Friday News Humor- ‘That Was The Week That Was’

How about this week’s news with a bit of satire? Anyone else recall the American version of the program with this title? Here is Bunks version this week.

That Was the Week That Was, informally TWTWTW or TW3, was a satirical television comedy program on BBC Television in 1962 and 1963. The program is considered a significant element of the satire boom in the UK in the early 1960s, as it broke ground in comedy by lampooning political figures. An Americanized version of the famous hit British TV show, retaining David Frost from the British cast from 1985.

The Pope said the war in Ukraine repeats the Holocaust? Really? This is the guy who couldn’t denounce a terrorist who slit the throat of one of his priests in church. What planet is he on?
