Saturday Passel of Potpouri

Politics, animals, kids. Let’s see what mischief our fellow earthlings and travelers have gotten themselves into this week.   It’s Saturday and time for a break and maybe a smile or two. Odds and ends for a May Passel.

Plus the Biden one is so perfect for the clueless, barely stage 1 thinking of most Dems. “Don’t we want higher wages?” Never could figure why they dink around with $13/hr, $15/hr, $17/hr. Why not $117/hr, or $1,000/hr and get some real money! I should be careful what I put in writing. The little tyke in “how’s your day” is exactly how mine is for the last 6+ years.

Some of these sure exemplified our lives! Harris never disappoints… there were always be a “deep thought from here. Yea, his remarks were the ultimate mental status test. No reality or awareness of what folks are going through.

The LOG! I’ve seen the Log, or maybe it was Log 1. Fascinating. As is the rail tie machine. Man! But the “rural America” takes the cake. Had a long discussion in the farmer’s market today with a former vendor’s helper who moved back to Illinois. Southern Illinois. Not Egypt, but even more south. Small town. His sentiments matched that cartoon.

Reminds me when Route 80 broke through our very rural community and brought the day crimers out of NYC our way for the short haul looting. Locals ended the joy of those day trips..

Yikes! That’s an ounce of birdshot. When the LA Metro built a train line out to my neighborhood my house (1/4 block from train) was in a “green” rated (lowest crime) zone. Six months after the “Crime Train” opened we are “red” rated – highest crime. Unfortunately, our city’s ‘solution’ was to lie and say it wasn’t true and call people racists for complaining about the surge in crimes. Your brother’s solution sounds just right for an in-city load. Too bad.

The Drs hate picking out all of that birdshot in their backend!! The local cops smiled. 🙂
