Harris Encourages U.S. Businesses To Outsource Investment From U.S. To Central America

When was the last time an administration encouraged American jobs to go overseas? So much for America First. As the hordes descend upon us, our savant, one Kamala Harris, has been tasked with solving our border crisis. Not bad enough to have millions storm our borders, better yet let’s send our jobs to the various hell holes of corruption. Meanwhile we send billions throughout the world in the form of so-called foreign aid. The thought of Harris negotiating with these third world countries should put a chill down anyone’s spine.

Here we go:

Vice President Kamala Harris on Thursday unveiled the agreements of 12 companies and organizations to invest in Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador as part of the administration’s efforts to deal with a surge of migrants from Central America at the U.S. southern border.

Biden administration officials have said the aim in part is for greater private-sector involvement to outlast shifts in policy and government aid between administrations, reducing over time the motivations for migrants to make the often dangerous journey to the U.S. border.

While leading a recent GOP delegation to visit the border, Rep. James Comer (R., Ky.) said more government investments in the region wouldn’t deter migrants from making the journey to the U.S. “We’ve been giving foreign aid to a lot of those countries for decades, and it’s only gotten worse,” he said.

Ms. Harris has said that private-sector investment along with help from nonprofits and the United Nations could speed up progress in the Northern Triangle. “We must think beyond government,” she said in a speech earlier this month to the Council of the Americas, a business group that focuses on economic and social development in the Western Hemisphere.

One potential hindrance for companies has been corruption. The Northern Triangle countries are among the most corrupt in the world, according to Transparency International’s annual Corruption Perceptions Index, a global survey of 180 countries.

We are finding out just what the Democrats meant when they opposed “America first” and this one takes the cake. I cannot believe Dem voters actually wanted this, they just hated Trump so much they were not paying attention. But then again maybe I am giving them too much credit and maybe they really do long for the ultimate and final destruction of this country.

I don’t wanna hear even one word of “honor our fallen heroes” BULLSHIT from Republicans who continue to worship a despicable traitor and continue to do NOTHING about the deadly insurrection

You must mean Biden then…. as there was no deadly insurrection other than a civilian on Jan 6 by a cop.

We should rather hear about those stalwart Democrats/Communists who have consistently involved our people in wars since 1812, resulting in 1.1 million deaths for those serving in uniform. As I seem to recall, Trump was the ONLY president in recent memory who DIDN’T get us involved in another hot war. But if we wanted to discuss insurrection (anti-Fa and BLM SFB movements) then we should spend a moment to place that blame where it belongs: Democrats nee Marxist Progressives.

We dare not talk about the plundering nightly by ANTIFA and BLM… total news black out… but let’s beat the drum over terrible Trump just for the heck of it….may we have another hearing???

Well, this is sort of like solving the car theft problem. Cops should demand your car keys so that they can drive your car to the chop shop to be cut up for black market parts. Similarly, you could solve the piracy problem. Just take a ship out to sea and abandon it. Tired of invaders coming here and taking our jobs? Simple. Take our jobs to where the invaders are and save them the trip. Where do we get these idiots?

About the same thing as shop lifting up to 900 bucks is not a crime so 17 Walgreens close in CA……help yourself to whatever….. We get them from voters for a start.

We sure are living in an upside down world; where math is racist, boys are girls, girls are boys, up is down, war is peace, carbon dioxide is a poison, invasions are humanitarian, and terrorists are freedom fighters, elections are openly stolen, abortion/murder is ok, pedophile is ok. Shall I continue?

This is just a guess, mind you … because I have no clear idea what the communists are talking about from one minute to the next. But my guess is that the only reason to have a company is to profit from it … you know, how some people earn a living. Of course, it takes money to earn money, so no one can be in business without incurring expenses. Profit-motivated companies have an obligation to themselves and their shareholders, to minimize costs and maximize profits. You know, stuff like paying salaries to employees, insurance costs, utilities, materials, machinery, and of course, taxes imposed by coercive governments demanding their share of a business owner’s profits without incurring any of the business owner’s risks. Every one of these costs is ALWAYS passed along to consumers at the point of sale.

So, to have a vice president suggesting that business owners also incur obligations to invest in foreign societies is … well, ludicrous comes to mind. And to suggest such a thing would seem to me an admission by Harris that government policy and expenditures in foreign aid over the past 105 years has been a massive failure. It is nothing less than jaw-dropping. No, not the massive expenditures, but Harris’ admission. When I suggest jaw-dropping, I mean to suggest the same kind of astonishment as when One Cylinder Joe suggested a few years back that paying higher taxes is patriotic.

One final point. Consumer costs (the cost of goods and services) increase whenever government raises taxes on business owners (because businessmen pass those costs along to consumers in order to maintain their “bottom line”). So, if companies like Apple begin sending gazillions to Mexico and all points south, you know … to become one of Harris’ good neighbors, how much MORE will consumers have to pay for their Apple Watch/iPad/MacBook Pro?

Anyone want to bet that the companies who “help out” will get something in return from Kamala or am I just being a cynic again. Just read 850 Billion headed south of the border now.. sure it is just a starter.. something about stupidity, it likes to repeat.. Love that one cylinder Joe.. you sure are giving him a lot of credit… 🙂

Sending $861-billion south sounds remarkably similar to paying “protection” money to mobsters. Hmmm. I thought we didn’t pay ransoms to terrorists … ????

This is kind-of like the story about Biden commenting on the daughter of the veteran. One outlet includes it, but nobody really reports it. Can you imagine Trump making a comment like Harris’ or Biden’s?
