Every voter in Nassau County, NY listed as ‘Democrat’ after printing ‘error’

One has to ask why is it that all the so called “mistakes” made in the election process always favors the Democrats? Before you get sidetracked that this is no big deal here is the important take away. The upcoming election is less than a month away. I’ll throw in an update on the Kari Lake Arizona election trial finishing up for the old times sake.

Since New York is a closed primary state, voters registered as belonging to a party are not allowed to vote for any other party. As such, if a GOP supporter is identified as Democrat in the voter registration system, the individual would be barred from casting votes for the Republican primary.

Take it away Zero Hedge:

All voters of Nassau County, New York, were identified as Democrats on their voter ID cards irrespective of political affiliation due to a botch-up by a printing company, triggering accusations about “sabotaging elections” ahead of the upcoming primaries.

The primaries are scheduled for June. Voters of the county, amounting to nearly a million, began to receive their voter ID cards on Tuesday, with voters supporting Republicans, Independents, or another political party surprised to see themselves identified as Democrats in the cards, according to NBC. “We’re already starting to get phone calls from people, saying ‘I’m a registered Republican, I’m a registered Conservative—how come I’m being identified as a Democrat? Who changed my registration?’ And they’re quite upset about it,” said Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman.

The printing company called it an “isolated event” that was the result of a human error. “We apologize for our mistake, especially to Nassau County officials, who bear no responsibility for this problem.”

However, this is not the first time that Phoenix Graphics has committed such a mistake. In 2020, Phoenix messed up absentee ballots for 99,000 voters in Brooklyn. The printing firm had erroneously sent mailings to voters containing return envelopes having the names and addresses of other people.

….

However, some voters are now questioning the election process due to the typo error. “I have no faith in this country today, as far as what the politics are,” said George Klein, a voter from Nassau. “I’m going to vote Republican primary day, and Democrat on that is not going to affect it,” he said referring to the erroneous ID card he received.

During the 2022 midterms, only 56 percent of Republicans thought the elections will be administered “very” or “somewhat” well, according to Pew Research.

By the way, not that anyone cares, the Kari Lake Arizona election fraud trial has been going on. Gateway pundit has been doing a yeoman’s job of covering it. But it’s so yesterday no one is interested.

Back in the day I did a spin on the topic. Over 80 percent of Maricopa ballots were mail in ballots. So if you are not going to check signatures? Wow

Now every vote will be recorded as a Democrat. But no voting error here! They won that contract through a bid 10 years ago. Reminds me of what a former soldier said: “my company commander to us to remember our weapons were made by the lowest bidder.”

Just the first step… see its been that way for years… No voter ID…now no signature as well for mail in ballot, and lets not take the ballots to election headquarters and give it to someone else to count.

I was thinking it would have to be at least twelve parts for a full understanding of Harris County politics.

I would leave that to Mark… I have enough here in my little piece of heaven in Amish land overflowing with the so called “migrants.”
The Mayor of NY says ship them to other cities… the real truth is they are dumping them in small town USA…

Lancaster’s Latino or Hispanic population represents 23,341 out of the 58,039 current residents in the city, according to the 2020 Census. Lancaster has almost 11,000 more Latinos or Hispanics than Harrisburg.

I suspect that we only hear about these kinds of violations from areas of the country that are predominantly blue because those are the areas where the fomenters of such operations expect the least sense of outrage by involved citizens. This in turn goes back to the Soros strategy of selecting far-left candidates for public office. Blue states are the least offended by Progressive filth.

I have two thoughts about Lake. Before I get to that, there is an Arizona Blogger you may enjoy. He’s a retired DJ from the Midwest, so he has an interesting insight into “news presentations.” His URL is https://thelonecactus317896151.wordpress.com/.

So Ms. Lake is running for office in AZ. She knows (or should know) that AZ is a very corrupt state (every bit as bad IMO as NM). She has an organization. Does the organization rally volunteers to help watch the polls, or does she just “go with it?” It sounds to me as if old Ben Franklin was right: an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

I do understand the importance of this issue, but I have no confidence in the judicial system to render “just” decisions. The integrity of the legal process is only as good as the integrity of those who participate in it. We shall see. But no matter how it turns out, it won’t affect me over here in the panhandle. If no one seems upset, it is likely for two reasons: Lake is a twit, and people outside of AZ have no stake in the outcome of the trial.

I am applauding your effort to keep us all in the loop and perhaps make us more aware of the slippery slimy stuff going on when no one is looking. Bravo you!

I have read in a comment elsewhere, and if true, that the judge has disqualified the “expert witness” for Lake. He appears bored to me, so I think we all know where this is headed.
As i said in a previous post. …Maricopa County is the only jurisdiction in the country that picks up completed ballots at USPS Processing Distribution Center, but doesn’t bring them back to the election department or tabulation center. That is where this nasty tale begins.

As far a New York, at the most it was to angst the GOP and to raise more doubt about the fairness of the election process. Thus the best thing is at the least National oversight. Maybe the U.N. There have been noises from some Dems for it.

You’re right and I hate living about a mile within the county borders of a blueberry in a red state.

Well, Mark, I have to say that I think the Texans living in Harris County must be the nicest people on earth, having paid out millions and millions to relocate the denizens of New Orleans at no expense to themselves. Well done you guys. Suckers. Not that Harris County has ever been a bastion of conservatism, just saying…

        Mustang,
Fifteen years ago, when I moved to my current location, the 70% conservative vote got 70% conservative representation. Now, we are gerrymandered down to one voice out of eight in the county commissioners court. When I moved to this area 15 years ago, conservative North Harris County got as many services as the rest of Harris County and similar services to conservative Montgomery County. No more.

When I moved to this area 15 years ago, most Democrats had some semblance of sanity.
