Soldiers could request transfers over State Laws they Felt Discriminatory in draft policy

The US Army is circulating a draft policy that would allow soldiers to move bases if they feel state or local laws discriminate against them on the basis of race, religion, sex, or gender, according to Military.com, citing two sources with direct knowledge of the plans.

Apparently the “woke” military is less concerned about bullets whizzing by the soldier and more about having their feelings hurt. It would seem the army would want to first consider the best location to place the individual for its “readiness” than for their comfort level. They say they want to “Shield service members?” What happens in foreign countries? So LGBT and Trannies no longer will need to serve in the Middle East? Just request a transfer? Where does this end? The word “cater” comes to mind.

The policy would ostensibly sanction soldiers to declare that certain states are too racist, too homophobic, too sexist or otherwise discriminatory to be able to live there safely and comfortably.

“Some states are becoming untenable to live in; there’s a rise in hate crimes and rise in LGBT discrmination,” Lindsay Church, executive director of Minority Veterans of America, an advocacy group, told Military.com. “In order to serve this country, people need to be able to do their job and know their families are safe. All of these states get billions for bases but barely tolerate a lot of the service members.”

The Army’s consideration of a policy to protect soldiers from discriminatory laws is part of a wider Defense Department campaign to start shielding service members from increasingly divisive laws and rhetoric from state-level lawmakers.

    Here’s a clue — From a medical site:
    We often get calls from families from different locations looking for an explanation for what they are finding in the hair. “We are African American – so we cannot get head lice, right? What is this bug I found on my child’s head?” It is a common belief that, because of the coarseness of the hair, African Americans cannot get a case of head lice. This, however, is a myth. The truth of the matter is, despite the texture of their hair, African American people can and do, get head lice. In fact, often some of the most severe infestations we see are in individuals with African American hair.

    The reason for military hair and grooming regulations is “health and safety” and ultimately, “combat effectiveness of personnel.” People who are infested with lice are not optimally prepared for combat … which is, uh, the reason for having a military. Wanna look chic … don’t join the US military.

    Funny. So how many of us have become potential state level felons when ordered in to progressive utopias like California. When ordered by the Commandant to California I took the tools of my trade, AR and M-1a rifles so I could continue shooting competitively. That was, as an infantryman my job. But California saw fit to outlaw features of my rifles thus making me a felon. I wonder how the progressive mind would wrap itself around that one? Not well, I think. Semper Fi, Mac

    I think this is a wonderful idea, actually. There is absolutely no reason for a soldier to have to endure hurt feelings. None. So if a state law prohibiting the use of women’s toilet facilities by men dressed as women offends one of our cutting edge new warriors, that soldier should be allowed to transfer to California or New York where such proscriptions never – ever happen. The Army should also allow transfers to escape crabby, grouchy, or snarly sergeants, and if anyone is trying to harm the sensitive soldier, such as someone from Russia, China, North Korea, Al Qaeda, or ISIS, who is shooting at them, soldiers should be allowed to say “screw this” and go home. I also think that any soldier experiencing mildew or mold in their lipstick, eyeliner, or makeup should be transferred and then reimbursed for the loss of that high-dollar material.

    Well, it has been a long time since the winter at Valley Forge, and the Army has a lot of stuff on its mind. Oh, Mark Milley … you’re an effing disgrace to your country and your uniform. Your children must be too embarrassed to leave the house and I don’t blame them.
