Biden Works to Nix Another Pipeline as Gas Prices Continue to Soar

Biden approves the Russian pipeline to Germany but nixes the EastMed pipeline that Trump managed to achieve for Israel Cyprus and Greece. The claim of course is it is a fossil fuel as opposed to the “new energy.” Sheer madness. Of course the less energy for Europe the higher the prices for all of us in this now “Zero Sum Game” that Biden is putting us and the world through. Here we go:

New York Post:

If you needed any more proof that the anti-American, pro-Russia, pro-Iran, pro-China, anti-Israel wing of the Democrat Party has captured the White House flag, last week we learned Team Biden plans to put the kibosh on a natural-gas pipeline with US involvement that would reduce Europe’s dependence on Russian energy.

Turkish state media channel TRT last week aired a documentary opposing the EastMed pipeline titled The Pipe Dream, which includes footage of State Department Senior Advisor for Energy Security Amos Hochstein discussing the matter before he was appointed to his current position.

Hochstein said he would be “extremely uncomfortable with the US supporting this project” because of its environmental implications.

“Why would we build a fossil fuel pipeline between the EastMed and Europe when our entire policy is to support new technology… and new investments in going green and in going clean?” he asked. “By the time this pipeline is built we will have spent billions of taxpayer money on something that is obsolete – not only obsolete but against our collective interest between the US and Europe.”

The Eastern Mediterranean Gas Pipeline, which would carry Israeli and Cypriot natural gas, is yet another energy resource serving America’s strategic interests that the Biden White House wants gone. EastMed joins a long list that started on Day One with the Keystone XL pipeline, a ban on oil and gas leases on public lands and the October federal court ruling that ended drilling in the National Petroleum Reserve in Alaska.

The Trump administration backed the $7 billion EastMed pipeline, a project of Israel, Cyprus and Greece, well before it was signed in January 2020. The 1,200-mile-long pipeline would bring 10 billion cubic meters of natural gas from Israel’s Leviathan and Tamar offshore to Europe, offsetting supplies that otherwise would come from Russia. Plans called for doubling capacity in future years.

US oil major Chevron is the main operator of the Israeli gas fields. And thanks to the Abraham Accords that opened trade and diplomatic relations between Israel and four of its Arab neighbors, the United Arab Emirates bought a 22% stake in the Tamar field from Israeli interests in May.

Agree with comments this plays into Russia’s and Turkey’s hands. Every time those two start finagling something bad happens in Europe. Maybe it’s taking one of Israel’s knights off the chess board.

In other news a private volunteer group in New York City is cleaning up the graffiti and filth in parts of Manhattan. The tens if not hundreds of billions of dollars the city gets from here and there is not enough to pay sanitation workers to do their job between coffee and lunch breaks during their 6 hour workday.

I saw a volunteer group after the riots in 2020 out cleaning up the classy stone cladding in the commercial district in Manhattan, and a woman stopped to yell at them for erasing the people’s message (BLM). They are STILL depending on volunteers? Geesh!

Should Biden and Giggles lose both houses then the Oval Office what great fun it would be for Russia and China to leak and expose the Biden franchise. Or…This whole Ukraine thing stinks to high heaven. First Putin gets his pipeline for which the Biden’s get cash under the table then Putin and Biden play cat and mouse throwing everyone off the scent with Biden getting the Nobel Peace Prize for his efforts in avoiding a war. Biden wins in 2024 and what remains of the US of A is sold to the highest bidder (read: Chins.) Oops once again time for my meds…

Who is the fellow Hochstein who is blocking the pipeline?

In March 2017, he joined Tellurian, a private Houston-based LNG company, where he served as Senior Vice President Marketing until his departure in September of 2020. He serves on the boards of the Atlantic Council and U.S.-India Business Council. Hochstein is a former member of the supervisory board of Ukrainian Naftogaz, from which he resigned in October 2020 by writing an opinion piece that highlighted the return of sabotage in the form of corrupt forces.

Germany gave up their nuke plants and now hooked up to Russian gas via the Nord stream 2. So this might have been partially alleviated by a pipeline that would benefit democracies Israel, Cypress, and Greece. Looks like we can’t have that.

It’s all about the NWO. I am going to keep mentioning this; what about the Bidens take of $30 mill. from China? Going to he hockey sticks come to mind.

This is what it looks like when ideology trumps ideas. Cut pipelines here and their for confused ideological reasons and then support those similar projects that place us directly in the hands of our adversaries. Putin will use gas as a weapon to fragment NATO. Note the silence coming from Germany as Russian tanks and BMP’s idle on the Ukrainian border.

I don’t even understand the Biden administration’s rationale for what they’re doing. What “new technology” are these people talking about? Is this technology so “new” that it doesn’t yet exist? Anyone with a clue, please throw me a bone.

It’s called turning down your thermostat. Or, as they say in Berlin when they can’t afford the bill, Drehen Sie Ihren Thermostat herunter.
