FDA and the Botched Baby Formula Scandal

We learn now that the FDA knew that when they closed the plant that was making the most popular brand of baby formula there was going to be a shortage. That there was a whistle blower for months before that sounded the alarm. That plans must be in place in case of supply disruptions. Something like the strategic oil reserve?

Best, the so called migrants at the border are getting pallets of formula shipped in. Location location location as they say. So Moms, just head down Mexico way.

Prof. Peter Pitts, President and co-founder of the Center for Medicine in the Public Interest and former FDA Associate Commissioner, discusses the baby formula shortage on Fox and Friends, yesterday.

Here we go with a couple to complete the story:

Whistleblower Told FDA About Baby Formula Plant Months Before Recall

Baby formula recalled: Did FDA bungle recall?

All is very well in the swamp.

The slow walk is concerning. Especially while other products producing more death and disablement are rushed to market as “safe and effective.” What do these 2 actions have in common? Probably a LOT of money crossing the table in some fashion.

And why oh why are illegals trying to cross our border being given what is in such short supply here? As I wrote elsewhere, at least women have breasts. Ok. Some moms can’t nurse. So make your own: https://www.westonaprice.org/health-topics/childrens-health/formula-homemade-baby-formula/ and have a happy healthy Westin Price baby.

I saw a headline “Lawmakers rush to address shortage of baby formula.” This one is fixable without “lawmakers.” What next? Housing, gasoline, energy, criminality run rampant (went to grocery store last night and the entire personal care product aisle is behind lock and key), protection from nuclear fallout precipitated by extremely hazardous White House pronouncements? Can’t ‘make your own’ so easily there.

So while this one is fixable, it is a nasty harbinger. The Mine Canary if you will.

I am very happy my grandson is 20 months. My daughter is a little stress ball as it is and this would break the camels back if we all had to go out hunting for baby formula for him. How horrible for these poor moms. I cannot feel bad enough for them and their babies. So tell me what can’t this administration feel what I do? Well, that was rhetorical we all know they do not give one iota! What goes around comes around. I would hate to be on the receiving end of that! God does not like ugly! 😑

Heather breastfed both Lucy and Henry. She said it was the easiest thing she ever did. I was so happy she did that. Joey used to take Lucy to the stables while Heather was working just so Heather could nurse her.

I am so so glad Henry is off formula now. Joey does not give Henry or Lucy cow’s milk. They get coconut water and oat or almond milk.

I feel guilty for feeling so relieved. I feel so badly for the families who are suffering.

In response to the video title “Did the FDA bungle the recall?”

If what I have read is correct, then no. Stopping production and ensuring recalibration in response to the mislabeling of contents that resulted in the hospitalization of four infants and the allergic reaction deaths of two would (in the past) have been the FDA response.

On the other hand, if the video is correct and infectious contamination was at play, then sterilization would seem to be in order.

Nonetheless, under Biden, the Abbott Nutrition plant gets permanently shut down.

Still, if this formula is so deadly, why is Biden endangering his beloved illegal aliens by giving multiple pallets to them?

If, on the other hand, this formula is valuable, why doesn’t Biden make it available to those who he swore to defend?

On the face of it, the situation would suggest that the Biden administration is taking the position that this product is too dangerous to sell to American babies, but the risk can be taken with foreign babies being brought in from other countries. that is the opposite position that the one taken by Biden haters, which is that he cares more for immigrants than he does citizens. Still, I have a sinking that my “on the face of it” suggestion is horribly invalid. One should never take Biden’s actions at face value.

It is not my intention to come off as a bitter naysayer but even with adding this baby formula debacle to his bring down america agenda It may not be enough to foster the right’s much anticipated night of red long knives this November. These same voters who spit on and kicked to the curb their former president whose economic policies helped create jobs, gave them hope and prosperity will continue to look to the criminal left in DC to rescue them from the despair and destruction rained down upon them by this dumb like a fox criminal in the Oval Office. It will take more than malnutritioned babies, empty store shelves and $5-6 p/gal gas to jolt these a-holes out of their stupor. The 10’s of thousands queuing up on our once southern border waiting to attack next week and every week after that in perpetuity seemingly fazes few if any.,Turn off FOX and walk-no- drive through the streets of your nearby Paterson Newark, Baltimore, Watts or Chicago and ask the not so huddled masses but rather the hanging out masses huddled in front of the liquor store or government funded crack house who de be voting for as opposed to listening to the less than handful of educated political aspiring blacks on FOX pontificating on how the never before inclined to vote for republicans will do so this November.
After giving shots of truth serum to the college educated from their 20’s to their 50’s ask who they will vote for if the presidential election was held today. I may be totally off base but the only red wave we’ll see is down the shore when the bacteria rolls in.

Biden was more than happy to enact the “war powers act” for his own agenda… why not with this formula? The FDA did not need a crystal ball months ago to know we were headed for this… what is the point of government if there is no planning ahead? It was the lack of contingency which was the failure in my mind of the total failure as opposed to ramping up Abbot hell or high water,
