Manchin Attacks Interior Sec Haaland in Energy Hearing: ‘It shuts Everything Down!

Deb Haaland, Secretary of the Interior has been flying below the radar. She has been a very busy Indian Chief dispensing heap big wampum for her fellow Indian tribes. Better yet, she was planted in her position to restrict any further energy development, period. We would know nothing about her except for a hearing yesterday.

The low point comes when Manchin shows Haaland a memo which claims what she said at the hearing when she hasn’t even spoken and essentially bans drilling and yet she claims knows nothing about nor has seen it. Why? Because the law demands leases by June 30. More from Manchin later.

Deb Haaland, U.S. Secretary of the Interior

Secretary of the Interior Deb Haaland

Let’s say we just focus on the energy component of her position. You will find in the clips that follow that she is a one trick pony and knows nothing about energy except for the notes that were passed to her minute by minute as she struggled with the questions that were asked. Her real interest is reparations for her fellow tribesmen.

The real star of the show was Senator Cassidy who gave a clinic on how Biden is shafting the energy producers. A stellar informational presentation on just how the government energy game works. Not to be missed.

First a bit of a blurb in case your wondering:

Haaland, a member of the Laguna Pueblo tribe, is the first Native American cabinet secretary in US history. As interior secretary, Haaland is charged with overseeing the department that manages the country’s national parks, wildlife refuges and natural resources like gas, oil and water. The interior department also works to uphold the US government’s treaty obligations with Native American tribes, of which there are 574 sovereign tribal nations in the US. Source

And how did she get confirmed who has zero experience in the field? Thank you GOP.

On March 15, 2021, she was approved by the Senate with 51–40, with four Republicans (Collins, Murkowski, Sullivan, and Graham) voting yes. in addition, she is the country’s first Native American Cabinet secretary. Yes, our man Graham who always disappoints but Fox loves him anyway.

She happens to be a rather prolific tweeter. Here are some recent samples. You might note her tweet regarding legacy pollution? Oil and gas? 1.6 Billion she mentions? She wants to pour concrete down every single one of the wells thats not open today so that they they will never be able to be opened again. Ever.

Let’s set the mood. From her fellow conspirator.

Staff Furiously Scripts Notes For Biden Interior Sec. Haaland While She Filibusters During Hearing

Staff furiously scripted notes for President Joe Biden’s Interior Secretary Deb Haaland while she was filibustering during her hearing, during a Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources hearing on the 2023 budget request of the Interior Department on 5/19/2022.

Biden Interior Sec Can’t Say If It’s Better To Produce Oil In US Than Venezuela: “Not An Economist”

The coup de grace

Interior Sec. Haaland Confronted On Anti-Energy Memo Released During Hearing: “This Shuts It Down” Manchin rocks-

Keep in mind:

Biden admin cancels massive oil and gas lease sale

Reasons cited?

“lack of industry interest in leasing in the area” for the decision to “not move forward” with the Cook Inlet lease sale. The department also halted two leases under consideration for the Gulf of Mexico region because of “conflicting court rulings that impacted work on these proposed lease sales.”

How about the coming shortage of diesel fuel? Will that satisfy this White House?

Now, due to increased demand and a drop in production, a diesel shortage may be next as the largest diesel distribution hub in the U.S. is sitting on supplies at a 30-year low. Record gap between gasoline and diesel, but the gap will start to shrink very soon- not by leaps and bounds, but slowly

Federal law requires DOI to stick to a five-year leasing plan for auctioning offshore leases. The department had until the end fo the current five-year plan – due to expire on June 30 – to complete the sales.

Within his first week in office, President Biden signed an executive order temporarily suspending new oil and gas leases on federal lands. The administration resumed the new leasing last month following court challenges against the ban. The administration is appealing a ruling in which Judge James Cain, a Trump appointee, struck down the ban.

The very best of the swamp today.

Tracy Stone-Manning is the director of the Bureau of Land Management, which has authority over oil and gas leases on federal lands, even though she had connections to eco-terrorist group, Earth First. According to many media reports, Stone-Manning was a graduate student in 1989, when she mailed a letter to the U.S Forest Service, warning them that someone had spiked trees to prevent logging in Idaho’s Clearwater National Forest. In 1993, she was granted immunity and testified against two men she knew, who were eventually convicted of the crime.

Mustang + 1!! They bring these people on board to execute their agenda. All do. In the 70’s governor Jerry Brown had a transportation secretary whose job was to shut down all the interstate projects on the books. These included extensions where the right of ways had been bought and all the work was ready to go. At a time California was exploding by leaps and bounds she sat on everything and shut it all down. Even those that did not displace any residences, roads that had become dangerous by their high traffic volume and cross traffic. The AGENDA was prime.

Just a political hack without any principles.. I was surprised by the quality of the GOP Senators… we rarely get to see many since the Dems control everything. The first Cassidy clip was terrific.. so China will end up selling our gas since Biden will make sure there is no funding…..

No matter which party we’re talking about, filling cabinet posts entails placing the cart before the horse. Newly elected presidents aren’t looking for people who are qualified to serve in a cabinet post — and then relying on them to propose policies that serve the interests of the nation and its people. No. They’re looking for people who will give the president what he wants, and to hell with national implications. Haaland is a good example of this. Beyond having lived on an Indian reservation, she has NO bona fides to serve as interior secretary. None.

In fact, where Haaland is concerned (schooled as a lawyer and such a poor student of law that she has never passed the bar exam in her own state), she is probably the LEAST qualified person to serve in any cabinet post. She could no more develop an energy policy than I could conduct successful neurosurgery.

I wish we could get to the point where no one in America will vote for a presidential candidate unless or until they first know who in the hell he intends to appoint to cabinet or other posts. I know that’s not likely to happen, but damn … do we not understand that the consequences of presidential elections include who they plague us with at the cabinet-level?

There is even a worse one on board this particular train:

Chief Talking Bull, our Interior Secretary, supported the Stone-Manning nomination for Director Bureau of Land Management.
Tracy Stone-Manning to be director of the Bureau of Land Management, which has authority over oil and gas leases on federal lands, even though she had connections to eco-terrorist group, Earth First.

Tree spiking involves driving a nail or metal rod into a tree. When a logger saws into the tree and hits the spike, it can break the chain saw and send pieces of metal flying. Used by environmentalists to discourage timber harvesting in certain areas, this tactic was made illegal in 1988.

The U.S. Senate on October 1, 2021 confirmed Montana’s Tracy Stone-Manning as the next Director of the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) after a sustained push by U.S. Senator Jon Tester on behalf of her nomination. (Unbelievable that Joe Manchin voted yes to confirm and yes out of the committee as well.)

Bet it was Stone-Manning who put out the memo that Manchin got prior to the meeting. Since she is in charge of leases… hung her boss out to dry.

C’mon, man! Biden has been signaling from day one that he would completely shut down fossil fuels. Never mind the cost to the common man — most of them are deplorables and Ultra MAGA.

Anyway, if anyone can afford gasoline come November, then they will vote against Biden. He cannot afford that. So he will give out gas cards to his lackies so that they can repeat the 2000 Mules performance.

The trial run is here in Pennsylvania where tens of thousands of ballots are laying around and no complaint by anyone. The election “workers” have not met in Lancaster County since Tuesday. Shut it down at 6pm and it stopped processing anything. There are rumors that there are over 100k votes outstanding with a thumb drive missing. You can’t make it up. They are meeting today I hear.

In Harris County, Texas, the appointed (and soon to resign due to her screw-up performance in March where she missed 10,000 ballots just for starters) is already saying there will be delays. She is blaming having to follow the law (rather than use her own specially-appointed ballot handlers).

She mentions Legacy Pollution. Legacy pollution, does she mean the empty beer cans, liquor bottles and crack pipes carpeting the trailer park grounds where her impoverished Indian people’s subsistence consists of government assistance while the casinos make a handful or he peeps millionaires? How different is this from the democrat run government engendered big city ghettos? No difference since surely Indian youts probably listen to the same rap music while popping pills and smoking crack like their astral twins in the hoods.

Fighting the high cost of driving might the plan be for voters to cast their ballots on line? There will be no need for 2000 mules or 5000 mules since they can stuff the electronic ballot boxes from the comfort of their homes. Who is going to stop them, the same people who can’t arrest Hunter with his crimes staring the country in the face?

This is what happens when people worship the creation instead of the Creator. There is no climate crisis. The only crisis we have is the blackness that dwells in the heart of people like these. They are traitors and should be treated as such with long rows of gallows.
Thankfully, all across the Nation, many are voting Republican. These peoples days of power are numbered. And may the days be short.
And may the Lord Jesus please return soon. We sure have made a muddle of His garden.

Yes!! As George Carlin said in his famous piece on ‘saving the planet’ “the planet is fine. It’s the PEOPLE who are f***ed!” We were given charge as stewards. We have responsibilities. We aren’t meeting them. And this business will take us further off the path. Those resources were put here for our responsible use. I can hardly imagine what Jesus will say about this, but he will have the final say.
