Bioluminescence in the deep sea: How and why do animals create their own light?

A dive into the deep sea reveals twinkling lights in the midst of darkness. This light doesn’t come from the sun—sunlight can’t penetrate to these depths—it comes from the animals that live here. Scientists call this living light show bioluminescence—when living organisms create their own light using a chemical reaction.

    What an interesting group of historical ones. I kept watching that safe over and over. Made for people with good memories. 🙂 Animals – always fun. I loved that those people were home when the fawn fell in their pool. And the Great Designer in the depths of the sea.

      Amazing that through all these years the code remained in memory some way..written down perhaps but what a complicated piece of work..Yes, the Great Designer becomes apparent with my concluding piece at the end of these posts.. How can one explain otherwise.
