Biden: ‘“We Will Take, Literally, Millions of Automobiles off the Road. Off the Road”

Joe managed to find his way to Scranton yesterday with this announcement that surly will help his poll numbers. Americans love our cars Joe. Better yet the man says “it will save millions of barrels of oil.” Sure, walking does too. The truth of the matter is he wants expensive gas. Restricting movement is part of the agenda.

It was a bizarre meandering speech. Here are a few of the low points. He was back to his well debunked Amtrack days. Actually it was pretty scary thinking this is the man in the WH.

How soon before we go through another cash for clunkers program when good used cars were destroyed by pouring concrete into the engine block in the name of this Marxist rot and this Green nonsense?

I think this about sums it up.

Jen Psaki is the face of this administration, since conversations with Biden are few and far between. Her snark grows by the week. Here is one for the books. I dare say the media cannot disregard her nonsense forever.

Classic Psaki. The bill hasn’t even been written yet it won’t cost a dime.

“Burn out all the scrub” – that’s how the Germans did in Poland. They had lists of hierarchies of trusted authority figures – mayors, police, teachers – and rounded them up to remove leadership around which resistance could rally. Not unlike the current de-platformings.

When I read your post over at Z’s I responded same. It’s all about restriction of freedom, and freedom of movement. Americans especially equate car = freedom. Ask ANY 16 year old boy!

The globalists look at their risks and benefits. Somebody(s) decided in recent years that freedom of movement was giving them more risk than they wanted to take on. Plus, we have ‘too many’ people for the system many elites envision. The authoritarian and totalitarian has always longed to restrict movement. Control the population, and know where everyone is and what they’re doing. Nazi Germany did this with extreme efficiency through data manipulation enabled by state-of-the-art IBM equipment and the specialty punch cards it required, purchased illegally through (I think) Switzerland after FDR put controls on their export. (IBM and the Holocaust) Control freaks LOVE technology in ways we don’t imagine.

The modern version of this is, of course, the so-called “vaccine” passport. Its groundwork was being laid intensively over the last 3-5 years, waiting for an opportunity to spring it on a fearful populace who have lost their minds and would accept it uncritically.

I posted more on this at Ed’s recently. It’s simply the convenient gateway to CCP-style data storage and tracking, to create a 2-prong consolidation: 1) enhanced commercial value for the “players” (especially after helpfully shutting down the little guy competitors), and 2) political and personal control. Revelation 13-style consolidated control.

Freedom does not play well for these authoritarians. You so well laid out the points and I thank you. I will check out your links… as you figured no doubt, I have time these days, though I must say sticking with the full Biden yesterday was a strain..still at a lost why I am the only one with this tidbit..only place who carried the full thing was CNN.. every other network had moved on.
Yes, growing up in rural America, 16 and a car brought emancipation and freedom. Now that was joy. How better to control rural America with the vast distances to travel.

Like Mustang, I have lost faith in the guts of the American people.

Sure, there are a few bright spots out there. But not nearly enough to turn the tide.

How does one “save the forests?” Well, you have to burn out all the scrub. You set a fire that you can control in order to prevent a larger fire that you can’t control. It is the same strategy pursued by the communists in Vietnam. Burn out all the scrub … the intellectuals, well-educated, middle class folks using the massive numbers of poor to do your dirty work, and when all the scrub is gone, the communists have a better chance of reshaping society in their own image. Sort of like the “get the cars off the street” campaign, and a windmill in every backyard — to save the earth.

So, my good friend “Kid” suggested, beginning several years ago (as I recall) that the only hope for America is that we stand back and watch the Democrats destroy it. They’re going to do it anyway, so let them. And when America finally reaches its lowest possible point, when the monkeys take over the monkey house, when there is nothing left for the Democrats to destroy, maybe — just maybe, a light will come on above the heads of all the self-centered low-life’s and we can begin a much-needed restoration project.

Kid could be right, but I’ll never live to see it — and the fact is, I have no confidence in the American people to sort out anything. The communists have long figured it all out. Offer the masses small doses of honey with the arsenic and they’ll guarantee themselves complete ownership of ruling class position forever and ever. I sense no ground swell of Americans standing up for anything and to be perfectly honest, I could not be more disgusted.

Interesting that I as well held Kid’s thought that like the Lemmings there might be a few who are unwilling to take the jump.
How could this man go to coal country scranton and try and sell his program and there is not one mention of this car business? I could simply pull out my old Obama era posts that had the same exact plans… Rural America? Who cares… just get a horse and meanwhile we will string wind farms across your land.

The old man is so cute. Who in America today without toilet paper and Christmas presents could turn on him. With gas at $10 p/gal and no running water or electricity who would mind hiking to the nearest train station, doctor’s office or airport to watch him on CNN?
Hoping I’m wrong the democrats will pull another rabbit out of the proverbial hat in 2022 and retain their death grip on the country. Kamelaho will own the Oval Office beginning in November, 2024. With Zuckerberg, Bezos etal owning the leases to all the mailboxes in the country along with their billions -or is it trillions by then-in the mix how can the Marxists lose?

Zip on Fox about his car comment yesterday…. We shall see with the VA race… if the GOP prevail there may be a glimmer of hope… Something about the car and the Marxists. But then again, it hits rural America and anything that can ruin our lives…

Ever the eatery pessimist McMarxist wins if only by a hair. Even at the expense of destroying their children’s childhood the parents of Virginia will not desert the party. That coupled with Manchin proving history repeats itself all will remain the same only shall we say reinvigorated in the swamp.

        Peter,
I read an article that suggested Manchin was thinking of abandoning the Democrat party. It didn’t say he would go Republican, though.

Manchin’s act is getting old. He’s an opportunist thinking only if Joe. Last night on his radio show Levin laud it out perfectly what so many of us believe about Manchin; Manchin is for Manchin.

Now if we could only get Joe to stop trying to be a new-wave socialist and go back to being a milk toast Democrat like he was for nearly 50 years. He might as well face the fact that he will never please the socialists (because socialism only works on paper and in academia).

If then we could get Joe to really be for Joe by being for working America, then we all might survive.

My hunch Manchin is aiming to make a run for the Prez… yes.
The sleeper is the AZ gal. I had spent a lot of time doing a deep dive on her and had a post almost ready but thought why post it and give fuel to the other side….. her connections would put anyone’s hair on fire…. I will take this to the bank…she will never go along.. and keeping a low profile. She has better plans for her life after Congress. What a surprise.

On one hand, I am glad they have Biden to totally destroy the independent vote for the Democrat party.

On the other hand, I don’t think America can afford Zucker/Biden/Harris.
