Clinton administration—and who remains a confirmed D.

Sounds like a man with a story. Where did he start? In law. He was a partner at firm McGuireWoods, where, among other things, he successfully defended a company against claims its machinery had caused asbestos-related injuries.

And from there? From there he moved into public prosecution and eventually came to the attention of President George W Bush, who appointed him deputy attorney general of the United States in 2003. But he left after two years in the role.

To do what? Sell tanks, bombs and jets to drop them from. He joined Lockheed Martin, one of the world’s largest defence contractors, as senior vice-president. (A Lobbyist)

In 2005, Comey left law enforcement for the defense industry, joining money-in-politics powerhouse Lockheed Martin. As senior vice president and general counsel he earned more than $6 million in compensation in his last full year with the company.

And then? Dipped his toe in the world of hedge funds at Bridgewater Associates before joining the board of HSBC Holdings.

The author of this piece makes a prescient observation regarding the Comey Ashcroft relationship:

On the surface, it’s an odd pairing: Comey—who cites liberal theologian Reinhold Niebuhr as a formative influence, and who can sing along with Good Charlotte pop-punk hits—and Ashcroft, a reactionary born-again Christian who breaks into spirited renditions of biblical hymns. There’s little risk Comey will lose his sense of humor in his new job. It’s only his soul that’s up for grabs.

Now we know why it was so odd.

Oh, by the way, where’s John Ashcroft today? Why he’s on the Board of Directors of Blackwater USA,which now goes by the harmless sounding name – Academi – conjuring up images of ivy-covered buildings and lounging intellectuals.

Comey and Ashcroft – Lockheed Martin and Blackwater: Defenders of our civil liberties?

Eric Holder? He is now a white-collar defense attorney at a firm that lobbies for major banks, pharmaceutical companies and defense contractors.

Hillary Clinton accepted the endorsement of former Attorney General Eric Holder, the man who oversaw a record decrease in white-collar prosecutions, and who inadvertently coined the phrase — “too big to jail” — which is often used to describe the Obama Justice Department’s approach to corporate crime.

AG Roberta Lynch, just another prey of the Clinton juggernaut

We have heard it before. Straight arrows become ensnared in the backwash of the Clinton’s corruption. The victims will be lucky enough if they live to survive. Is Attorney General Lynch the latest to fall prey? I include the clip of why it can be so deadly to have heard the Clinton name. While there are lots of people included in the clip that are a far far stretch, it is a refresher on how much travail has followed them. I give you this, not for the truth of the matter, but rather what happens when one’s life touches the Clintons. Setting tin foil aside, would you want to be a friend of the Clintons? Is it really so depressing that one would want to end one’s life? And people are worried about Trump and his stability?

NY Post:

Yet there’s another dimension to their chronic crookedness, and it gets insufficient attention even though it might be more important to the nation’s well-being.

“Wherever they go, whatever they do, ethics are trashed and suspicions of criminal conduct follow them like night follows day.”

It is that, in addition to being personally corrupt, the Clintons are corrupters. They are piggish users, with the people and institutions around them inevitably tarnished and sometimes destroyed even as the Clintons escape to their next scam.

….. and with Lynch?

The explosive result shows the Clintons haven’t lost their touch for leaving destruction and chaos in their wake. The remarkable events also serve as a clear reminder that while the Clintons enriched themselves over the years, they were helping to bankrupt the public trust in its government and institutions. And they won’t stop until they’re stopped.
