Obamacare navigators commiting fraud video

Just like there is no voter fraud. We already know that Acorn reconstituted got a chunk of the navigator money. What a surprise. Bill O’Reilly led off The Factor last night with video from Project Veritas showing Obamacare navigators committing fraud.  Undercover Veritas operatives captured the video in Texas.  Navigators with the National Urban League instruct the applicants in how to commit fraud. Anyone who watched the show last night got an earful from Juan Williams how unfair this clip was, After all, this doesn’t demonstrate anything does it Juan.

Acorn Replanted – Former Leader, Bertha Lewis Back In The Game

Here is the headline:

Dem NYC Mayoral Candidate Thanks Ex-ACORN Chief Bertha Lewis’ New Group For Helping Him Win Primary, Lewis Rants, “We’re Baacccck, The Right Wing Will Have To Deal With It”…

de Blasio, will turn New York City into a Marxist state. Good luck New York. He is otherwise known as, drum roll please :

The candidate’s official biography is that Bill de Blasio is his third legal  name.

The man who could become the city’s 109th mayor was born Warren Wilhelm Jr.  on May 8, 1961, in Manhattan, his birth certificate shows.

In 1983, fresh out of New York University, he petitioned a Manhattan judge  to formally change his name to Warren de Blasio-Wilhelm, according to legal  records.

And in December 2001 he petitioned a judge in Brooklyn to formally change  his name again, this time to Bill de Blasio.

Via NY Post:

ACORN’s former leader is back on top.

Bertha Lewis played critical behind-the-scenes roles in the victorious Democratic primary campaigns of both Bill de Blasio for mayor and Kenneth Thompson for Brooklyn district attorney, The Post has learned.

“We’re baacccck. The right wing will have to deal with it,” Lewis chuckled.

Lewis, a co-founder of the Working Families Party, was an early backer and adviser to de Blasio.

ACORN’s successor group, New York Communities for Change, endorsed de Blasio for mayor in early spring, and a Lewis protegé, NYCC field director Harold Miller, helped run de Blasio’s field operation.

So it was no surprise that Lewis stood behind de Blasio during his primary night victory speech last Tuesday.

Or that de Blasio tweeted, “Thanks to nychange members for coming out tonight!”

Lewis said she played an even larger role for Ken Thompson, who toppled longtime Brooklyn DA Charles “Joe” Hynes.

I picked up this video below from a Fox interview this morning. Bertha Lewis and her hateful rhetoric that is embraced by the next NYC Mayor. Kiss the city good-bye. The interview gives us a glimpse into the so-called “regionalism” that will be embraced. You know the drill. The suburbs kick into the city. We who live in the suburbs are kicked back into the cities to live. Good Luck NYC.

Labor Dept.on payments to labor unions worldwide

Senate Republicans say the Labor Department appears to be spending millions  in taxpayer dollars to establish labor unions and promote collective bargaining  in foreign countries and are asking top Obama administration officials for a  full audit.

The purported activities were conducted by the agency’s Bureau of  International Labor Affairs.

The bureau for the past several years has purportedly made numerous awards —  worth millions of dollars — to the United Nations, the Solidarity Center and  other similar groups, “whose stated objective is to help establish labor unions  in foreign countries,” the senators said.

The bureau’s stated mission is to “help ensure that workers around the world are  treated fairly and are able to share in the benefits of the global  economy.”

When I caught this story, an old post of mine came to mind. In the heat of the Acorn scandals which was a headliner for months, I recalled that Wade Rathke, founder of ACORN had moved on to India of all places. Acorn Alive and Well- Moving World-Wide

…[Wade] Rathke, who left the US ACORN group in 2008, focuses now on a separate organization he founded named ACORN International. The group has members in nine countries, including India, and focuses on the billion or so people who live in mega-slums.

So now we know where ACORN is getting its funding. From us. Recall Wade Rathke?

  • Founder and former Chief Organizer of ACORN, a nationwide activist network engaged in “community organizing” and in voter mobilization drives for George Soros’ Shadow Party
  • Former draft-resistance activist for the Students for a Democratic Society (SDS)
  • Former activist in the National Welfare Rights Organization (NWRO) and protegé of its founder George A. Wiley
  • Co-founder of the Tides Foundation, along with Drummond Pike. Currently serves as Board Chairman of the Tides Center and member of the Tides Foundation Board of Directors
  • Founded Local 100 of the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) in New Orleans and heads it to this day. Rathke is president and co-founder of SEIU’s Southern Conference and a member of SEIU’s national executive board. He also helped launch the United Labor Union (ULU), which organizes low-skill service workers.
  • Rathke chairs the AFL-CIO’s Organizers Forum and formerly served as Secretary-Treasurer of the Greater New Orleans AFL-CIO.

“At a time when our federal budget is deteriorating rapidly … it is troubling  to us that the department appears to be spending millions of dollars of taxpayer  funds to establish labor unions and promote collective bargaining in foreign  countries,” they said in a letter to acting Labor Secretary Seth Harris

Obama’s ShoreBank manager lose $5 Million in Green car venture

This is a story that is definitely in the weeds. But when I picked up a story with the headline “ShoreBank” it brought back oh so many memories of numerous posts. It was a slush bank for Acorn, and all of the worst of  the cronies of Obama. The cast of characters include the Clinton’s, Jarrett, Van Jones, Jan Schakowsky and felon hubby and on and on.

…but because of the Clintons, the Obamas, the Moseley Brauns of the world, and ShoreBank’s sentimental value because it supported their community organizing efforts, it should be saved. No word yet from convicted felon Robert Creamer on this one, or his wife Jan Schakowsky. That is right. Jan’s hubby is in the clinker.

…evidence that may explain the intense interest of Rep. Jan Schakowsky (D-IL) in bailing out ShoreBank, the “community development” bank that has received extraordinary assistance from her and several other “friends in high places.”

None of them were saying that about the bank in Wisconsin that kept family-owned farms afloat. Wonder how those banks’ investors feel about the Obama Administration’s lack of interest in them.” From:American Spectator

The New York Times confirms that Rep. Schakowsky played a leading role in the ShoreBank bailout. Yet ShoreBank is not based in Rep. Schakowsky’s congressional district, and she did not help the Bank of Lincolnwood–which is in her district, and failed in 2009–or Park National Bank, which was also active in community development in Chicago until it was closed by federal regulators last year.

Now, court documents that have been obtained reveal that ShoreBank was one of several banksthat Rep. Schakowsky’s husband, Robert Creamer, used in the check kiting scheme for which he was convicted and sentenced to federal prison in 2006.

When another bank, Cole Taylor Bank, refused to continue honoring his checks, Creamer turned to ShoreBank for help. ShoreBank evidently provided him with extra time to find over $1.4 million to cover the overdrafts.

But I digressed. Here is the story:

Crain’s) — The state agency managing the College Illinois prepaid tuition program expects to lose more than half its $10 million investment in luxury hybrid-car startup Fisker Automotive.

ShoreBank Crony Manages to Lose $5 Million for ISAC in Green Car Venture

The Illinois Student Assistance Commission, which runs the $1.1 billion fund backing the college savings plan used by more than 30,000 Illinois families, disclosed the bad news at its Sept. 14 meeting, spokesman John Samuels said.

ISAC, which embarked on an unconventional and controversial investment strategy featuring private-equity and hedge funds under previous Executive Director Andrew Davis, famously lost nearly $13 million it invested in Chicago-based urban lender ShoreBank when that bank failed in August 2010. A few months after the ShoreBank failure, ISAC plowed $10 million into a private-equity venture backing Fisker, a federally subsidized startup firm making the luxury hybrid Karma, which since has endured numerous mechanical problems.

Earlier psot: Jarrett, Acorn, Van Jones and their Shorebank involvement back in the news

This story brought back a memory of a post of May 10 2010. At the time, I was hot on the trail of Obama’s Kenyan connections and his Muslim cousin Odinga running for President. So here is a taste.

In 2006, before his Presidential race, then-Sen. Barack Obama visited his father’s homeland of Kenya, and around the same times ShoreBank donated $1 million to that country to assist in micro-loan programs there. At the time, Obama officials said it was a coincidence that ShoreBank made the contribution to Kenya. Why I am just laughing myself silly!

…discussions to bail out the bank, which has close ties to both senior members of the Obama Administration, as well as the Clinton family, went deep into the weekend as Chicago politicians scrambled to save the bank.

Focus on the White House’s role is due in large part to the ties senior staffers there have to the investors and management of the bank, which started out as a community bank, and lately has been deeply involved in “micro-financing” and “green” loans.

Senior White House aide Valerie Jarrett appears to be the central figure in the Financial Services’ interest, according to Republican staffers with ties to the committee.

A Tri-fecta of intrigue just coming our way! No word yet from convicted felon Robert Creamer on this one, or his wife Jan Schakowsky.

Prepaid tuition program failed in ShoreBank review, auditor general reports.

The state agency running the College Illinois prepaid tuition program, which lost all of a $12.7-million investment in Chicago community bank ShoreBank, failed to follow the state’s competitive procurement requirements in hiring a firm to vet the investment beforehand, the Illinois Auditor General concluded in a report Thursday

The auditor general also criticized the agency for considering only ShoreBank after changing its investment parameters to consider direct investments in private companies.

The report also chided the commission for hiring a firm with no expertise in advising on equity investments and for not having a contract in place before the work started. Full story here at Chicago Business

Acorn alive, fake voter registration rampant

Acorn is alive and well. I give credit to CNN for doing this piece. $800,000 was given to Acorn by Obama, acording to the clip and the best part, they are behind the litigation in many States over I.D. requirements. Anyone still wondering what this regime is all about? Here we go.

Even though it was supposedly stripped of federal funding in 2009, a non-partisan government corruption watchdog says the disgraced organization known as ACORN is alive and well and still thriving on government dollars.

“So ACORN has not gone away. What it has done is it’s had its tentacles rebrand themselves and rename themselves in order to get federal money and go around the ban that Congress passed and the president signed,” Epstein explains.

One of those branches, Project Vote, is now working with the Obama Justice Department to sue various states under the National Voter Registration Act.

“Project Vote forced them to accept many fraudulent voter registration forms,” the Cause of Action executive director reports. “And that part of the problem was that the states became so overwhelmed, they couldn’t actually conduct good oversight to ensure election integrity.”
Epstein does not think the Justice Department will either investigate ACORN and its affiliates, or prevent voter fraud, but he hopes Congress will conduct thorough oversight on the matter. Lots of luck with that one.

Obama defies the law gives $80,000 to Acorn

Our lawless President. Defies the rule of law and is no less than a Dictator now. What more is there to say. Drip, drip goes our dear country down the drain. I thought we were done with the nonsense of Acorn and his Marxist friends over there.

A $79,819 federal grant to ACHOA to “To educate the public and housing providers about their rights and obligations under federal, state, and local fair housing laws.”

Full story at Judicial Watch:

Judicial Watch, the public interest group that investigates and prosecutes government corruption, announced today that that the Obama Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has issued a $79,819 grant to the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN)-offshoot Affordable Housing Centers of America (AHCOA) in apparent violation of an ACORN funding ban passed by Congress and signed into law by President Obama in 2009. Moreover, this grant was provided to the organization less than a year after ACORN/ACHOA was criticized by HUD’s inspector general in two separate investigations for misappropriating funds from federal grants.

On October 1, 2009, President Obama signed into law legislation known as the Defund ACORN Act that effectively prohibited the federal government from funding “ACORN and any ACORN-related affiliate.” Following a lawsuit filed by ACORN challenging the law, which passed both branches of Congress by wide margins, the federal courts in New York upheld the constitutionality of the funding ban on August 13, 2010. The Supreme Court last month refused to hear ACORN’s appeal of this funding ban.

But a Judicial Watch investigation revealed that, on March 1, 2011, HUD announced a $79,819 federal grant to ACHOA to “educate the public and housing providers about their rights and obligations under federal, state, and local fair housing laws.” More here at Judicial Watch

Obama, Jarrett, Acorn, Van Jones and their ShoreBank involvement back in the news

This is a story that no doubt could be of little interest to most. I  picked up this story over at News Alert. It brought back a memory of a post of May 10 2010. At the time, I was hot on the trail of Obama’s Kenyan connections and his Muslim cousin Odinga running for President. I am digressing, hey, I am trying to justify this story and have you hang! So here is a taste.

Acorn Alive and Well in India– Rathke’s Moving World-Wide

Any guesses as to who is funding this effort? Let’s jazz up the world, as if there is not enough unrest and anti-American sentiment. They never falter. On a semi-related topic, I see that Anita Dunn has resurfaced on “Meet the Press”….My thoughts on who is pulling the strings now? Maoist loving Anita Dunn, corrupt Valerie Jarrett who is Obama’s minder. Now add Rathke– all in this together,

November hasn’t been a great month for our beloved President. ACORN, which POTUS probably assumed was dead and buried, has a division in India.

The ACORN Foundation India works to organize the slum’s trash collectors and sorters known as “ragpickers.” The group was set up separately by the founder of the ACORN community organization that Obama once worked with in America… ACORN India issues the ragpickers identification cards that help cut down harassment by police and neighborhood watch groups.

…[ACORN’s] Shetty says roughly 40 percent of all Mumbai’s waste gets recycled, meaning ragpickers are part of the “green-collar” workforce that politicians and industrialists tout as a “win-win” between environmental and business concerns. ACORN India is resisting efforts to commercialize the sector unless the ragpickers are the ones chosen for the formalized jobs.

…[Wade] Rathke, who left the US ACORN group in 2008, focuses now on a separate organization he founded named ACORN International. The group has members in nine countries, including India, and focuses on the billion or so people who live in mega-slums.

Activists tied to ACORN International will protest outside Obama’s speech to Parliament Monday to pressure Indian lawmakers not to allow foreign companies like Wal-Mart into retail…
Got that? Those “green collar” jobs the Democrats are always touting?

Apparently they involve sitting on top of landfills and sorting plastic for 67 cents an hour.

Acorn Spin-off Corrupt says Inspector General

It seems with all the news out there, it’s hard to keep up with the shenanigans of Acorn. And it’s a tired and worn story. Isn’t that the way they want it? Overload the circuits. Let us not forget the voter fraud they had their nasty fingers into that helped bring us this corrupt administration. The only thing to look forward to is the hearings the Republicans will get a chance to hold, once they take back at least one side of the aisle. Both sides? Now that would be sweet revenge. Big Government is not letting it rest:

According to Fox News:

An official report released [last] week says an ACORN offshoot group cannot properly account for how it has spent millions of federal dollars and recommends that the group repay the government and be put on standby mode until it cleans up its act.

The report from the inspector general for the Department of Housing and Urban Development reviewed how ACORN Housing Corporation — now called Affordable Housing Centers of America (AHCOA) — has spent federal grant money over the past two decades. The report described the group’s book-keeping as “problematic and unsupported,” and claimed that more than $65,000 in “ineligible” salary expenses were charged to a federal grant last year, including costs for six employees after they were terminated.

(You can read the inspector general’s report in its entirety here.)

Overall, 80% of taxpayer funds distributed to ACORN in 2008 and 2009 were used to pay salaries — even for employees who no longer worked for the organization! That’s right, in a response letter to the inspector general’s office, a representative of the new ACORN spin-off said the organization “does not dispute” the fact that it “erroneously charged” the federal government (read: taxpayers) for employees who had been terminated.

I have Obama’s Secret Donor List

Anita Moncreif on Sean Hannity Radio Show

From the Right Scoop

Anita Moncrief talks about how Obama and Acorn rigged elections all over the country. She even says she has the Obama campaign’s donor list that was for Acorn’s eyes only. Not that this is any surprise, but we have to be awake and on the job this November.
